John Frieda Full Repair™ Repairing Oil Elixir claims to reverse the look & feel of damage with every use.
I couldn't wait to try this product as I've only heard brilliant things about ALL the John Frieda products on Beauty Bulletin. I was keen to see what all the fuss was about.
Not only is this wee 100ml bottle of happiness good for colour treated hair, its makes your hair feel and look silky smooth. It's packed with repairing Inca Inchi Oil which is great for repairing damaged hair and preventing more damage. I love the pump-action bottle, which means each time you get the exact amount and there is no wastage. You really don't need much of this luxurious golden liquid. One pump to damp hair does the ends of my long hair - bargain! It will last me longer and good value for money.
It smells great and conditions my hair and helps with those thin fly-away hairs. It conditioned my hands to boot too! Bonus!
Well, I was lucky enough to win this as a giveaway on a beauty blog, but at R109.95 its still a bargain!

I have very fine and oily hair so quite honestly i was not to keen on trying this.
On opening i have to admit it smelt really awesome.
The oil has a thin consistency, and quite watery. The instructions recommend using one pump each time I wash my hair.(Really loving the pump - no waste age)I rub my palms together, and work my hands through my damp hair, even my roots.
The Repairing Oil Elixir helps reduce drying time considerably, which I love as I have to use less heat on my hair which in time will mean less damage. It even contains ingredients which protects the hair whilst using hot tools.As well as protecting the hair against further damage, it works a treat on helping to repair damage. It contains Inca Inchi Oil which is said to contain up to 47 times more Omega-3 than Argan Oil does which explains why this Repairing Oil Elixir is so effective. The ends of my hair feel so smooth, and really awesome.
I think for R110 for a 100ml bottle is totally worth it. A bottle of liquid Gold that is what i would call it

That's right, amazingness is the only word (that I just made up) that can describe this product.
I have what I like to call retarded hair and this little bottle fixes that in a flash.
One pump goes a long way to providing silky smoothness and heat protection. I makes the hair easy to work with and smells divine too.
It is not oily and does not leave a sticky residue on my hands or my hair nor does it make hair limp and lifeless. Who knew an oil would be so awesome with heat styling!

This was my first time using an oil elixir and I was told that this was a great one to use and I really agree! A little goes a long way with this oil so all you need is one squeeze into the palm of you hand. It is ideal to run along the ends of your hair to help repair and you can even use it on dry hair to help maintain flyaway hairs (which many of us struggle with)
This oil leaves no oily patches in your hair and it smoothes, adds shine and strengthens damaged hair.

This bottle of liquid gold has made an incredible difference to my hair. its glossy, looks so healthy and is so super soft even when i don't use conditioner!! It makes blow drying my hair effortless and i love how it doesnt weigh my hair down. a little goes a long way and a bottle should last up t 4-6 months depending on how often you use it. Highly recommend this product!!!! avoid using near your roots

FAVORITE:
This Repairing Oil Elixir has got to be my favorite from the range. It is very thin in texture so it covers so much more of your hair. Rather than clumping in sections like traditional hair serums this one is almost water like. It is far easier to spread and evenly distribute through out your hair! Leaving your locks feeling so shinny and silky but light weight!
I would definitely repurchase this!

John Frieda Style Setter - Lizelle spoiled me with this product. Not only does this product smell like a high-class perfume, but it doesn't stay oily on your hands after application. I use it to smooth out my hair after styling it and also as a mask for a day when I'm just lazying around at home.

I am a huge fan of this oil! I don't think I have not put it into my hair since I got it.
The liquid is thick but not heavy and it spreads nicely and evenly through your hair. My waist length semi-thick hair only needs three pumps to cover my entire head - AMAZING. It also does not leave a sticky residue on your hands afterwards. I usually go straight to blow drying my hair after applying the Elixir and it keeps my mane under control and eases frizz. You can also use it on your dry hair to control those baby hairs and annoying flyaways. One bottle lasts a LONG time, and even though I am not a fan of the price I will still be repurchasing this.

I have become attached to hair oils, it's become part of my nighttime routine and is a lot easier than applying a hair mask when you don't have time to deep condition. I always have a hair oil and I've tried a few. I wasn't too sure about this one but the brand convinced me to give it a shot and my bottle is almost finished!
I love that its not oily as you would expect an oil to be. Now my fine hair soaks up any product I use and it takes some effort to apply the right amount of product to my hair without having it look greasy. I use this oil on wet hair but my preferred used is after styling, it tames my fly aways, smooths my locks and gives it an incredibly healthy shine without the greasiness. This product is a must try for fine hair. If normal serums are to heavy for your hair, this one is perfect. Light weight and absorbs easily!

I am getting such joy out of using this product on my damaged hair. It does not leave my hair feeling greasy after use and it also protects hair from heat styling. Leaving it soft and shiny without making my thick hair feel heavy at all. My bottle is not even half and I have been using it diligently for 4 months now. One squirt is more than enough for one use, so a little goes a long way.

4 hair oils currently occupy my bathroom cupboard and the John Frieda Full Repair Elixir is one of them. I have loved all of the products in the range with the exception of this one. The oil delivers a smooth finish and high shine but soon after leaves my hair sticky. I'm more of a "thick serum" kind of girl but only because a thicker serum is easier to control when pumping it out and secondly, tends to deliver a more concentrated result to the area you're applying it to.
