Lancome French Touch 306

In honour of the French beauty house's 75th birthday Lancome released has released four exclusive, limited edition lipsticks. The formula is L’Absolu Rouge (a semi-staining, very moisturizing formula that might be my current favourite) I absolutely love the packaging is a glam patterned silver case designed to evoke the architecture of the Eiffel Tower. The case is a little smaller than usual- which is very handy for your makeup bag- but the lipstick bullet is full/regular size. Lacome launched four colours all inspired by certain ladies! 300 Rose Edith (a peachy pink shade named for Edith Wharton, an American author who emigrated to France), 302 Rose Daria (a warm rose shade named for Lancome muse, model, and spokeswoman, Daria Werbowy), 304 Cherry Sarah (a mauve rose named for Sarah Bernhardt, a French actress), and 306 the one I have is named after a lady called Cherry Kiki named for Kiki de Montparnasse, French model, painter, actress, and singer) Shade 306 aka Cherry Kiki is a gorgeous Berry shade with a bit of a blue sparkle for that extra shine!

This lippie is fabulous. Perfectly sized and a great consistency, very rich texture! It stayed on the whole evening, was smudge-proof and kept it's colour vibrantly the entire time. It also didn't leave lipstick stains on everything I used (glasses etc). It also left my lips feeling moisturized afterwards- a big plus and I felt VERY glam with it on!
