It absorbs so quickly into the skin and leaves it soft and smooth for hours and hours. You do not need to use a huge amount, and it absorbs quickly. And I love the smell! It reminds me of the old fashioned Cold Cream, or what I think the old fashioned cold cream must have smelt like :o).
