I went to Google with my problem (as most of us do ;)) and discovered that its best to use a cleansing shampoo or shampoo without silicone. So I went to Clicks and found Pantene Pro-V Aqua Light Shampoo.. I wasn't sure about it at first as it is meant for fine hair and I have quite thick hair but it was the only affordable silicone free shampoo on the shelves so I decided to give it a try. And I am so glad I did! From the first wash my hair felt light and clean, with no residue at all! My hair also stays cleaner for longer. The clear, non-creamy liquid has a lovely fresh smell and a little bit goes a long way (my bottle has lasted ages!)
