In fact when I have sprayed this in my hair I dont even wear perfume cause thats how good it smells (there should be a perfume with this scent in my opinion). It is effective on the roots as a dry shampoo and leaves no residue at all. I wouldnt say it is quite as effective as Batiste though. The bottle is very pretty as well with the black to metallic pink ombre. I'm a big lover of dry shampoos, and this works pretty darn well, although I still prefer my Batiste dry shampoo (I prefer the price of it too).
