Received this awesome Panasonic Wet/Dry Epilator from @beauty_bulletin and used it for the first time last night. The epilator has 24 tweezers and it is rechargeable. The battery lasts up to 15 hours and the epilator can be fully submurged into water. The epilator is also compact and easy to clean.

I haven't used an epilator in many years and wasn't sure how I would experience it after years of shaving and waxing. After reading the very informative brochure which accompanies the campact epilator I was good to go. Once you get over the initial tingling feeling which does not hurt at all, I was quite impressed what this epilator could do. It left my skin silky smooth and extremely soft. I tested the Epilator by epilating one leg with foam and one dry and it gave me the same results both times. Silky smooth and baby soft skin. This awesome Epilator is available at Clicks for R599. This is definitely a Christmas wishlist item. #smoothsummer #PanasonicBeauty #silkysoothlegs #summerlegs #summerready

I am so super happy to have been chosen for this review club. I was literally dancing in living room when I found out.

I have been using an epilator for about two years now. Since the epilator that I had been using is a dry only epilator I was very excited to try this particular eplilator. This epilator has a unique foam feature. It can be used with a shower gel/wash to create a foam.

Physical specs:

This eplilator has 24 tweezers and claims to remove even short and thin hairs. The size of the epilator is compact and fits into your palm ( I have a picture displaying this..my hands are small and it does fit in my palm) It is white and purple. I really like the purple. The tweezer head is detachable and so is the skin guard. This is a cordless rechargeable device with a charge time of 12-15 hours, giving you 25 minutes of use after charging.

Putting it to the test:

Since I have been using epilation I am familiar with the process. I tried a small section of skin dry. I decided to use the epilator wet on one leg and foam on the other. I used a moisturizing cream shower gel for the foam application. The directions state to apply the shower gel directly onto the tweezers when they are wet. I found it easier to apply the shower gel directly onto my skin and to lather it, then use the epilator.

Results:

When I tested the epilator dry I was very impressed by how fast it removed the hair. I was also impressed by how many hairs it removed in one movement. I didn't have to go over and over the area to remove all the hairs.
Using the epliator wet did allow for easier removal of hair, since the skin and hair is softened by water. The epilator moved smoother on wet skin vs dry. It also removed the hair quicker and hurt less than on dry skin.
Using the epilator with foam was the real mark of this device. It was almost pain free and the epilation was smooth and effective. Being able to use a shower cream/gel also meant I could add moisture to my skin.

Dry only vs Wet/Foam:

In comparison to dry only epilation wet/foam epilation is:

- Far less painful. Dry epilation is rather painful
- Less irritating to the skin. My skin was far less redder than with dry only epilation. The redness also went down alot faster with the foam epilation.
- My skin did not sting in the shower the next day as it has with dry epilation.
- My skin felt smoother and the hair was removed more effectively (less stray hairs)

Overall this device lives up to it's claims. I usually have problems removing the thin fine hairs on the back of my calves but this epilator removed them easily. It worked just as well on the thicker hairs. Being able to use it in the shower is super convenient and will make touch ups a breeze. This epilator works really fast and this definitely minimizes irritation. I was so impressed by the fact that my skin was neither irritated nor red the next day. It was so easy to clean because it can be rinsed. The fact that the skin guard is removable means you can easily clean the entire disk. You will definitely save money on wax and hair removal creams. Cordless means perfect for travelling and its compact.

I will be enjoying a #SmoothSummer with #PanasonicBeauty.

The Panasonic Epilator is an effective hair removal tool. The Epilator can save you loads of money in the long run and it is as effective as waxing, it's just more cost effective. The Epilator is easy to use and it can be used on wet and dry skin. The Epilator is an effective, compact value for money tool, which is easy to use.

I'm no stranger to epilators having always used one.Wet and dry though is a totally new concept for me and is a step up from my Philips Satinelle.
Pictured side by side you can see the philips is smaller and more square and significantly more lightweight than the Panasonic.
The Satinelle i own epilates hair as short as 0.5cm:massages and even has a shaving head with bikini trim function.
It can be used all over the body.....yes that means underarms too.
So why do i say that this heavier single speed Panasonic is a step up.
Its the wet /dry function that makes it a total game changer.
Warmed skin means dilated pores means easier less painful hair removal.
Ive just done my entire legs in under 15 minutes.....in my case i am used to an epilator and i dont really feel that its painful at all.
I found wet lather albeit less painful slightly cumbersome to see hair in the foam and also u have got to wipe the heads more frequently.
So for me i feel the dry works better .
This machine is super efficient fast and wont overheat.
Its the perfect starter machine for anyone wanting to try epilation.
Its nearly painless and so efficiently removes the hair that when you remove the head to clean the hair collected will startle you.
Because hair is efficiently removed at the root no more bumps.
The transient redness settles.
And once you are hooked.....you will always use an epilator.
So say bye to nicks and cuts and salon appointments.
Say hello to short dresses....comfortable quick cordless epilation in your home.
Its going to be a #smoothsummer all year round with Panasonic.
Try this and be converted.

I am already an epilator user, so my focus would be mainly on the specific Panasonic epilator and not on epilators as a whole.
I was quite impressed that it can be used as a "foam" epilator which is a new concept to me. At first I thought it was just a 'gimmick' but it did leave my skin smoother and softer afterwards! I sometimes experience ingrown hairs and the moisturising effect of the foam epilation does seem to help prevent this.

PROS
-The epilator is a bit less noisy than some of the other brands
-The fact that it is cordless and can be used with shower gel, makes it extremely convenient!
-When using it with shower gel, epilating is faster. It almost takes the same time as shaving, but with smooth legs that last for at least a week.
-The battery lasts quite a long time.
-It is perfect for taking with you on holiday (not noisy, cordless, can be used with showergel)
-Foam epilation is definitely LESS painful than dry epilation.
-Very easy to clean under running water

CONS
-You cannot use this epilator for your under arms or bikini area, so it is not suitable for sensitive areas (which is quite a pity, as I would imagine it could work great!)

I would definitely recommend this epilator, especially if you are a newbie to epilators, as this was less painful to use with my shower gel and faster too.

My first thoughts on this were actually that I was half too scared to use it, it can look and sound a bit intimidating and that first time you use it can be painful and slightly off putting for those that are not used to it or have never used an Epilator before.

The Panasonic wet and dry Epilator is a very handy little gadget for women to own! I mean this is really life changing when it comes to hair removal! Your first use can be a bit painful and it is something to get used to but once you get the hang of it and do your weekly shaves then it is a breeze! you hardly notice the little pinch u feel when it plucks out the hair. This is basically like tweezing/ waxing as it neatly plucks the hair out by the root and this results in the hair growing back slower, softer and even less.

This beautiful compact hand held Epilator is cordless and comes with a charger so once you charge this baby up you can even throw it in your hand bag if you have the need to touch up legs for random unplanned summer beach visits!

The fact that it can be used in the bath or shower is a big bonus! For first time users I would suggest using it in the bath as the the water makes the hairs comes out easier and its so pleasant that u can just put a drop of shower gel on it to use it with foam.

After two weeks of testing it out i can say this it is something that I would definitely recommend everyone to invest it! It saves time and money and is ultimately the best solution for hair removal I have every come across!

Summer is literally right on our door step, which means every girl needs to keep her legs soft, smooth and silky for days at the beach, lunch dates or simply nights out. What is a better way to get ready for Summer, other than having the new Panasonic Foam Epilator in your hand? Let me introduce you to the revolutionary FIRST foam epilator in the world. Say what? Pretty cool right? This snazzy little gadget (the first of its kind) works as a dry epilator, a wet epilator PLUS has a MIND-BLOWING feature which foams for a closer and smoother epilation process.

I couldn’t contain my excitement for very long when I ripped open my package from Beauty Bulletin to find this multi-tasking epilator, but honestly… I never expected this Foam Epilator to change my hair removing routine for life. I’m a regular at epilation, but this foam epilator is a real GAME CHANGER. So in four years of dry epilation, you can imagine how ecstatic I was to try a foam epilator, I mean it’s a FOAM EPILATOR!! You’re probably wondering… “what’s so special about this foam epilator?” Well this uniquely designed epilator creates a light foam from a single drop of shower gel (you add this to the epilator before you begin) to create moisture, which protects skin with a creamy foam that prevents skin from becoming dry.

What’s in the box:
Panasonic Foam Epilator (ES-EU10-v)
Charger for your epilator
A cleaning brush
Instruction Manual

What you need to know about this unique epilator:
This epilator is cordless
This epilator is waterproof
This epilator can be used: dry, wet or as a foam epilator
This epilator can be used in the bath and shower
This epilator has 24 tweezers, which grip even the shortest and thinnest hairs
This epilator can fit perfectly in the palm of your hand
This epilator has a detachable skin guard
This epilator is completely washable
This epilator has a light indicator when charging
This epilator includes a small cleaning brush to remove hair which might be stuck in the machine

Let us get down to basics, an epilator you say? Wondering what in the world is that? Let’s find out! An epilator is an electrical device which is used to remove hair by mechanically grasping multiple hairs simultaneously and pulling them out. Epilators can come in corded, rechargeable and battery operated devices. Sounds painful, I know.. but after your first time epilating, you get used to the pain (it is bearable on legs and arms) and your hair becomes finer and takes longer to grow, means you get to epilate after long periods of time.

My first thoughts on the Foam Epilator: As soon as I opened the box, my eyes glistened as I gazed at this gorgeous lilac and brilliant white epilator. I was so excited to try out this epilator, I put it on charge for around four hours (while the epilator charged, under the on/off button, there is a little red light glow which indicates charging). Normally the epilator requires at least 12- 15 hours of charge time, but I managed to work around it with four hours of charging time, After waiting for the epilator to charge (felt like years because I couldn’t wait to test it out) I got myself prepared to try out the Panasonic Foam Epilator. I wanted to try out the epilator as a dry epilator, a wet epilator and a foam epilator to see the difference.

My Dry Epilation Experience: Epilation is always going to be painful, but I some how got used to it over the years, I didn’t find anything different about the dry epilation, the hair was removed quickly, painlessly and I was left with soft smooth skin, after removing a patch of hair from my leg, I was prepared to remove the rest of the hair on my left leg using wet epilation.

My Wet Epilation Experience: I found it so much easier to epilate my legs, mainly because I had warm water constantly falling on my leg, I felt it softened my skin and made it much easier. I did feel a little bit of discomfort (the epilator against wet skin didn’t really glide well, making my skin a bit irritated), but i rinsed off my left leg with cool water and I was good to go.

My Foam Epilation Experience: I followed the instructions to get the foam epilation going (the instructions state that you should add a drop of shower gel to a wet epilator, turn on the epilator and watch the the foam appear), I wet my legs and gently glided the epilator over my wet leg, I felt a slight pull as the hair was being removed, but I was amazed by how smoothly the epilator just glided over my skin, with all the foam, I missed a few hairs here and there which I removed later, so I still managed to end up with soft silky legs.

I am IMPRESSED! I really enjoyed having a simple, pain free epilation session, the best part was how effortlessly the epilator just glided on my skin, no scraping or discomfort at all, I’m so impressed about how effortless the foam epilation process is, I’ve decided to keep foam epilation as my main hair removal routine. I really appreciated the tweezers (the moving tips and non moving tips which rotate to pull hair out) as they managed to grip and gently remove all fine, stubborn and long hairs which I had.

My Final Thoughts: If you’re looking for a good and reliable hair removing solution, I would recommend you invest in this Panasonic Foam Epilator as it makes regular epilation seem so lame as the most modern form of epilation is right here in South Africa, for R599. Say HELLO to “Summer Ready legs” which stay hair free for at least two to three weeks. I would highly recommend this foam epilator, mainly because you can use it in three different ways, it has a long battery life, the epilator fits comfortably in hands, which makes your epilation process much quicker and pain free. I’ve tried quite a few epilators and this one makes my hair removal process much easier, honestly I’m just taken away by the foam epilation, especially because I find the dry application to redden my skin a lot, but I didn’t find so much redness when I used the foam epilator. I would really advise anybody who wants to use the foam epilator to get a shower gel which lathers up very well (you only need a drop to create enough foam for half a leg) so it doesn't have to be too costly, just an affordable shower gel which lathers well, I used Radox Muscle Relax, which gave my skin a nice refreshing scent.

Thank you to Beauty Bulletin for giving me the opportunity to test out the new Panasonic Foam Epilator and be apart of this review club.

Okay so, the Panasonic Epilator.... not the most comfortable thing I've felt. It is a little bit painful, but that's to be expected from something that's does an amazing job of pulling unwanted hair out from root to tip. Honestly, it's great! It works like a dream and I'd recommend it to anyone who isn't keen on the whole waxing story (like me). I tried it once and I was hooked. My hair grows back so quickly on my legs that within two days I feel like a wooly mammoth, with this Epilator it's been three days and there's no sign of stubble or regrowth. It works great if you have a very fair skin and use spray tan often because you don't have that worry of having to shave every second day to have ultra smooth legs and be tanned, (spray tan which razors tend to remove) my spray tan now lasts days without me having to shave constantly and reapply, so this is definitely a money saver. The wet/dry aspect of this Epilator is absolutely fantastic because I can now use my moisturising shower gel to Epilate and not worry about having to smother myself in cream so that my legs are not dry and flakey like with shaving. Because the Epilator pulls my hair out from the root there is no worry of constant friction on my skin like there is with shaving so I don't have to worry about razor burn or the dreaded razor cuts.
I even decided to epilate my armpits, it work like a dream! Again, I little bit painful, but totally worth it!

I really enjoyed my experience with the new Panasonic Epilator, although it was quite uncomfortable in the beginning, I got used to it quickly and it was such a breeze. Definitely a recommendable product to anyone who hates shaving an waxing.

I’ve been curious about epilation for a while as an alternative to waxing and shaving. My dad’s Italian contribution to my DNA has meant that my body hair comes with a higher thread count. I’ve been trying to defuzz myself completely since I was about 12, mostly with painful results. Shaving has been my go-to over the years, but I feel like shaving is the hair removal equivalent of a tinder date: a painless interim solution but it’s not going to last. Waxing is great if you don’t mind a stranger torturing you and then expecting payment. Epilation is kind of a happy medium between both shaving and waxing. It’s as convenient as shaving but comes without the waxy mess and it still pulls the hair out at the root ensuring your hair grows back thinner and slower.

I’ve been using the cordless Panasonic Wet/Dry Epilator for about two weeks. Initially, I did not enjoy it. I used it dry and I was really thrown by the pain of it; I’ve tweezed before and could always handle the stinging and I also don’t find waxing that painful so I was surprised at how much this hurt. After doing a little bit of research, I found that my ignorance was causing the majority of the pain not the Panasonic Epilator. My first recommendation would be do NOT use this dry. Add your shower gel (shampoo also works) to the epilator, switch it on and let it foam up, once it does you’re ready to epilate! Use the epilator in small circular motions instead of up and down, this isn’t as precise but it does help with the stinging.

I found that the epilator removed about 70% of my hairs, leaving peach fuzz and thinner hairs behind. As a comparison waxing removes 100%, but I can’t do it in the shower and I usually need someone’s help.

If you're committed to hair removal, give the Panasonic Epilator a try! It's cost-effective and convenient.

I also used epilator Panasonic for a long time. well the pros are evident: I don t need to buy spare parts and the result is much better than from shaving. But there are some cons or I just don t know how to use it. That is why I went over to laser epilation. The salon where I go possesses the most modern outfit. As far as I remember they use 1S PRO. Of course it is more expensive than using electric epilator by youself so the choice is yours.

Some like it wet, some like it dry. The Panasonic epilator ES-EU10-v wet/dry offers best of both worlds. I love the purple colour (Royalty), and how portable it is.

I was very scared before using it, as I have never used an epilator before. Thought it would be painful. It is not that painful. You feel a couple of sting like sensations-nothing major-nothing to cry about.

I loved using it, though it would have been a bonus to have speed levels.

I love the fact that I will not be shaving my legs twice a week anymore.

Thank you for the opportunity to do a review on the Epilator,

it’s an amazing product I love fact that you can use a shower gel to remove the hair and it’s much better than using your normal razor on your feet, it removes all hair quickly especially when you taking a shower the Foam helps so much as well.

All though I didn't like the tinkling feeling you get when you use it on your armpits. maybe I didn’t use enough shower gel, on the feet the i didn't feel much pain

In all overall i love the product, its quick and easy. when traveling it wont take space at all its portable its fits in your toiletry bag, So ladies let’s all go and buy the product and show off our lovely legs.

I would give the product 90% compared to other products

To Foam or not to foam is my new options with the all new great Epilator manufactured by Panasonic.

This epilator provides great features that live up to the promises of getting what you paid for and those awesome features are:

it foams, can be used wet or dry ,is waterproof making it easy to clean and it is rechargeable which makes it portable .

I have experienced using anotherleaading brand of epilator and in comparison to that i found this epilator provided satisfactory results.

I love the foaming feature as it helps reduce dryness during epilation and in some way reduces the sting of the epilation. I am very hairy and epilation is like torture but so necessary and efficient when you don't have to shave every second day to have smooth legs. Also that i can use any shower or shaving gel to help make the foam is such a cost saving factor than having to buy some specific brand.

The 24 tweezers allow for maximum hair removal of the finest of hairs which gives you longer and lasting hair removal and that is just what a lady like me loves : hair removal that is maximized and lasts.

Another bonus feature of being cordless is such a treat, as not taking an extension cord all around with you allows for easy usage. Only downfall of this feature is if you start epilating and the battery dies you have to wait until the epilator is fully charged to complete the epilation you already started. But with that 4 hour lasting charge time both my legs where done so that is good enough for me.

Also to mention is that the epilator boasts an easy cleaning feature that allows you to wash the tweezers as the machine is waterproof and brush it off with the brush provided so that the tweezers are kept unclogged of access hair and in my case that is just what is needed when you have hairy legs that can compete with your partner .

So with all this said summer is going to be seeing a lot of my legs and i'm going to enjoy flaunting it!

Overall the eiplator is a compact and resourceful and is worth investing in . It competes with other leading brands and provides value for your money spent !

Being a first timer at using epilators, i was highly sceptical regarding this form of hair removal.

Initially the sting sensation was a bit much to handle, thereafter it was as good as the sensation of going in for a wax. The results weren't bad as to say, however, i had to do a quick shave using my disposable after using the epilator just to get rid of strays.

The battery life is amazing! The shape and form of handling the product was quite comfortable as well.

Will definitely be using my Panasonic epilator this summer and giving my razor blades the summer off!

Firstly, thank you Beauty Bulletin for allowing me to test this product!

I'm not new to epilation. I've owned a Braun epilator for about three to four years now and it's served its purpose well enough. I've used one or two others which were such bad quality I've happily forgotten the brands of each. I use my trusty Braun on my legs and my underarms with pretty good results. But I had no idea I was settling until I used the Panasonic epilator.

The Panasonic epilator is so easy to use. It's small enough to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand without hindering its effectiveness. That being said, the head of the Panasonic epilator is comparatively smaller, and while effective, could be even more so, especially when covering larger areas, if it was slightly wider.

The selling point of this product is its versatility -- a huge plus as far as epilators go. It has a wet, dry, AND foam function, a new addition to the usual wet/dry functionality of most epilators on the market. I valued this aspect immensely, as my Braun epilator can only be used on dry skin. The foam function makes use even easier, lubricating the skin for a smoother finish. For first time epilator users who might be put off by the pain of epilation, this is something I would recommend looking for when purchasing an epilator as the lubrication seemed to minimise the sting.

The Panasonic epilator has one speed setting while my Braun epilator has two speed settings. It is perhaps a minor qualm, but I find that the variance in speed settings offers the user the added choice of tailoring the hair removal to different parts of the body. I missed this in the Panasonic, particularly when it came to my underarms.

With any epilator, I find it is difficult to get the 100% smooth, hair-free finish of a leg wax. This is probably because the tweezers in the head can tug at the hair, breaking it at the surface instead of the root. This is particularly the case if your regrowth is fine and long. The Panasonic is no different, and while it has its downfalls, these are minor. I prefer this epilator to any one I've used before. If epilation is your thing, or if it is something you are hoping to try for the first time, I would definitely recommend the Panasonic.

I received my Panasonic Wet/Dry Epilator in December just before I went to the UK for Christmas. Not an ideal time as I was covering up my legs every day in the cod. I have however tried it out a couple times and here are my thoughts.

As it is a wet/dry epilator, I tried it both ways. First I tried it completely dry, no product or anything. Next I thought perhaps I would have more luck with water and conditioner on my legs - I use conditioner to remove leg hairs as soap is too dehydrating for my skin.

I was so excited about receiving this little baby, did I mention purple is my fave colour? Bonus. The two main reasons I was excited was because my expectations were that as it removes the hair from the root, I could wait a longer length between hair removal expeditions, also I thought it would definitely be a bang for my buck as I wouldn't have to pay to go to the salon for waxes every few weeks.

I am sad to report that this nifty device just didn't meet my expectations at all. Maybe I am the problem, is my leg hair too fine to epilate? It wasn't as sore as I expected it to be, but still a few stings every here and there. After not having much luck, I read the user guide and saw that I wasn't holding it correctly (at a 90?) and tried again, better but still no proverbial cigar.

While it worked better wet, it still didn't extract nearly enough hairs. I would have to shave after using it. Also, I had tons of red bumps all over my legs which felt quite uncomfortable. Lastly, my legs still have red bumps on it - but rather than skin irritation it's more like ingrown hairs.

So unfortunately I will not be using my epilator again, I am giving it to my friend who has thicker leg hairs and it may work better on her. It logically makes sense to me that ladies with thicker hair have more for the epilator to 'grab on to', but I am no epilator expert.

I, personally, am not the ideal candidate for this product, however you may be. I have read many other positive reviews on this product. Thank you Beauty Bulletin for choosing me to review this product.

I am a newbie on using an epilator. I'm usually always in a hurry because I'm a mom of a very busy girl and I'm running my home based business, I'm use to shaving my legs as its quicker, however, the smoothness doesn't last as long.

My experience using this Panasonic Epilator for the very first time was a bit painful as i didn't expect it to sting the way it did.

I used it dry and wet.
Using it dry was most painful though as it pulls all those tiny hairs.
Using it wet hurt at first, but as i got along i became used to it. In other words it became a bit bearable.

Well, it most certainly pulls the hair from the root which gives you smoother legs for longer. And I am quite a hairy one.

With shaving i need to shave at least thrice a week,
With the Epilator, amazingly only once a week which is a bonus for me.

I would definitely recommend it to others.

The quality is good, small, efficient and battery life really lasts quite long.
