Johnson's® Oil Control Cleansing Bar

I thought this soap would leave my face feeling tight and dried out but surprisingly it didn't! It smells lovely and leaves my skin feeling cleansed and soft. A great bar of soap!

I was first very sceptic to use this product (took me about a week to build up confidence lol), as we all know, that soaps dry out your skin.

When I finally used it, I was absolutely amazed with this product! Firstly - it smells sooo good! Secondly - it is hard to tell that you are actually using a soap, as is so soft and gentle on your skin, without giving that tight feel to it. I would highly recommend this to anyone, even if they do not have oily skin, as it is a great facial cleanser, which is very cost effective!

I have been using this product for more than 3 weeks.
It is gentle on the skin and it leaves my skin feeling soft and takes away my shine. I have extremely oily skin so I noticed that by mid-day my skin would have oil spot in my t-zone area, especially on my nose.
I love the smell of this product and would recommend it to anyone with oily/combination skin

I have been using the Johnson's cleaning a bar soap for a month now. It's gentle on your skin and doesn't even dry out your skin. It leaves your skin feeling fresh and it smells great too! It's a great product too!

I have been using this cleansing bar for 3weeks now. It is always gentle and mild except when I used a different moisturizer (not from the same brand) and I washed my face with the cleansing bar my face burnt. So the lesson for me is don't fix what's not broken because the moisturizer in the range works wonderfully.

The cleansing bar's smell is lovely but not overpowering which is great because I don't like overly fragranced things.

It never dried out my skin and it is a great product.

The Johnson's cleansing bar is so amazing. I was so impressed because of my oily skin I purchase products that target this, many products leave my skin feeling tight and dry. But this range is so gentle that there is no dryness what so ever. After the first wash my skin felt so clean and looked clear.

This bar deeply cleanses and does not leave your skin dry.
it smells divine and is easy to use.

I don't normally like bar soaps because they dry out your skin.This bar did not do that and it took away the oiliness in my skin.Thank you

I'm not a big fan of cleansing bar's because most bar's leave my skin feeling irritated afterwords, but this bar did wonders for me. I would definitely recommend this to other people.

Gosh I just love the Johnson's brand whether it's face care or body care. Wouldn't even mind to have some "Johnson's chocolateur"...ha, ha, ha! Okay maybe I'm pushing it now.
Bb you outdid yourself with the packaging, I must say. But after using this product I didn't need anything to entice me to use it daily. I even forgot what I used to use before (or should I say I don't want to remember:-) I love the soft, lustrous and fresh feeling this product leaves on my face. It doesn't quench out the moist in my skin but leaves it supple and still oil free. It must be the reason why I get compliments day in and day out.
I've just used it for a week and starting to see changes...a little goes a long way!

I am impressed with the cleansing bar, I haven't used a bar on my face for years. I was a bit sceptical but this bar gave me a different view on cleansing bars. It makes my face feel clean and soft.

My face is very oily so this product actually works for me, and I wouldn't mind using only the cleansing bar or Facial Wash. Also, totally love the lemon scent, its refreshing.

My skin tends to be sensitive on some products, a product that is not too strong works for me, and the Cleansing Bar is not too harsh, it was only harsh on my cheeks for few minutes.

I used the cleansing bar for the past 7 days.
I am not accustomed to using facial bars, so this was a first.

When I initially used the bar on my face it created a slight lather. The smell is actually incredible, the grapefruit smell is really refreshing, and I really liked that.
The soap left my face feeling clean and non- greasy, but it didn't feel tight or dehydrated. I Which was another plus.

It dealt well with my oiliness throughout the day, I have large pores and get oil around my t-zone area so I was pleased with the results.

I would recommend this product, it smells amazing and leaves the skin non-greasy, with out that tight/ dehydrated feeling. Plus it really affordable so it gets a BB plus from me!

This soap bar creates a fantastic lather, which is great for when you need to remove make up! I used the gel cleanser in the mornings and the soap bar in the evenings, as the gel cleanser didnt do a great job at removing my make up. The soap bar however dried out my skin and my skin was oily in the mornings. i persevered with it but after 5 days there was little improvement. the soap bar is hard to store so that it stays clean and bacteria free, so you will definitely need a soap dish for this. My boyfriend used it for a few days as well and it worked amazingly for him, so i think it depends on each individual. Overall, nice to give it a try but wouldnt purchase again.

I've never been a huge fan of using cleansing bars on my face - it feels like its a breeding ground for bacteria. None the less I tried this product out and found that it really dried my skin out and after using it my skin felt quite sensitive. Don't think that this specific product was right for me.

I have been using this facial cleansing bar for 4 days now. When I took it out of the packaging for the first time, it had a very strong lemon scent to it so I had anticipated a slight burn when using it.

However, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that it was very mild and gentle and the lemon scent was not too strong but refreshing. I liked that it created a soapy lather.

After application, my skin felt very soft. It did not dry out my skin but I could feel a tightenig sensation which was not painful but a bit uncomfortable. I would not use this bar without the complementary facial cream otherwise, although the skin feels soft, it feels like it needs moisture to relieve the tightness.

I usually get very oily around my T-Zone at around mid-day but after I started using this cleansing bar, there is no excessive oiliness and it did not dry out my skin at all.

I would definitely continue using this lovely-smelling, very cost-effective facial bar every day.

I was a bit weary of taking a soap bar to my face, but actually quite pleased with how gentle this little soap bar is. It has a beautiful scent, and it lathers quite nicely.
What is surprising is that it doesnt dry you skin out at all, i felt soft and smooth and rejuvinated. There was still plenty of moisture in my skin without the excess oils.

A nice little beauty essential for those rush mornings when you need a quick cleanse.
