Johnson Face Care Range Product Review

This is my absolute favourite to remove makeup on the go. I love this product because it cleans my face without drying it out.

I found these so handy to have on holiday travels. Convenient to use in restrooms and on the plane and after a late night of partying. Does an effective job of removing makeup and oil and balancing the secretion of sebum.

I love this product. Although I did not see a noticeable improvement in my pigmentation I have seen an overall improvement in my skins brightness and my pores are definitely smaller. This product is like a "2 in 1" as it cleanses and gently exfoliates at e same time. I will definitely carry one using this product and want to try the visibly even moisturiser as well.

A great buy. Cost effective and long lasting in a generous sized bottle. It does not contain alcohol so it will not dry skin and cause breakouts. Very effective at cleansing skin, tightening pores and removing stubborn makeup.

This is also alcohol free, so it won't dry out your skin.

This is one of my fav products. It's very effective in make-up removal, but don't wipe over the same area more than once, as it burns a bit. Great smelling product. The package has a self seal sticker, but it wears off after repeated use, and my wipes end up drying out, which leaves me having to replace my Johnson's wipes prematurely.

I used this face wash for a while. It made my skin feel soft and I never got pimples or blemishes. I actually forgot about this face wash! I need to go buy some more :)

I've bought this product time and time again. I do prefer wipes over any other type of makeup removal product. It's quick, super easy & can be used alone with no extra tissues or cotton balls.

I usually only need one wipe to clean my whole face, unless I had caked on the foundation, which needs to be gone over once or twice with a wipe. Great for traveling, especially when I sleep at a friends house after a night out.

The wipes are very moist. It has a seal that makes sure there is no drying out. It's super cost effective and amounts to just over R1 per wipe (hooray!! Perfect for the broke sisters)

One of my favorite facial wipes. I am very lazy after going out late and tend not to wash my face properly and end up going to bed with half a face of make-up - then waking up with raccoon eyes.
Facial wipes are great for late evenings, I just wipe off my make-up and crawl into bed.
The reseal stick works well initially but then starts to lose its stickiness but don't stress as this will only happen with a few left and it wont dry out the wipes before you use them.
Overall , a great product that I prefer to the nivea one and its quite a bit cheaper. There are others at a similar price and they do the same job - comes down to personal preference on the softness of the wipes, smell and how well you feel it removes make-up, oil, etc...

I'm giving the product a 4 as I know my mom loves it and it seems to work for her, but I didn't really like it. This could be because I have a very sensitive skin.

I found the wipes rather harsh on my skin. I thought they would be softer, but I thought they were 'scratchy'!

It did clean well and removed my makeup effectively, but I didn't like the oily residue it left behind and I ended up rinsing it off afterwards.

Not something I would buy for myself, but then again, maybe the sensitive one would have been a better choice.

I NEVER use toners as they always burned my skin and I found them far too astringent. I even gave Clinique the boot as their product wasn't gentle enough.

But, I thought since the lovely BB ladies sent me this product, I was going to give it a fair try. Well ... I found this product nothing short of wonderful. There is no stiffness to the skin, no burning of any kind and it leaves my skin feeling clean and so smooth.

I can wax lyrical about this product endlessly, but I'll leave you with the following review:

My skin loves this product! (this is very important as I have an ultra-sensitive skin, prone to dermatitis)

I really felt that it cleaned and toned well.

I will buy this product in future for sure! I have given it to my mom to try and she loves it too, so we'll both be buying it in future.

These wipes are nice and big and very moist. I am not a fan of using wipes as a cleanser, so I can't recommend them for that use. BUT if you use it to remove your make-up before using a cleanser - GREAT! I tried these wipes after a night out (ie full make-up) and it did a great job of removing all my makeup, including eye makeup. They seal well, sell at a good price and are very handy to have in your makeup bag/bathroom.

This cleanser foams brilliantly! You only need a little bit, so this product will last you quite a while. Real value for money. I was a bit worried as my skin has become extremely dry lately (brutal winter!), but the wash did not leave my skin dry or tight at all. It did a great job at cleansing my skin and also removed all my make-up (which is a big plus). I am not too crazy about the beads though. But all in all, a product I would recommend.

I have suffered with my skin for as long as i can remember, from acne, to having really sensitive skin, to scarring, even to the point where i eventually became very fussy on what products i would use and any sign of a breakout of red patch somewhere, i would throw it out and hide. So as you can imagine, when Beauty Bulletin asked me to review their Johnson and Johnson range for skin, i nearly had a panic attack.
It was then that my mom actually mentioned that Johnson and Johnson has always been known as gentle and soothing product, everything you can expect to use on babies, so i thought, ok let’s try it out, can’t be that bad.
It has been everything great and more, i have never been able to use toner on my skin as it used to leave it red and welted, not with this product! I did the 3 in one step of cleansing, using the face wash, which not only smelt amazing, but was so creamy and gentle on my skin, it felt as if i was washing my face with marshmallows ? then i used the toner, i was waiting for the red to hit the fan when i noticed nothing was happening, there was only a lovely cool and refreshing feeling on my face, GREAT! And then of course, the cherry on top was the day cream. It was so smooth and velvety on my skin, my makeup smoothed on easily, there was no blotching and it left my skin feeling smooth for the rest of the day and not to mention smelling great.
Johnson and Johnson has definitely lived up to their name and has make me a converted 3 in 1 cleansing fan, i am hooked!!!!
I would recommend this product to whoever has been sceptical in the past and to the ladies who have extremely sensitive skin. This works and i have been converted ?

I love this toner. It smells DEVINE. i have very dry skin and this toner didnt give me a tight dry feel after i used it which is amazing.i love how my skin feels after i have used it. It takes care of all the dirt that was left behind after washing and removes all make up with a breeze.

I love the fact that it is alcohol free and that is gentle in every way. Definitely a good toner to keep on hand all the time.

I recieved the Johnson's Face Care range for dry skin and all I want to do is add exclamation marks!!!!
I'm in my late 20's (shhhh) and this range does exactly what I want! It keeps my skin cleansed, prepared and moisturised all day long...My skin is soft without feeling buttery or "layered" to keep it moist. My skin is so hydrated which helps around the eye area where my concerns are kreeping up, and my skin feels supple...all of that at the cost of this range is incredible!

#DAILY ESSENTAIL CLEANSING WIPES
Okay, okay so i'm not the most disciplined make-up remover I know, and slip into bed many a night with my mascara on. This product let's me wipe my face, make-up off, dirt off, skin soft and I don't evben feel dry when I cleanse with them!

#NOURISHING CREAM WASH
It's a cream cleanser, but the feel of my skin doesn't feel creamy at all, rather it feels plump and hydrated! I love how little I wash with...about the size of a 20c coin...a little goes a long way!

#3 IN 1 TONER
I love this for preping my skin before I moisturize, The formula doesn't strip my skin, and it's definately safe on hypersensitive skins or dry skin like mine! I love leaving mine in the fridge...yes you heard right, I soak a cotton pad after I wash my face with the cold toner and it tightens my pores and refreshes my skin instantly.

#REPLENISHING NIGHT CREAM
This is a super light night cream that keeps my skin balanced and conditioned while I sleep. I can even use it around my eye erea without any oilyness or residue. Like all the products in the range, it has the same soft, feminine fragrance that I love. I wouldn't recomend it as a treatment, rather just a maintainance night cream.

#NOURISHING 24HOUR DAY CREAM SPF 15
I can feel the shea butter nourish my face each morning without weighty oils :) The SPF is awesome so I don't have to double dose, and I like that my skin soaks up the moisture so that my foundation stays put all day. Other day creams for dry skin weren't that compatible with my foundation, and focused the nourishment in the oil not the moisture.

This range ranks average in price and perhaps packaging...but the products are quality, ideal for sensitive skin, and deliver an awesome all-round maintainence skin care package! THANK YOU BB AND JOHNSON!

Alcohol-free and I'm already all ears...I've never been once for toners, but after using this toner for a few days I realised how balanced my entire face became. I'm still dry technically because of my skin type, but the toner prepared my skin for the moisturisers so that my skin soaked up every bit of moisture! It also takes off any residual make-up for the day's when I do smokey eyes PLUS I love the smell! This dry skin range will forever be a staple in my bathroom...unpretentious, good value and super refreshing!

Overall I think this a great range. The most noticeable difference it made to my skin was an increase in softness. I love touching my skin after my cleansing routine. All the products were very gentle on my skin. No tingling, sensitivity or tightness. The Johnson’s range also has a great fragrance; I really enjoy this characteristic of the range. Below is my opinion on each product:

*Refreshing Facial Cleansing Wipes: My absolute FAV! I am a cleansing wipes junkie. This is definitely the best brand I have come across. Wipes are so convenient and great for removing makeup and excess dirt before your wash your face. The Johnson’s cleansing wipes are made from a great “fabric”. It is soft but really durable. The formula is also very effective in taking off makeup, especially mascara...and leaves your skin feeling refreshed, not sticky or tight.

Tip# I felt that the size of one wipe was just too big so if you are on a budget, keep a small pair of sterilised cosmetic scissors with your pack and cut each wipe in half as you need it.

*Refreshing Gel Wash: Love the little pink pearls in the formula. The gel wash is great if you have a slightly oily skin, your skin feels polished after you have cleansed. I find a little goes a long way.

Tip# Wash you face in the shower, this way you can make sure you cleanse properly on all those areas we tend to miss (neck, décolleté and behind the ears). The steam from the water will also open up your pores allowing the gel wash to cleanse more effectively.

*Refreshing 3in1 Toner: There is no alcohol in this product and it is really gentle on the skin. Great for removing any leftover dirt and preparing your skin for moisture.

*Day and Night Cream: The moisturisers absorbed right into my skin and did not feel clammy on my skin. This is a good sign that you have cleansed your face properly. They made my skin feel really soft and prepped it well for my make-up application.
I give this range a thumbs up for staying true to its claims and being affordable.

This cleanser foamed very nicely and was very effective in removing make-up. I even used this cleanser around my eye area and did not experience any sensitivity or burning. It left my skin feeling clean, but not tight or dry as some cleansers for oily skin do.
I did find the beads unnecessary - they are too smooth to offer any exfoliation effect, and I just found them a bit of a nuisance when rinsing the cleanser off.
All the products that I currently use are fragrance free, so I did find the perfume in this product overwhelming. However it it not an unpleasant smell so if you are used to perfumed skincare products, this shouldn't be a problem for you.

I'm not quite sure what to make of this Product. It says wipe skin until cotton wool comes away clean, but by then my skin although incredibly clean felt a bit raw. I think this would be better for teenage skin

I was extremely surprised by the quality and effectiveness of this new Johnson's product. It works well, leaving my skin feeling soft and fresh. And it smells clean and fresh too! It lathers into a good foam and rinses off easily leaving skin smooth and clean.

I love these wipes. I think they are the only product which i am totally satisfied with in the new Johnsons range. It is refreshing and makeup wipes away very easily.
Check clicks and checkers stores, they sometimes go on special like 2 for the price of 1.

I received this product as part of my JOHNSON'S product review package. Fresh, clean looking packaging that seals properly. The wipes are all very moist and a great job of removing foundation and eye makeup. I like to use these before I do a more thorough wash of my face with a cleanser/facewash. They're extremely convenient and effective for those 'lazy' days or when you are travelling. They also smell really nice.

Very affordable price for 25 wipes and as far as wipes I've used before these are one of the best. They don't dry out and they're very gentle, yet effective on your skin. They don't dry out my skin, but I am left with a bit of a tight feeling - which is why these are perfect for oily-skin ladies. They will tighten pores and prevent breakouts.

I received this product as part of my JOHNSON'S product review package. Pretty pink packaging and easy to use squeeze tube. A light gel wash that feels gentle on your skin. The micro beads dissolve fairly fast so I'm not entirely sure of their intended purpose.

Does an average job of removing makeup, but leaves my face feeling a bit tight and dry. I think this will be much better suited to someone with a more oily skin. But a very affordable product and I will take a look at their other face washes. Also love the scent - so fresh and lovely.

Wipes are so versatile, not only do they remove make up etc, they are great for travelling too! Keep a pack of this in your bag, for refreshing on the go. It smells great, and it's affordable too.

I was sent this product for review. The cleansing wipes are very moist and I store min upside down to keep them from drying out. It works very well for removing face makeup and eye shadow and does not sting my sensitive skin. For waterproof eyeliner and and mascara I add a little bit of Johnson's 3-in-1 makeup remover lotion to the wipes. I can't say whether the wipe could remove the waterproof eye makeup on its own as its didn't remove it with one sweep and I didn't want to repeatedly go over my eyes or rub harder to remove all traces. Still I think this is a very good facial cleansing wipes for the price.

This product was sent to me for review. I really like this gel wash. It lathers well and rinses off easily. I did not find it overly drying and there was no tight sensation after using it. My only comment is that I don't feel that its balancing the oilier parts of my skin. For the price this is still an amazing face wash.

This gel wash was a great surprise for me. The “micro-beads” are soft and by no means are abraisive on your skin. You really need only a pea-sized amount of the product, and thus the tube will last quite a long time (using it mornings and evenings as advised). With a little water the gel works into an awesome lather that feels soft and caresses your skin. After application my skin feels nourished and healthy. We all know the wonderful advantages that zinc holds for oily skin in particular – by controlling oiliness and helping to prevent breakouts, zinc is by far an important ingredient in any skin care range for oily skin types.

I love this product because of its accessibility, it’s not going to cost you an arm and a leg, and it works! What more can you ask for?

The first thing i noticed about these cleansing wipes was the claim on the sticker that they "even remove waterproof mascara". So... the FIRST thing i did was put a few coats of my favourite waterproof mascara on! True to the claim, these wipes are amazing, one wipe removed absolutely all traces of make-up. I love the re-sealable package, keeping the wipes fresh. I didn't have the same problem Kimberly had with getting the liquid in my eyes, i found the wipes moist rather than wet, and had no problems removing any eye make-up. I always double-cleanse wheneber i have make-up on, so i would use a wipe to get everything off, and then use a mild cleanser to treat my skin to some extra love. Overall, i would 100% keep using this product. It's effective, kind to your wallet, and it's available everywhere! I definitely recommend it.

I found the wipes to be very effective at removing eye make-up, and even though I have very sensitive eyes I had no problems at all. A word of caution though - these wipes are VERY moist which is fine for the rest of the face, but I had to work carefully so as not to get any liquid in my eyes.

Although this product is great for those days where you just don't have the time or energy to do your proper cleansing routine, I wouldn't use this in place of my cleanser on a regular basis. My skin definitely does not feel as clean as it does after using my regular cleanser, and I think particularly for skins prone to excess oil, it's really important that your cleanser can break down excess oil on the skin in order for your moisturiser to do its job.

I'll definitely keep these as part of my routine, but only for eye make-up removal.

I really loved these wipes! Especially useful for travelling, as instead of packing cleansers, toners, eye-makeup removers and cotton wool, one can just use these wipes which do it all for you. The packaging claims that they can also remove waterproof mascara which I tested, and found to be true (impressive!) They are convenient, high quality whilst being affordable (about R33 for a pack of 25. Clicks often run 3 for 2 specials on these products too). My face felt really clean and fresh. They didn't burn my skin or my eyes, and were quite gentle on the face. As these wipes were for oil-balancing for combination skin, it is important to use a moisturiser with a similar purpose. A quality product that I will definitely buy again in the future.

Lovely product! This was in my goodie bag for June and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! These wipes really do clean skin and they are beautifully soft and thick, so perfect for senstive skin. I find them especially useful when I just dont feel like removing my make-up and know I have to ( like after a very late night, when you just want to fall into bed and not be bothered!). I havent tried these wipes on waterproof mascara, because mine isnt waterproof, but they do remove normal eye-makeup without a hassle. I use two - one for my eyes and the other for my face. I am sure one would actually be adequate, the wipes are thick and you can basically use both sides as well, but I like the wipe to come away clean, so that is why I use each side of two wipes. The container is small and compact, so nice for travelling and reseals nicely, so the wipes stay nice and moist. Not too sure of price as I didnt buy this product, but knowing Johnson's I am sure it is reasonable! Highly recommend as a cleanser or even just a back up for lazy days.
