And when I found the match and it blended perfectly with my skin I was in awe. But all those feelings was crushed but the realization that it's just not suited for my skin. I was really eager to see if Rimmel's BB cream was any better, so thank you to the Beauty Bulletin team for sending me this to review! I must say that this BB cream is definitely a head above the rest, I find that it goes on smoothly and leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturised, it also conceals the minor imperfections and feels lightweight on the skin. I love that it contains and SPF 25! We were unexpectedly caught out by a hot day and whilst my friends got burnt noses, my BB cream saved the day and I didn't burn at all. I will wear this BB cream on its own on days when I feel like going natural, but I do like my foundation for just that bit of extra coverage when going out at night. On the whole I do love this product as it fulfils its promises and is lovely when you need to get ready at top speed like I do! I don't find that it did much - it wasn't even very hydrating, and it didn't even up my skin tone at all. The coverage was non-existent, and there really aren't much colour choices. I thought the price was great, I didn't find it to be very oily, lasts the day for me, though it does need a setting powder to last that long. My skin looks healthy when it is applied, the texture and consistency is lovely and it blends really well. The colour matched my skin wonderfully, too, and didn't come out with a funny shade like so many of BB creams do. It doesn't feel very heavy, and the coverage is decent - it definitely evens out my skin and covers any colour inconsistencies. It does blend nicely but it left my skin looking dull. I love BB creams but this one was not for me. I did like that it was creamy and that it is easy to apply. It really smooths onto the skin and you do not need much blending. It did not have much of a scent which i love, i do not like smelling my make-up and it was not sticky at all. Its not long wearing, since i have super oily skin it basically just fading into nothing before noon struck. As for mattifying, it worked for the morning but made my skin oilier at the end of the day Its really priced well though at R 80. They give you a much more Natural look. I found that the Rimeel BB cream wasn't as great as I would expect it to be , being that it is a well known brand.. It didn't mix into my skin easy, it just looked like product sitting on my face(not cool) It is abit pricy for me aswell.. It wasn't long lasting at all it just melted off my face even in colder weather. While I can't comment on my pores being minimised, the other 8 were spot on. I definitely noticed a 'glow' once I applied this product. My skin did appear to be smoother and I liked the matt finish. It is lightweight and does not feel sticky, its absorbed easily and does not have a strong fragrance. 30ml tube for R100 (at Edgars). The amount of product seems far too little though,feel like I would go through it quickly. The shades available are limited: Light, Medium and Medium/Dark. Hmmm....what about just 'Dark'?
