This was my first makeup purchase. I wanted something that was simple to apply and this was perfect. It was in mousse form, making it easy to apply.
The packaging is in a small cylindrical glass container, which makes it perfect and easy for travelling. The texture of the foundation is very unique, it has a velvety texture which makes it easy for application.
The thing I loved most about this product is that it was perfect for a make up 'no make up' look. a good choice for everyday application or when in a hurry to do make up.
It has a wonderful matte finish that enables the make up to stay on for much longer.
This product never ceases to amaze me. It is super blend-able and super light weight . Its easily applied with finger tips or a damp beauty sponge.
The texture is fluffy and soft like actual mousse but even though the formula looks thick its actually very light weight and a little goes a long way !
One application is enough and it leaves a smooth matte finish so powder is not necessarily required .
There are plenty of colors available so you are bound to find one that suits your skin tone.
I have used this Mousse for about 10 years now, and I must say its a great make up for sensitive skin. It does rub off but in all honesty I have yet to find a make up that doesnt and I have used quite a few different "stayfast" ones. The glass little jar is uber chic and you can apply this with your fingers, damp sponge or make up brush. It comes in a variety of shades to suit most skin tones and offers great coverage. It retails for around R200.00 which makes it one of the most affordable foundations out there.
In love with this product as it keep me blossoming when I have it on, like I am not lying! people that knows me will be like "you look different and on point"! The texture of the product is amazingly smooth and blends well in my skin. #greatprice #withbuying BUT... My skin gets a bit dry when using it on winter But... I perfectly love it!

So what is the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse? This amazing foundation is a fluffy mousse foundation which has a lovely velvet feel on fingertips as well as a elastic feel. Once applied to skin the mousse foundation becomes absolutely light and dries on skin to a smooth, velvet matte finish, so there's no powder touch ups.
Why I love this product? This product is meant for oily skin, it's absolutely light and keeps skin looking dewy fresh all day long, plus it gives skin a lovely medium coverage so there's an even skin tone and a beautiful fresh looking face all day.
Product Packaging This Dream Matte Mousse comes in a small pot with a lid that indicates the colour of the foundation. The pot may look really small, however the product is extremely long lasting and a pot can last me up to 6 months
Product Texture The product has an amazing air mousse feel which is light, fresh and fluffy. It feels amazing on skin.
How to apply This foundation is simple to apply with finger tips because its easier to blend, and you won't require a lot of the product.

i am in love love love with this product!! I get the best coverage using this product. You only have to apply a small small amount to cover your whole face, i use a little bit of cream so it covers my face evenly. It leaves such a nice smooth surface, no lumping and no smudges left on my face! quick to apply. I use maybellines mineral powder after applying the mousse and the outcome is phenomenal! i will definitely be buying this product for ever!
