This was definitely a change for me. I tried out 2 beauty bars from the Lux Fine Fragrances range: - Soft Touch (with silk essence and pink floral infusion, for noticeably soft skin) - Evenly Radiant (with burnt brown sugar, karate butter and almond extract) Since I am accustomed to body washes and the bottles they come in, I found it a tad bit difficult to be using a soap bar. However, I was not disappointed with the products. Much like the Soft Touch body wash which I've reviewed, the above mentioned bars, contain a world class perfume which is the highlight of this range. Both bars lather very well and are of a generous, value for money, size. The fragrance also, like the body wash, lingers on your skin. However, unlike the body wash, it was not strong enough to fill my bathroom with the wonderful scent provided by each bar. The Soft Touch carries a floral scent, with hints of strawberry and vanilla. It indeed does leave my skin feeling and looking softer! The Evenly Radiant is expertly crafted with a unique triple action system. This system is made up of a rich moisturizer, gemstone powder and amber oil which together to provide your skin with the deserved radiance. I was not to fond of its rich scent, I tend to prefer scents which are a bit more toned down and softer. For some odd reason, neither of these bars carried the signature Lux scent which I found a bit strange. All-in-all I was not disappointed with the beauty bars but it wasn't enough to get me to switch from my Lux body wash. ]]> Mon, 23 Jun 2014 09:04:32 +0000
