Almay Smart Shade Perfect & Correct Primer Hot
User reviews
Disappointing.
Ah I'm a sucker for good packaging. Unfortunately this bad boy did almost no colour correcting. It did not enhance the texture of my skin nor did it lengthen the wear of my makeup. All-in-all, a product I would not recommend and an impulse purchase I regret.
Product Recommendation
Not a fav
The purple and green swirls definitely contributed to my purchase. I am not very impressed with the product. It does reduce redness slightly but not as much as I hoped. I like a primer that reduces pores, it doesn't say that it does but I was kinda hoping, but it doesn't. I will not repurchase.
I'm unfortunately a sucker for these pretty looking items, and all the swirls in a bottle is what attracted me to purchase this primer. It made my skin feel velvety soft and smooth and made my make up set amazingly well, my foundation didn't cake and my skin didn't look oily, I noticed that my make up lasted longer and had a much more fresher, dewy look than my skin normally would look. However I agree with Reshmika, I really didn't feel my skin get brighter or any of the other claims the product made. However if you're looking for a primer to make your make up set really well, then you should give this product a try because it's worth it.
I have to admit, it was the pretty swirl of colours that caught my eye. The product is fairly good. It goes on smoothly and does not leave any oilyness. My skin felt hydrated and had a healthy look. I have used it a few times already and even though it does provide a smooth finish, I have not experienced any of the other claims, ie brightening of skin, reduction in redness and increased wear of make up.
