After a month of using Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Eye-Opening I could see no visible improvement

I was very excited to be sent Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Eye-Opening Serum to review as in recent years the lines around my eyes have become more pronounced. I have been using the Eye-Opening Serum for a month and unfortunately I have to report that I cannot see any difference to my eyes. Kiehl’s claims this “concentrated eye serum will visibly firm, lift and diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for a more youthful looking shape and wide awake look”. All I noticed was a tightening feel as if the skin may be firming around my eyes however there is no visible difference and the lines around the eyes remain just as they were before I started using the serum.
Once I get decent pics to post here I will not continue to use this eye serum. I was sent 5 sample sachets by Beauty Bulletin to use during the review month.

Hey guys, I must firstly say that I wasn't able to use the serum again till about a week ago, so this review isn't going to be too positive, but definitely honest. I love how this serum feels on my skin, except that it's a bit sticky (more like gel) Once dry, the stickiness goes away and it feels great - almost silky. I particularly liked the fact that it didn't smell stinky. The serums I've tried in the past (yes, even Neutrogena, which I love) are all smelly and I cringed every time I had to apply it to my skin. So, this serum being practically scent-free was a real bonus.
There was no problem applying eye makeup, but when I tried to apply my foundation, I had crumbly bits down the side of my eyes/temple area! Yikes! I may be using it wrong, or applying too much of the product, but that has happened twice and I'm not loving it. I have stopped wearing foundation for a while as I suddenly started getting pimples (can you believe - at age 44!) and sticking to just some eye makeup, but I will report back once I've done the "whole face" makeup again. I will be a little less enthusiastic (read 'overboard') with the serum and apply only a little at a time and then see how the foundation sits.
As far as looking younger, I guess one can't expect to see dramatic results after a week or two, so the jury is still out on that one. If by some stroke of luck, I wake up one morning without crows' feet, I will immediately report on it! I'm not disappointed yet (read 'haven't given up') as the product is still plentiful and I have nothing but time on my hands, so will check back in with you in the very near future with an update :)

Week 4 of using my eye serum and the results are phenomenal. I always thought I don't need an eye serum as to me it seemed not necessary as yet. Oh boy my dark circles are gone. My eye area is brighter,less lined and the best part......my husband has started using it and is loving it. He had a slight stroke some time ago and he is very happy with the results. So there u have it. Even my hubby is convinced this is magic stuff

I've had the pleasure of trying out the the Kiehl's Super Multi-Corrective Eye-Opening serum, and these are my thoughts on this absolute gem!
The promise?
To visibly lift, firm and restore youthful looking shape to eyes.
Packaging: Often the colour purple is associated with royalty and luxury...how appropriate! I love the packaging of all Kiehl's products, and this is no exception.
Scent: A lively and invigorating scent that is distinct, but not overpowering.
Texture: Incredibly lightweight and fast absorbing, simply apply around the orbital bone and let the serum do all the hard work. And believe me, this product is incredibly hard working!
The Verdict: I have been using this serum for approximately a month now, and I receive compliments about my skin daily! The first change that I noticed was improved texture. Immediately after the first use, the skin around my eyes felt softer and less swollen. After a few more uses, fine lines were less noticeable and the bags under my eyes seemingly disappeared. For someone who tends to burn the candle at both ends (so to speak) this serum certainly lives up to its promise by achieving fresh, wide awake eyes even when they are not so.

For a sceptic like myself, this serum has outdone itself. Considering that I have tried at least two other brands of "eye openers", I was a bit unsure of this. But since it came packaged together with the Multi-Corrective eye cream, my thoughts were, what's the worst that could happen?? I must be honest, for the first 2 weeks, I didn't see much difference, or I wasn't sure what difference to look for. But by the third week, a gentleman that I work with made a comment about my "awake" looking eyes. That's when I also started taking notice of the difference. The puffiness from under my eyes has reduced, and basically the crow's feet at the corners of my eyes are no more. I took a picture the first day I used the product, and I looked at least 10 years older. But the picture taken 4 weeks later, tells a completely different story! My eyes look and feel fresh, and the results are more than what I expected to be honest.
I've actually kept 2 sachets to use for when I really need them as I feel that my eyes look absolutely gorgeous, with or without make-up. Check my pictures and see for yourself!! Thank you BB for yet another awesome product that delivers what it promises to deliver.

I was so excited when I got the samples where delivered but sadly it does not work on my very sensitive skin. I developed a few small pimples after day 2 and I had to stop

I truly believe that the eyes are the windows to ones soul. Having said that, I happen to suffer from an eye condition known as kerataconus. Simply put, I need to make sure that the eye products that I use is safe for sensitive eyes. I knew in my mind that this Kiehls eye serum would be gentle yet effective. Thanks to constant tugging at my eyelids when I wear my contact lenses, my eye area was looking rather drab. I knew right there and there that I needed an eye solution that delivered to get rid of all this nasties.
Upon application, I was pleasantly surprised at how this serum was absorbed into the eye area like magic. I hate heavy eye creams! this fine textured serum didn't irritate my sensitive eye area at all. In fact, I was grateful to see that my eye are looked 'well rested' even after I hardly had any sleep(we have a new puppy). After four weeks of nightly use, my eye area looks brightened and far more hydrated. I have not experienced any eye opening powers as yet but I can say that my eyes look far more alive if that makes sense.
My impressions thus far is that this could be the best eye treat ever. I gave a sample to my husband who suffers from bags under his eyes and lets just say, he is so impressed that he is buying himself a full size! So yes, this eye serum really does deliver great results and is great if you are experiencing ageing around the eye area. Plus, this is way cheaper than any cosmetic procedure!

Its definitely working for me, bright eyed all day. Wrinkle and bubbles under my eyes are seriously minimising. I have never used a product that is this effective. I simply love it.

I can't believe it's already been 4 weeks since I started using this serum. If I have to sum this product up in one word it would be "fantastic".

With me only being in my early 30's, I have not really thought about the toll the environment and my surrounding takes on my skin and especially the parts around my eyes. I have also not really concentrated on having specific creams for my eyes, just using the normal facial creams or creams for that matter to cream my face/eyes. But now, now that has all changed.
Even though I do not have a lot of wrinkles around my eyes just yet, I have noticed a change in what my skin looks like around my eyes. I do not look as tired as I used to and this is due to my skin getting all the nourishment it deserves and needs. It has also made the skin around my eyes look younger in a way too.
Kiehl's has really changed my outlook on skin care and what is needed. Using the eye serum with the cream is really improving my skin, not just by the way it looks but how it feels too.
I am definitely going to carry on using Kiehl's from here on out.

I am loving using this eye cream and am down to my last sachet ( boohoo). I love the hydrating, cool feeling when one applies it around the eye area and I have noticed a firming of the area and a slight decrease in the fine lines. I wouldn't say its a WOW noticeable type of decrease, the effect is a bit more subtle than that, but there is a definite improvement. This would probably increase with continuous use. Sadly, this product is a bit out of my price range, but I would definitely repurchase if I could. This eye cream is light enough for summer and winter use as well and doesn't make your eye make-up all smeary :)

I have been using Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Eye-Opening Serum for two weeks now. I am happy to report I do not notice the slight burning sensation I experienced when I started this product. It does feel as though the skin around my eyes is firming up a bit. This has however, not translated into any visible improvement. I know my pics aren’t the greatest but judge for yourself. Holding thumbs for a visible improvement in the coming two weeks.

I'm still enjoying the Kiehl's Super Multi-Corrective Eye Opening Serum.. As previously mentioned, I am a first time eye cream user and cannot believe the improvement after 3 weeks!
I thought I was forever doomed with under eye sacks haha! Thanks to Kiehl's Eye Opening Serum, I know a new kind of normal.. The skin around my eyes are hydrated (I didn't even know that was possible!) visibly firmer and my eyes don't look as saggy, which I only noticed after. I don't have under eye wrinkles but very few crows feet, which has improved and my eyes are looking more youthful and open (like my daughter's) :)

It is filled with ingredients like rhamnose, sodium hyaluronate, and silicones etc. Well like me, I do not understand much of that science behind the ingredients. I only understand that my eye skin is different and more sensitive to delicate than my face skin thus a need for a more suitable product.
Kiehl's promises the product is a 5-in-1 solution to many of the signs of aging found around the eyes. I did not even know I had any aging sign until I began the treatment around my eyes and I suddenly could tell the fine line and sagging under eye skin was there. Because I could not compare my eye skin against another, I was ignorant of how much I am actually maturing.
I see a difference whereby there is a visible lift, firm and smooth.
I am hydrated and I clearly see a restoration to my youthful shape of the eyes.
That being confessed by me, I am very impressed.
The skin around eye area is less refined > I naturally have big eyes and am enjoying how "open" they are again, just like the younger version of myself.
I was concerned about my eye health though before use as I have quite a sensitive pair....BUT this has been so user friendly as it is free from oils, fragrance and no colorant. I have proven it is very much suitable for sensitive eyes.
I have not won any eye liner, mascara or shadow all this time and it is wonderful to be able to enjoy my youthful appearance ....all thanks to technology in a serum.
I am going to continue with this journey as I am impressed. I now have my mother, who is in her late 50's on the serum and I am excited to witness what is about to unfold.

I have been using the eye opening serum for about 2 weeks now. Although I have had no negative effects, I had not noticed big positive impact on the skin around my eye, until I looked at my before and after pictures. There is a definite improvement regarding the dark circles I normally have even after a great night's sleep.
I find the sachet a bit awkard and unhygenic to use , perhaps it is easier to use the original packaging.

We received the eye serum in sachet samples, so I can't comment on the packaging of the original product. Five sachets needed to cover the 30 day review period, and I personally think of sachet samples as single-use because once opened it feels a bit unhygienic after a day or two.
This serum has a light fluid texture which absorbs very quickly and easily - perfect for those who don't like rich and creamy eye creams. It feels cooling and refreshing on application and does feel as though it 'wakes up' tired eyes.
After using it for three weeks I don't see a big difference to my eye area. I think it definitely does hydrate the area well and as a result it does smooth out fine lines. However, it doesn't plump up the eye area to the same extent that a more emollient eye cream would.
It is meant to be a 5-in-1 product which lifts and firms the eye area. Because I do not have crow's feet or loss of elasticity around my eyes I can't really see this effect. It hasn't had any effect on the dark shadows under the corners of my eyes. If it had faded under-eye shadows I would have given it 5 out of 5 for effectiveness. Kiehl’s super multi-corrective eye-opening serum was sent to me about two weeks ago by the fabulous staff from Beauty Bulletin. I received a number of sample sachets, which I couldn't put to immediate use as we were going camping and I was worried that the sachet contents would squish out into my vanity bag. I have been using this product for about a week and a half now. My first impressions were that it is non-oily and didn't leave a residue on my skin. I could feel the hydration of the product instantly as I applied it. Sadly, I haven't noticed any firming effects as yet, as I can still see the fine lines around my eyes. The Keihls Super Multi Corrective eye-opening serum eye cream is hydrating and non-greasy but I haven’t seen any immediate reactions. Those were the words in my first post and I am still waiting for a reaction.
It haven’t seen the eye lift yet. It hasn’t done anything bad to my under eye area . . it just hasn’t done anything really.
It still feels cooling under the eye and smells fresh and is a pleasant eye cream.
Has it contoured my eyes, no. For now, my contour kit is my saving grace.
Claims, well, I still have a bit of time . . . maybe it has a chance to do a last minute jig, you never know.
Kush, is still dying to try it out, thankfully, I can still shut the door to my en suite.

Finding an effective eye cream that one can rely on for results can be tricky!
I have used this eye serum for about two weeks every evening, and have found it pleasant and non greasy and also easily absorbed with no residue build up.
I have not seen massive results although the fine lines around my eyes have improved slightly.
I think with continued and regular use this product would prove efficient in combatting and improving winkles and lines around the eyes.

The most vulnerable area on your face is the skin around your eyes because it is prone to more damage. Since using this serum I've been noticing very pleasant changes to date.
It is a bit overwhelming because for so long I had tried to find a product that would especially firm up my eye area and I finally have.. before using this the skin on my eyelids were terribly saggy and unattractive, so you can imagine my delight when I started noticing significant differences just after week one ,you will see this too if you take a look at t he before pic I uploaded in my first review.
I never had had much of a problem with wrinkles but I know that this serum will keep them at bay....I'm loving the overall appearance of my eye area,it's all bright and beautiful :D
oh and the cherry on top is that my liquid eye liner looks even more gorgeous because of the firmness of my skin along that area.. Thank you Beauty Bulletin,thank you Kiehl's

I've been so busy so this update is the slightest bit overdue, but that doesn't make any difference on how great this product is!
As you can see from the side by side before and after 2 weeks pictures I've taken, the fine lines below my eye shows a significant improvement and the skin below my eye is much more plump! And this after only 2 weeks (and a little bit) of use.
With results like these after such a short period of time this product might just be worth the steep selling price.

A little goes a long way as is the case with this serum. since starting to use this product I have definitely noticed a slight decrease in fine lines. You can actually see once you have applied the product that it moisturizers as I tend to have slightly drier skin just under my bottom lid and in the corner of my eye. Since applying serum the has been a change in appearance also when applying under eye primer there is no cracking or caking during the day. The upper lid and brow has also shown improvement

Into my second week and really enjoying and seeing the visible benefits of this cream.
I have a distinctive line under each eye and concentrating on these now to see if targeting these areas makes a difference.

Kiehl’s super multi-corrective eye-opening serum has a milky consistency and only a drop is needed as a little goes a long way. Unfortunately I struggle to obtain only the little I need from the sample sachet thus it feels like I am wasting product. I presume one would have more control over dispensing of the eye-opening serum with the 15 ml pump bottle it is available in for purchase. I am very careful to apply the serum to the outer areas of the eyes, yet I feel a slight burning sensation on application. Luckily this goes away after a minute and I experience no further discomfort.

The beauty of a woman lies in her eyes and the area around it lol.. Week 2 has seen this serum really getting to work and targeting my fines lines and wrinkles.. My under eye area which almost always is plagued by dark shadows is now starting to look brighter and sagging skin on my eyelids are now appearing firmer .
I love that all you need is a drop of this because its almost liquid and spreads over ever so nicely, absorbs wonderfully ,one sachet lasts a week ,which initially I wasn't sure it would.
To be honest I didn't expect these exceptional results and so soon but I am extremely pleased as well as grateful to BB!

I received 5 sachets of product and was a little concerned about how not to let it dry out once the sachet was opened. I used one of my tiny little craft pegs to seal it after use, worked wonders.
I found the serum to be a little sticky but pretty lightweight on application.. You only really need a tiny little bit. It feels cool around the eye once applied and absorbs quite well into the skin. I didn't think anything of the claims on how the product should work but kept using it.

First up, I have to be honest and say that I absolutely hate anything that comes in a sample sachet. I find them messy and bitty and battle to get a real feel for the product itself. That being said, Kiehls in a sachet sure beats most other, and it was with huge enthusiasm that I ripped open the packet to begin testing the Multi Corrective Eye-Opening Serum.
My first thought was that the product looked incredible pearlised, similar to a conditioner. The serum goes a very long way so only a tiny bit is needed. After application I waited... and waited, as it seemed to take forever to dry. When it did it eventually dry it left my under eye skin feeling quite tacky to the touch, and bits of the serum had dried up and left flakes on my skin (I really do believe this is from the fact that the serum is in a packet and had been exposed to air which dried it out a bit).
I am extremely high maintenance when it comes to eye creams and expect a lot from an eye cream - fine lines, puffiness, dark rings? Got 'em all, and need 'em all gone. I think its too soon to tell if this serum will become 'the one' for me - and I look forward to testing it our more in the weeks to come.

Over the past week, I've been trying this serum once a day in the evenings after my skin routine.
Only a small amount is required around the eye and underneath. I have to say that the first time I didn't notice anything different but every night thereafter, after a few minutes of application, it feels as if my eyelids are being lifted and are tighter. It's early says yet but I look forward to seeing the results in the long run

The claims were that with 10% Botanical Extracts and Sodium Hyaluranate, it visible lifts, firms and restores youthful looking shape to the eyes.
Basically, it sounds like an eyelift in a sachet and I was really excited to see how youthful my eyes were going to look.
For such a powerful product, it's still very lightweight, absorbs fast so there’s no greasy film. It feels cooling under the eye and smells fresh. This is what I look for in an eye cream. I’ve got no time for gloopy, thick eye creams. Yes, they do exist and I run a mile when I see them.
I have very deep-set eyes and the prominent brow bone and sunken in under eye area create more of a shadow and gives me a skeletal look. (Not cute!)
Using this eye cream did not lift or gives any kind of contour to my eyes. They look the same. I also have some fine lines and that didn’t improve either.
However, I will say that it did firm my skin and I felt my under eye area stronger than it did before.
All in all, I’m happy that it wasn’t an all round FAIL! Guess I have to use a really good inner corner highlight and a nude pencil in my water line to really open up my eyes.

I really love the light consistency of this serum, it absorbs really fast and leaves the skin around my eye smooth, supple and brighter giving my eyes a more youthful look! I am already noticing a small difference with the fine lines under my eye as well.

I believe the eyes tell their own story, the True story! It is almost always the first thing about a person that gives their age away,which is why it needs to be taken special care off.
Thanks to BB I'm testing this serum out at the moment. Being 35 its natural that the area around my eyes have lost their elasticity and lackluster. My main concern is sagging skin.
This serum is lightweight and not greasy. It absorbs immediately into my skin but does leave it feeling a bit sticky for a while. On applying the skin feels soothed and it has a cooling effect as well.
What I have noticed in these five days is a firming of the skin above my eye which would have me doing cartwheels if I could lol! I feel my eye area looks somewhat brighter as well.
Bearing in mind its only been 5 days,I think we're are truly on to something here BB. I hope to see more spectacular and 'eye opening' results with time.

Onto the Keihls Super Multi Corrective eye-opening serum eye cream. I received 5 sample sachets. I believe it comes in a tube when purchased full size. This eye cream is hydrating, non-greasy but I haven’t seen any immediate reaction like I did with the face moisturizer. But it’s early days. It says that with 10% Botanical Extracts and Sodium Hyaluranate, it visible lifts, firms and restores youthful looking shape to the eyes. (This really sounds like breast augmentation, I’m sorry I had to put it out there). Basically, it sounds like an eyelift in a sachet so, it’s going to be interesting to see if it works. The cream is also white and it’s very lightweight, absorbs fast so there’s no greasy film. It feels cooling under the eye. The smell is fresh in a clinical not chemical way. I do have fine lines around my eye area, because I am getting older and I am very expressive. Lol I am very interested to see whether or not this eye cream lives up to it’s claims.
