Week one boasted some fantastic results so during these two weeks I was looking forward to an even better iutcome. As mentioned before I stopped using foundation on my skin except for very special occasions, most of which would involve taking professional pictures. So I had a stills shoot on the 3rd week of using the ASCF and needed to use foundation on my face. I used the fluid as the base moisturizer as I normally do all my day facial products. The results were very surprising. My skin was extremely dry and flaky. It reminded me of when I started using foundation where I would apply it on dry un-moisturized skin and I’d get the same effect. The radiance I noted in the first week, seems to have remained the same. My expectations were of a brighter skin, lightened blemishes however the result that consistently stood out were of the texture of the skin. More refined pores and smoother finish. I was really hoping for brighter overall tone. WEEK 4 My experience is that this is a great product for achieving that dewy, refined pores skin texture. That’s were I found its magic to be with my combination and somewhat sensitive skin. I was very impressed with how it smoothed out the fine lines around my eyes. Even with the foundation gliche, I find it to be a great product I’m guessing since I’m no longer a fan of using foundation daily. Price wise its retail price of R895 IS kind of steep for the results I had. Mainly because my ultimate goals are more of brightening my overall facial tone and achieving that clear, bright even tone. I do however love the quick turn around time for seeing the first results. There are very few products that can confidently boast such a promise. My skin is a LOT smoother and I have a bit of a glow. But my skin has become oilier as well. Something that I'm not too happy about as my skin is already oily. I cut down on the amount of serum I use, but that didn't seem to help. (Maybe it's stress and the heat?) When I first got the serum, I had hoped that it would help with my acne scars. I have seen a slight improvement, with some of my acne scars starting to fade. I know it takes a while for acne scars to completely fade, so I will still use the serum. But only every other day as my oily skin has resulted in more pimples and more acne scars. Overall, I am happy with the results. I love this product despite the cons. I think the price is actually worth it (as I've had no allergic reactions or anything like that). P.S. I am happy with the first month results.The thing I love most about this product is the velvety texture & glow it has given to my skin. After applying to my face & neck morning & night, for the last 4 weeks, there is a visible difference in the tone and texture of my skin. My face does seem brighter & smoother. I also personally felt this product worked as a primer on my skin. My make-up always felt easier to apply after first moisturising with this serum. My make up also stayed in place and my t section also seemed less oily. Not sure if the other reviewers will agree with this? I would have loved to see a differences in the fine shallow wrinkles making its way to my face though, but nothing as yet, perhaps with continued use, there may be a visible difference. I do not have enlarged pores, therefore unable to provide a verdict on that. My final verdict on the effectiveness on this product is that it does visibly reduce dark spots, it does visibly give you an even skin tone & it does visibly give you a natural looking glow :-). Overview Lancome has sold to us a dream in a bottle, claiming that this heavily advertised serum is “more than a wrinkle corrector” as it aims to address concerns of large pores, marks, and uneven skin tone. The claims are enticing and curious me with a skin that needed a miracle, went a month committed to its daily use. When I first applied this product, I thought my skin looked great! Even when I woke up the next day, I thought my skin looked clearer and more luminous. Yet I wanted to see the unevenness gone more than I wanted to see just "great". It works like a primer because it smooths over the skin (it must be the silicone in it) and includes mica which illuminates skin. This has a silky texture just like most serums and of course has a slight fragrance - I like that. Target Areas: - Forehead and around the mouth > uneven tone - Cheeks > large pores Pros: - Silky texture makes skin look smooth, while the mica adds subtle radiance (even though shine is not skin care). - Effectively moisturizes thus no need to supplement with a moisturizer - Lighter skin tone. - Smaller pores. Because the serum is so light and moisturising, it works well with my daily moisturizer so I don't end up looking like a grease ball. My skin tone is improving daily, however the darker marks, left by pimples and hyperpigmentation are still visible. I've also noticed that my pores are less visible which is an A+ in my books. The serum is quite hydrating so you get an overall dewy glow after applying it. Some days I actually feel like I don't even need my moisturizer. I thought that I would see super impressive results since Lancôme is an expensive high-end brand, but this hasn't been the case. The changes are gradual so we'll have to see after a month. Time flies when you are having fun and that's what I have had using the Lancôme Visionnaire Cx Advanced Skin Corrector Fluid. Below are my results after 4 weeks of using the product. Skin Texture: My skin has never looked better. It has progressively improved on the last reported observations in week 1. Its texture is amazing. My pores are greatly minimised and my skin feels smooth to the touch. Skin Appearance: My skin still looks radiant and luminous. Every time I use the Lancôme fluid, it injects new life into my skin. It just makes every I put on top of it better:) Age related issues (fine lines, wrinkles, sun spots): The Lancôme fluid has been doing a superb job of keeping my skin firm and supple. It has really been making my moisturiser and night cream to be much more efficient. My fine lines have been greatly minimised. Pigmentation: The discolouration on my cheeks just under my eye is not yet gone but there are visible signs of improvement. I still have to conceal it but I am using less product. I will continue to use the Lancôme fluid on this area and pair it with a colour corrector cream. Make up application: The Lancôme Visionnaire Cx Advanced Skin Corrector Fluid had me using my prime occasionally. It has been doubling as a primer:) This is a great product whose only downside is the price. I am dreading the day my bottle runs out because the repurchase will be a huge investment. My skin now is *looking smoother because my pores are refined and looking smaller *glowing *looking fairer and the texture is smoother *dark circles are lightened and not as heavy *the tone is more even *crows feet are almost non existant and the lines are filled *t-zone is less shiny *sun spots are getting lighter The imperfection that is a little bit stubborn is my hyper-pigmentation from my pimples. The reason that they are still behind is that the pigmentation is been there for a while and it will take a while for me to see the results. I can see small progress there because the marks are getting smaller than they were and thats a sign that the products is working. The fluid works from the dermis part of the skin. I must say that i have enjoyed the days when i just applied eye make up without applying the foundation and i still looked fresh like i had my bb cream on. I also enjoyed how my foundation would just glide over the fluid and formed my make up pre base. This has been a great experience because i never thought that one product could target so many imperfections and actually deliver on their promise. I am planning to buy this product again as soon as this one finishes. The only downfall is that the product is a bit pricey and it needs serious budgeting!! Over the weeks I've seen my dull looking face having a glow, the large pores are literally decreasing (please check my before and after photos), the dark circles under my eyes are a thing of the past. My complexion has improved and the pigmentation is fading giving me an even tone. I think I need a few bottles before the damage created 15years ago or so can be gone but I know for a fact its possible with this product. My skin is soft, supple and the texture has drastically improved. I have a lazy routine of washing, toning, the skin corrector and sunscreen (on good days) then in the evening I just repeat the routine without the sunscreen ofcourse. I can safely go to meetings now with my bare (no makeup) face only having a touch up with a mascara and lipgloss/lipstick. And the moment we have been waiting for my four week results after using the serum which I used every single day and night which I loved doing, I mean who wouldn’t want to be part of such an amazing review club. Lancome is an amazing luxury brand and this product did truly live up to that name and expected results. So for my first major problems/issues: • Enlarged pore size on my nose – which has reduced in size since using the serum after the four weeks, I can’t wait to see further results with the serum. • Tone and Texture – the skin on my forehead has always been super dry and then eventually gets darker than the rest of my face, but since using the serum have notices it’s much more smooth and softer and doesn’t look dry. • Fine lines/wrinkles – This wasn’t a major issue for me as yet, but surprisingly I did notice some changes in areas where there were early signs of tiny lines which are a bit plumped up. Enjoyed using the Lancôme Visionnaire Cx Advanced Skin Corrector fluid I didn’t need to use too much of the serum on my face, as they say a little did go a long way in this situation. It is opaque white in colour does seem as if it is stick but is the totally opposite. The only sad part is that the packaging is stunning but sadly I cannot see how much is left of the product or when I need to get some more in my beauty closet. Overall experience I am really happy with my results I can’t wait to carry on using the serum, and my journey to having better skin. I highly recommend the serum to anybody who would be by the means to try and buy the Lancôme Visionnaire Cx Advanced Skin Corrector fluid I know it is pricy but is amazing quality. It will definitely stay part of my daily beauty/cleansing routine totally happy with my final results. But then again it’s unique to other serums in the way that it’s a day and night unlike others which you need a separate day and night serum, making it super convenient as you only carrying one bottle and not two. It is an amazing feeling when you know and feel your skin looks great, personally for me I feel as if I just have a natural glow to my skin as if no makeup at all is needed. I would love to try the other products in the range especially the eye cream, if these are the results I should be expecting. When I first applied this product, I thought my skin looked great! Even when I woke up the next day, I thought my skin looked clearer and more luminous. It works very much like a primer because it smooths the skin and includes mica which illuminates the skin. So my skin definitely looks nicer once applied. The one thing I've noticed is that my pores appear smaller with this on, but this Might just be the silicone? From my experience with Lancôme Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector, I find that although it comes with a hefty price tag, it remains true to its advertising and works with a visible difference in how it makes your skin feel and appear after the very first application. I do have very large pores around my nose and cheek area. During the 1st week review I hadn't noticed any reduction in fine lines and wrinkles but now I do see a difference around my eye area. Below are my results after a week of using the product. Skin Texture: The texture of my skin has dramatically improved. It feels very smooth to the touch. The Lancôme fluid has really smoothed my uneven skin texture. My pores have been extremely minimised. I no longer have that horrible strawberry feel on my nose:) Skin Appearance: My skin looks more radiant and luminous. This product has ignited that inner glow which my skin had now lost. It no longer looks dull. The Lancôme Visionnaire Cx Advanced Skin Corrector Fluid does a superb job blurring out imperfections on my skin every time I use it. My skin looks dewy and glowy without none of that horrible shine. Age related issues (fine lines, wrinkles, sun spots): I do not have any deep wrinkles but I had been noticing some fine lines on my face. The Lancôme fluid has been doing a superb job of making my skin firm and supple. Every time I apply it, it deeply penetrates my skin and makes my skin to absorb my moisturiser much more effectively. This has resulted in my skin looking and feeling soft, firm and supple. Those pesky fine lines did not stand a chance. I can hardly see them anymore:) Yeay! Pigmentation: I have some discolouration on my cheeks just under my eye. I have been concentrating on this area and using it to track my progress with this product. Having been newly recruited into the fresh-face foundation free fraternity, I’m excited by the prospect of starting the year with a great skin product that would support me in my decision to remain foundation free. For as long as I can recall, great skin has always been something I’ve had to constantly WANT for. Made a few mistakes, infact more than just a few so that means I’m now all the wiser when it comes to selecting which skin products I can trust for my skin. CONCERNS My facial skin is on the sensitive side. I’d use a product and it would be amazing on my skin at first, however after a few days I’d break out in skin irritations ranging from moderate to – as in the case a couple of months ago – very severe where I experienced burning and itchiness that consequently left my skin dry and blemished. Currently I’m tackling the most common of my skin issues, isolated blemish/acne spots and overall dullness. EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCT – DAY 1 My main concern as mentioned above was how my skin would react to the product. Since I’ve never had a professional diagnosis as to which products or better yet which ingredients in the products irritate my skin so much, I watch out for every and any sensation that I notice after application. I continue to do this even days after using the product. I immediately stop using it once I feel even the least bit of burning or a continued heat sensation especially around my cheek area which is the most sensitive. Another key thing for me is that it doesn’t make my skin oily or shiny during the day. I stopped using foundation almost a year ago, so my daily moisturisers I have to make sure give me that almost matte look and DO NOT ADD SHINE. It smells like a product you’d find at a skin clinic or spa, like a nice professional facial product. I love that. Also I’m very impressed with how light its texture is. The product I received was Lancôme Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector, at first glance my thoughts were "this is awesome" a product that promises to re-texturise the look of skin, refine and correct the appearance of wrinkles, pores and uneven skin. Exactly what I needed and am always willing to put products to the test especially if they could potentially fix my issues. The packaging was beautiful, and the serum was enclosed in an opaque coloured pump bottle which ensures that the efficacy and integrity of the formula is preserved. The only thing I would change about the bottle is that fact that you can't gauge how much product you have left as you use it, so maybe a very thin see through strip on the side some where would do well for that. As always, I also read the back label for ingredients as I like to be well informed on what exactly I am applying to my skin. The first 3 ingredients were water, cyclohexasiloxane and glycerine. I was to happy with that, as it meant hydration, hydration and more hydration. I'm all about that! On application the product glides on smoothly and was easily absorbed into the skin. It did not leave any residue whatsoever. I was determined to get the full effects of the product so I decided my routine would be cleanse & tone in one, apply the Lancôme Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector and an SPF30.  (I wouldn't recommend this as a permanent regime, but I was not willing to take the chance with breakouts or any adverse effects occurring from mixing and matching of products - I prefer to use a product line in its entirety). Back to the serum... The scent was very light and flowery, not over powering at all. I must say I have pleasantly surprised, one week of usage and I see a huge change, particularly to the size of my pores and skin texture. I would ordinarily give a quick glance to my cheek and nose area when getting ready each morning, but I have been taking more time to scrutinise just to make sure it's not my imagination! With regards texture there is just no second guessing, I'm being told more and more how beautiful and flawless my skin is looking! I'm excited to see after one month of constant use, day and night, just how much more improved my skin will look. Would I recommend this product? Immediately washed my face with the Olay Regenerist cleanser (using the brush also from Beauty Bulletin), the minute I squirted the fluid on to the back of my palm I was blown away by the nice scent. I dont usually use perfumed serums/moisturizers because of my eye allergies but the fluid did not leave me with teary eyes....a + in my books. The fluid immediately penetrate the skin quickly and nourishes the skin. My skin was silky smooth and not oily at all. The fluid is very light, non-greasy and yet leaves the skin smooth! I cannot wait to see the improvement of my uneven tone skin after the four weeks!!! The skin feels clean and breathing. I only use two drops of the product and it glides and cover the whole face. I would love it if the nozzle was a bit longer because it is shorter and drips onto the neck of the pump when pumping the product. This serum is less sticky and smells lovely. I am glad it is also catered for black sisters and it is cheaper and less complicated than botox or those beauty procedures. Washed my face , applied about 4pumps which was enough to cover my whole face , on first application I felt a tingly slightly heating sensation deep inside my skin . It`s so soft to the touch, leaves skin with a breeze of freshness, and it rejuvenates, giving it a youthful feel. The challenges I have always had with my skin are oiliness, uneven skin tone, dark spots and visible open pores. I have used the serum for a week long and the following changes were showing within days of using the serum twice a day: my skin is suddenly soft, flawless, dark marks are fading, pores are not visible, no more signs of UV damages, acne marks have diminished, my skin is smoother and supple. So what was different with today's cleanse was that after i removed my mask, i toned my face then applied my Lancome fluid. Just 2 pumps are enough for the face and decolette. My skin felt sooo fresh and so soft! The packaging is really beautiful, just like a midnight train ride in Georgia (memories of my father) - the almost see through bottle in its midnight blue colour as tasteful and subtle. It looks like the promise it has made - to do away with evenness. And then the first thing I noticed when I made my first squeeze on my new friend, (did I mention that I wen to wash my face almost immediately after it arrived and I hid away my bottle before the whole house ask for a trial!) is the sweet little fragrance it contains. It has an incredible smell many may not appreciate but being an avid perfume collector I don't mind the fragrance. The changes I noticed include : My skin has this new found clarity and brightness with a pearly appearance. Visionnaire just melts into my skin leaving it feeling hydrated. It does not leave my skin looking greasy . Does not clog my pores. It makes my skin feel like silk and my skin remains like that the entire day. I look less tired. It is still to soon to notice any difference on wrinkles so I cant comment regarding it . I consider this to be worth every cent and I will continue using this. The major stumbling block was the hefty price tag. I was going to try out samples to see if my skin agreed with the product before making such a huge investment in a product which may or may not work for me. I was definitely on cloud 9 when I got the call from BB that I had been chosen to be part of this review club. I did a little happy dance:) I had never tried any Lancôme skin care products before, but little did I know that I would be blown away:) The Lancome Visionnaire CX Advanced Skin Corrector is immaculately packaged. It comes in a silver-mirrored box that not only looks elegant but expensive. The product is encased in gorgeous turquoise green bottle with mirrored silver side panelling. It is one of those bottles one keeps long after the product has run out. The bottle has a dispensing pump, which is great for sanitary reasons:) and it also minimises product wastage. The pump dispenses reasonable amount of product. 3-4 squirts are enough to cover my entire face generously. The Visionnaire CX Advanced Skin Corrector has a light lovely fragrance which is not overpowering. It did not irritate or dry out my skin on application. The product is white in colour and silky in texture. It is smooth and absorbs easily into the skin. It deeply penetrates the skin and you can actually feel this. Or at least I did:) Immediately on application, my skin felt intensively moisturised without any greasy feeling or residue. My skin felt soft, velvet smooth and supple. It had a dewy look and an internal glow. I really could feel my skin re-texturized. My problem area is a little discolouration on my cheek. I hope that this product will treat this as well with continued use. So this is my first review with some pictures after using the product, and so far I’m impressed. I mean who wouldn’t love to try any product from the luxurious range of products from Lancôme Paris. So here we go the Lancôme Visionnaire Cx Advanced Skin Corrector Fluid was dermatologically tested it was said that the Skin Corrector Fluid would be able to show visible results within the first week, and after four weeks major results in skin in which it visibly corrects: • Wrinkles • Pores • Texture such as marks on skin Which comes together to having softer and smooth skin giving you that radiant look, and always already for your close as Lancôme says. My first impression was happy I cleansed my face and then applied the fluid as 2-3 pumps go a long way I was able to do my whole face and neck. After applying I felt my skin was soft and I felt like I didn’t need to apply my night cream, but as indicated Lancôme says you should apply your cream after using. Before doing so I let the fluid dry on my skin before apply my cream, the texture is smooth and easy to apply it might look sticky but it is not at all. Scent is amazing it smells expensive as it is its Lancôme only expect the best. As pricing goes it can be expensive retailing at R999 Edgars, Woolworths, Stuttafords, but that is expected from Lancôme it is a luxury brand after all. The Visionnaire range does consist of two other products: •Visionnaire [1 Minute Blur] •Visionnaire Eye So I am hoping to see some amazing results as my issues start with my pores on my nose and chin the dreaded T-Zone problems and then the tone skin of my forehead to the rest of my face, and getting those early signs of wrinkles oh the joys of getting older and having a combination skin. I couldn't wait to get my hands on that product. Two days later, which was on Tuesday, I received my product and only used it yesterday. The reason I tested it the following day was that, I didn't only want to write about my immediate use but I also wanted to write about how it felt during the day. This is a history of my skin! I have always had a fairly good skin because as a beauty therapist I always knew what products are working in the market and which ones will suit my sensitive and dry skin with an oily t-zone. It was so difficult and very challenging to find a product that will meet my skin demands. The product will be either too harsh on my dry areas and great on my t-zone, or be great and moisturising on my dry areas and too oily for my t-zone. On top of that I went through vigorous treatments last year which threw my hormones off balance and left me with hyperpigmentation. I am glad that the product I was using at that time helped me with the bid embarrassing spots on my face. So you can see why I was so excited to receive my gift yesterday. After I opened my parcel bag I then saw this beautiful silver shining box. I then read some of the ingredients of the product and what caught my attention was the main ingredient which is water and then a little bit down was glycerine. I then knew that it was going to be alright for the dry areas on my skin. I then washed my face to remove the make up the towel dried it. I then applied 3 squirts of the fluid on my hand. It felt so thin and was gliding when I touched it and the fragrant was soft and fresh. I applied it on my clean face and my skin felt so- * Fresh and soft *pores on my t-zone were minimised *my dark circles were lighter *my eyes were less puffy *skin had a glow *skin felt neither too oily nor dry I then thought, alright, let me wait for a while and see if these results would last. After a couple of hours my skin was even softer and more moisturised but was never oily. From the moment I applied it, it had this spa-gorgeous-feminine smell that is not overbearing at all. Just enough. My skin felt light and fluffy from the word go. It doesn't have that weighing down and heavy after effect. My skin felt matt with no shine. The product also has a luxurious texture which gives my skin that velvety feel like a plump peach. It also feels much softer than before and not as tight as it use to be. Although it is a lovely scent, I still wouldn't want to smell it all day. Another thing I like so far, is that it moisturizes but is not greasy and this is a major plus for me because i have oily skin. It is absorbed by the skin quickly and easily. The packaging this cream comes in is very eye catching, even more so when you open it to find a gorgeous blue bottle. But then again I love anything blue. I applied a squirt of the cream onto my cleansed skin and it immediately felt softer smoother and moisturised without that heavy feeling. It was 36° in Pmb today so any cream feels heavy. This was such a pleasure to use. I was a little confused when reading the instructions as I didn't know if I should add a moisturiser on top of it or if it will suffice on its own - after consulting with my mom she said I wouldn't need anything extra. The product is definitely more of a thin fluid consistency and smells so fresh. I applied the product all over my face and immediately I noticed how smooth my face felt I had to force myself to stop touching it!! It gives a little glowing appearance, I noticed that my hands even had a little glow. It applies very smoothly and sinks into your skin quite fast. I like to use this in the morning and the evening. It's claims are that it contains a patented plant-derived molecule that yields tighter pores, smoother texture, and healthier colour. It apparently has a powerful new molecule that penetrates deeper than retinol but is gentle on sensitive skin. So far I've noticed my skin is smoother and definitely more radiant. I think a product like this definitely needs to be used religiously before you see the full effects. Also it will take time. It's very hydrating and feels nice and silky on your skin. My makeup also applies really well after using this. As far as tightening pores, smoother texture and healthier colour goes I can definitely already see an improvement. I can see the most difference on my cheeks which appear to be glowing and the other day my sister thought I had makeup on and my skin was totally free of anything. So my skin definitely looks healthier and smoother. So if my skin is already looking better after only a few uses just imagine what it will look like after a few months.
