I just love this product bought it from Checkers to try it and I fell in love with it after using once, it has the nice scent, make my skin soft and moisture and it is not oily.
I think I've been one of those people who didn't buy this product because it sounded like and was advertised on the back of the Twilight movies, I received a sample at a recent Numetro Girls Night along with a shower poof. First things first, the packaging is the typical Lux packaging, the advertising is he typical advertising but the color of this shower gel is unlike any of the Lux ones I have seen, it is a beautiful Violet color with a slight pearlescent shimmer, it smells beautiful and the smell clings to your skin after you have washed the lather away, it smells floral but not sickly, almost like orchids in a green house. The lather is rich and the bubbles plentiful, I'm glad I was given this sample because of the delicious smell and that wonderful color, it was certainly a surprise!
this body wash has me put off from using soaps forever! *a finely fagranced body wash *i sometimes dont even have to use perfume *the exotic fagrance lingers on ur soft skin long after you step out of the shower * it mosturises skin at the same time

I'm going to start of by talking about the Lux Fine Fragrance Sheer Twilight Body Wash, as you all know...this is the improved version of the amazing product. So the first new change I've noticed is the bottle. As you can see in the image, the bottle is a completely slimmer shape, which makes it much easier to handle while in the shower. I especially love the press down lid, it makes it easier to squeeze out this beautiful body wash with ease, although it can make the bottle a little travel unfriendly because the press down lid and mistakenly get pressed, causing the product to spill. The bottle is extremely eye catching to me, but so because I am a sucker for simple but effective marketing. The bottle has a lovely ombré effect happening where the top of the bottle fades quickly into a light lilac and bright violet and then into a quick black purple, I find it to be enhancing the name "Sheer Twilight" very well.
The Sheer Twilight body wash has a rich deep royal purple colour, and comes in the most luxuriously rich texture which is in a creamy but gel form. As soon as you open the bottle, the gorgeous scent of Black Orchid and Juniper Oil fill the bathroom, enrobing you in a scent of royalty. You only need a few drops of this body wash to create a dreamy and rich lather which has soft lilac foam waiting to caress skin. Once you enrobe yourself in this luxurious Sheer Twilight Body Wash, all your senses begin to open... You can see the beautiful silky foam which wraps you in a scented sheet, while you can smell the scent of Black Orchid and Juniper Oil as the heat from the shower evokes the inner scents, making it the perfect aromatherapy scent. My explanation of how strong this beautiful Sheer Twilight scent is might get you wondering, but honestly I couldn't help it. After picking this up from the post office I kept this Sheer Twilight Beauty Bar in my closet. When I opened up my closet the next morning, I could get the delicate scent of Black Orchid and Juniper Oil filling the room. Being the purple crazy fan that I am, I instantly found attraction to this Sheer Twilight Beauty Soap as soon as I opened the packaging. First eye catcher is the beautiful engraving on the soap of net and flowers, what could make you feel more girly and glamourous? The Sheer Twilight Beauty Soap can foam to perfection and lather up quickly, giving skin a pampered but silky feel. I love the fact that this beauty soap doesn't melt quickly and is long lasting.

I got one of these a while ago to try out, an really enjoyed it, The scent enclosed me in the shower, and was pleasing to my senses, The entire bathroom would be left in a beautifully scented cloud of steam, that wafted out when we opene the bathroom door, It was a good wash for summer but unfortunately I haven't bought one after that bottle was finished as it tended towards drying out my skin, and I think that would be even worse in the winter months we are now entering! I will proberly get it come summer
This product is great .I like being mysterious and dark.I like a body wash that has a strong scent so lux sheer twilight rich scent is perfect and last long on my body .lux sheer twilight makes me feel luxurious and smell beautiful for that date nights and any other night when I just want to feel and good about yourself.
I love everything about this body wash except that I have a very sensitive skin, so I am always prone to infection :-( Wouldnt it be great if all the nice smelling products can be scent free lol! I know all too well about all these comments, Love it.
Lovely smelling flavours and lasts pretty long (unless my husband gets hold of it). As a "body-wash-only" kind of girl - this is one of the most affordable on the market from a reputable company.

I am a great fan of the Lux brand and have been for several years. There are just such great value for money products in this range. The New Sheer Twilight fragrance is no exception. It is very enchanting and a little goes a long way in cleansing skin and keeping you fresh smelling.
So after reading wonderful reviews on this specific one, I decided to give it a go. I picked mine up at Pick n Pay for only R21.99 for a 400 ml which is really cheap.
I used this for this first time last night before bed time. The first thing I noticed was the deep, mysterious purple color of the body wash, and the wonderful all enveloping fragrance that accompanied it.
I used about a tea spoon sized amount on my loofah and it lathered up quite quickly, and created loads of foam in the process, so a little really does go a long way. It rinsed off easily enough. Once I towel dried myself, My skin was left soft and very smooth, and best of all was the fragrance, so soft and subtle but definitely noticeable. When I went to bed an hour later, my husband commented on lovely I smelt, and snuggled in closer for a good whiff lol.
I am totally in love with this body wash, So I'll definitely try out the others :)
Lux Sheer Twilight is a luxurious body wash with strong fragrances yet sensitive enough not to dry your skin after using it. I love using the body wash after a long day at work. The enchanting aromas calm me down and I enjoy my "me time". The fragrance lasts long! The body wash is thick and rich hence a small amount goes a long way. I would definitely buy the product again as its affordable and easily attainable at retail stores.
I have a very sensitive skin, even more so now with our icy winter air, but with using the Lux Fine Fragrance Body Wash – Sheer Twilight for a few days I could already feel the difference in my skin. Although not moisturising, it did not dry out my skin like many washes do. After all moisturiSING is the moisturisSERS job anyway, isn’t it? With a lasting fragrance that surprisingly complimented both my day and evening-wear perfume I was highly impressed. The feel of the bottle and its slim design make for easy handling and storage. The bottle easily slips into my shower and bath racks without taking up too much space. Also, upon dropping the bottle on many occasions as clumsy me does, it did not shatter or break off the lid which is a regular phenomenon with my beauty products containers.
I enjoyed my Lux Fine Fragrance Body Wash indulgence and will definitely be purchasing more in the future! I AM now enchanting without uttering a single word… Thank you for the introduction LUX and the Beauty Bulletin Team xoxo.
After reading a lot of reviews on bb about this body wash I decided to test it out for my self and my word was impressed!
I fell in love with this product the moment I massaged it on my body. It smells soooo divine and the fragrance of the body wash also lasted a looong time, unlike most body washes. I was really impressed with this product and still cannot get over it! This product is now on top if my list of toiletries. It was sooo worth my money and quite reasonable.

I highly recomend this product. You only need to use a little at a time as it foams into a luxurious lather that leaves your skin smelling irresitable all day.
This is a great product that did wonders for my skin, it kept my skin moisturised and revatilised all day. I loved reviewing this product because i have always loved lux products and i used them so i will certainly keep buying the body washes.
The sheer twilight is sheer decadence! It left me with soft smooth and delightfull smelling skin. Just a few drops of lux on my sqrunchy gave me a whole lot of shiny bubbly lather with which to cleanse my body! The scent was delicious and when hubby arrived home after 4 hours he could pick it up when he hugged me. I will buy this product again

I received the Scarlet Blossom Body Wash . I felt like Egyptian royalty after I had used it . The heavenly smell of Egyptian violet & exotic reddish color made my shower feel like a misty aromatic egyptian bath worthy of Cleopatra. I smelled good & i was so soft I floated around with an air of a goddess for the rest of the day.
I was sent one of these body washes and really enjoyed it.The fragrance last on your skin and for someone that has dry skin it really helped to moisturize it leaving it smooth and smelling great for hours.No need of perfume after showering with it.
Lux fine fragrance body wash is very good, it creates a thick foamy lather. Other body washe's I've tried doesn't create insomuch foam. Smells great, leaves my bathroom smelling great even hours after I've showered. Its bettrtouse twitch a sponge than a face clothe.
I love the fragrance of this body wash, it smells similar to Calvin Klein Euphoria but much lighter. Its a bit strong at first but it mellows out during the shower. The scent left on your skin doesn't last very long so it won't affect the fragrance of your perfume you apply afterwards. The only downsides to this body wash is that you need to use quite a bit to get a good lather and its not very moisturizing.
The packaging on this product is really beautiful and it even looks expensive. I found the bottle easy to handle and an added bonus was that it wasn't slippery when wet.
I was pleasantly surprised by this product. I stopped using LUX soap bars many years ago as it used to dry my skin out too much. When I received this Body Wash from Beauty Bulletin, I was dubious, but my opinion quickly changed. Sheer Twilight is sheer luxury. I was amazed and a little alarmed by the purple colour - two squishes of what looked like purple leeches lay on my facecloth. Well, I thought - oh no, there goes my nice white facecloth (this stuff is gonna stain, right?!), but it started foaming as I added water and the scent that wafted up to me was simply glorious! It lathers very well, too. The fragrance is quite potent and I thought that I may have to forego perfume if it stuck to my skin, but after I rinsed, it was gone and in its place, just silky smooth skin. Would I buy it? For sure! It's a great product and for the duration of your bath or shower, you WILL feel like a million bucks.
If you’re curious about the smell (some of us have no idea what black orchids and Juniper oil smells like, right?) I liken it to Calvin Klein’s “Euphoria” – it’s very similar and ever so sexy. Try it, you’ll love it!
Lux Fine Fragrance in Sheer Twilight has very beautiful packaging that looks like it’s on the high-end side of the market, but has a very affordable price.
Once opened, the exotic floral scent is noticeable immediately. It is nowhere near being an unpleasant and overpowering scent, which I usually the case when it comes to perfumed body washes. Instead, the Lux Fine Fragrance smells seductively pleasant.
The directions for use on the bottle state that you only need a small amount on your loofah or bath sponge. I did as was stated and a lovely healthy foam was created from one teaspoon sized drop. It’s thus, a very economical body wash, which is always a plus.
As I was washing my body, the fragrance burst into action and I was immersed by the beautiful fragrance. I enjoyed the process so much that I added another drop and washed myself again.
After rinsing, I could still smell the Lux Sheer Twilight fragrance. I decided to also use the Lux Fine Fragrance Body Lotion to benefit fully from the products. The fragrance lasted for about three hours before I had to try very hard to get a hint of the fragrance on my skin.
Overly, the Lux Fine Fragrance in Sheer Twilight body wash is a very pleasant product to use. It’s very luxurious smells fantastic and will make bath or shower time extra special.
I received the Lux Sheer Twilight body wash to trest and was very excited! The television ads are very "sexy" , the colours of the packaging are striking making it very alluring and the smell is to die for when you first open the bottle! The actual product makes lovely bubbles when first applied to the pouf, but it doesn't last long and I have found that I have to reapply the gel on several occasions. The fragrance is also beautiful as mentioned before, but sadly also fades very quickly. This is nice as a backup product (when my regular body wash runs out), but I would not purchase it in store as is. In my personal experience, you use more of the product therefor making it more expensive than it's competitors.
I've been using this product for a while now and I absolutely love the Sheer Twilight body wash by Lux. It smells amazing and is so well priced, it is an affordable product to use all the time. It really does give my skin such a lovely smell and smooth feel.
The body wash product was the first product in this range that i've bought and just fell in love with it! The smell was unbelievable..as if they've made it for me!
The fragrance is made from the following scents: Black Orchid & Juniper Oil! So now you can probably guess what my flower would be that i like....it's black Orchid!
The smell stays on me hours after I have showered. This product is a keeper.
I have found that they do in fact have this with a matching body lotion at the shops now which made me quite excited!
However, after 3 uses of the wash I actually had a reaction to it. I've used Lux products before with only the best results so I think it may have been the strong fragrance in this one that affected my skin, making it break out in a rash. Luckily I have some cream at home that helped fix it!
I was soooo excited to receive my lux beauty body wash. I do not get a lot of free time to pamper myself and jumped at the chance to do so with lux. The body wash itself was thick and had a warm red color. Just a few rubs on a pouf and a lot of bubbles and foam is created that you can lather over your body. After rinsing the lather off, you are still able to smell the rich fragrance. In fact you can smell the scent up to 8 hours after using it. Tested it myself! So yes, I defenately recommend lux beauty body wash: scarlet blossom!
The LUX sheer twilight body wash smells heavenly!!! the smell really lasts the whole day, and i love smelling great all day! it leaves your skin feeling great and clean! the smell and texture just calms you and really make you feel great. this is really a winner in fragrance and texture!!
My new favourite treat, a royal spa experience for next to nothing! I'm off to buy other fragrances in this range for sure. The bottle says 20 washes but I got almost twice that, Lux have outdone themselves!
i used to use LUx body washes back in the day but stopped because the price was ridiculous for the amount of product. when i received the LUX body wash in sheer twilight i was unimpressed with the packaging. maybe i'm too fussy but to me it looks like someone is trying to make a common brand feel exclusive - it screams cheap. but that's probably just me. the next morning i used it in the shower and i was pleasantly surprised. the wash is rich and thick and gloopy, just like a wash should be, but you don't need superman muscles to get it out of the bottle. i hate feeling like i have to work hard to use something i've paid for, so a product that comes out of its container so easily is already halfway winning. i love the smell of the sheer twilight lux body wash. it's not overpowering and neither is it barely noticeable - yes, i would go so far as to say it's just right. it's not drying on skin which is another win, especially given these chilly days (can winter be over already!). i've used the lux body wash in sheer twilight for about 5 days now and i still like it. the best things about it for me are that it's non-drying and the smell isn't too intense.
Hey* I received the Scarlet Blossom Body Wash :) Normally I only use white or clear body washes, as my skin gets irritated quickly, and with colored washing products I get a skin breakout 90% of the time. So I gave the Lux Scarlet Blossom a try... First of all, the fragrance of the body wash is GREAT!!, I could smell the Body wash on me the whole time, and my husband also asked what that great smell was :)....and secondly, I really though that I would get a Rash, but with the creamy foam the body wash makes, it made my skin even softer and could feel the difference immediately .So Thank You very much for sending me the Scarlet Blossom Body Wash,I will definitely recommend it to people with dry, itchy , irritated or even soft skin for even more softer skin :)
