This wash feels very gentle when applied on wet face. I am not sure how to describe it but it feels soft. At first I had an impression that it wasn't washing properly. It felt like it left a film on my skin. When my skin dried, however, it did feel very soft (obviously due to the moisturising layer). Overall it is a really nice staple wash. I definitely enjoy using it.

I use Nivea Visage Refreshing Face Wash Gel as my daily cleanser . It is cost effective and perfect for any gender who is on a budget and looking for a great face wash . it is a smooth consistency which you need to use less than a R5 size add water for a foam and apply onto your face in a circular motion paying extra attention to the t-zone area of your face .

I am actually surprised at how much I have been enjoying this product.
It removes make-up, oil and dirt quite well. It leaves the skin feeling comfortably clean and not completely stripped and dry. It really is quite gentle - it does not irritate my eyes and has not caused me to break out.
I have since deemed it safe for my kidz to use and that speaks volumes. My son's acne has been clearing up and my daughter's dry patches have completely disappeared.
I really think that any skin type can benefit from this cleanser. I will definitely keep stocking up!

This is my best face wash ever. I love the fact that it leaves my face feeling clean, fresh and moisturized. No breaking or dry skin anymore. I am using the whole range and I am loving it.

I have been using the Nivea Daily Essentials Refreshing Facial Wash for more than a month now, both in the morning and at night. I like the light, fresh smell of this facial gel and the gentle, cool feel of it on my skin. This gel foams slightly when I gently massage it on my face using warm water.
I love the natural glow of my skin after washing my face, Nivea leaves it feeling squeaky clean! This product is really effective, especially for those with normal and combination skin types.

I love this gel wash because not only is it very cleansing, it is invigorating to the skin as well.
It smells good and is gentle on the skin. foams up to the point that I like,wich is not excessive as extra foaming doesn't necessarily mean a face wash is doing its job.
I have not been using this for long but I already love that cleansed fresh faced glow it gives me.

I love this product. I have sensitive skin, am prone to eczema, allergic to many products and my face often dries out from many products. I love the nivea skin care range and always used the one for dry and sensitive skin. I wanted something different and tried this range. It leaves your skin feeling refreshed and clean. I really love this product and will definitely continue using it.

This product is as amazing as it is affordable. I have naturally dry skin, and this face wash has helped to cleanse my face without leaving it feeling dry and tight, which is very important for a face wash for me. I have thoroughly enjoyed using it, it smells wonderful, and does an amazing job of cleansing while also moisturizing my skin.

I have typical combination skin, with the oily T-patch. I have had acne in my late teen years and I have been on Roaccutane. I am well aware of the skin care routines, as i studied it in Make-up artistry school, and, have been trained by my Dermatologist "how to care for your skin".
My skin takes a lashing from products, as it is what sells my service as an artist, therefore it was imperative for me to find a face wash that will gently cleanse and calm my T-zone, yet effectively clean the grime off after a days work.
I have product hoped for many months till I started using Nivea Facial Wash Gel, in 2016 March. I was skeptical as usual as most face washes seem to solve the problem and after 6 months of use I'm back at square one, with an oily T-zone, blotchy skin and using tons of make up to hide it.
I have used this product for almost a year and I can confidently say I have found my facial wash, to stick by. I use the face wash twice a day, it gently cleanses my face and doesn't leave it feeling tight or dry after a wash. It doesn't make my skin more oily after he second wash as most products have done in the past.
The only down sight I do find in stores, is there stocking of the product. At times you will go to a store and they will only have the face wash and not the toner or moisturizer, where as other stores it's the other way around. I have had to go to 2 different stores to get the entire facial range when i need to purchase, which is time consuming, if I'm in a rush or don't have the energy to be store hopping.
The Nivea Facial range is something I enjoy using, but before you do give it a shot, know your skin type, and, what you want to achieve for your skin when using the product.

I bought this in need of a gentle but effective cleaner as I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and dry cheeks. Because I was trying to stay away from harsh cleansers that would dry my skin out.
I used it for about 4 weeks and I was not pleased with this product.
It lathered well and I rubbed it on my face in circular motions for a good 30 seconds, but when I washed it off, my skin still felt slightly oily and Not refreshed. I then opted to lather it on for a bit longer but the results were the same.
It didn't help clear my skin at all and I experienced even more breakouts on my forehead because it wasn't getting rid of the oil effectively.
Also, the smell was quite perfumy which bothered me a bit, because I prefer more natural or neutral smells in a
Facewash.
If you have combination skin, I wouldn't recommend this but if you have a more normal skin type then it could work for you.
