Having used this brand to achieve long glossy tresses in the past, I had no qualms about it's quality and effectiveness. As per the instructions, the product can be used on towel dried hair or after a blow-wave, but I chose the former as my mane tends to get a little too "sleek" subsequent to applying products when it is fully dry. One pump, two. I gently spread the serum across the surface of my hands and applied to my hair, steering clear of my roots. The product smelled pleasant, similar to that of their otherwise ordinary conditioner. The texture was like silk to the touch and lathered easily. Then came the heat, a gust of hot wind and a GHD to straighten things out, but oh no! My otherwise shiny hair closely resembles very fine hay. From what I understand, this is the complete opposite of what the product had promised. As with any experiment, all other conditions were kept constant when trying the said product, so I nothing else could have been at fault for my hair closely resembling a drought in Middle East Africa. The verdict? This product did not agree with my otherwise manageable hair. I would not recommend it, but hey... Different strokes for different folks. It is a bit pricey but a few sprays are all you need and a bottle has lasted me about 6 months (although my hair is about shoulder length). My hair is naturally very thick and frizzy and I blow dry/straighten my hair with every wash...this product has been a life saver in keeping the damage to a minimum as well as prevent a lot of split ends which is great for when you want to grow out your hair.
