All my life I have been applying serum on my hair after styling with my locks looking semi perfect, untill I step out the front door that is. After spritzing with leave in conditioner I apply this magic serum to the straight of my hair avoiding the roots! One would think that using all this product on your hair will cause some sort of stickiness but it doesn't, not one bit! In fact it makes hair feel incredibly soft to the touch, like silk! Now for the best part, it does an excellent job in taming inruly hair AND protects against humidity and heat from styling products. A small amount goes a long way and promises to eliminates frizz, protects from humidity, smooths, hydrates and tames it warns against using too much. Applied to very wet hair, it leaves no residue, doesn't make hair stringy and manages to diminish the appearance of split ends without leaving hair looking flat. I use a very small amount, warm it up in my palms and then add it to the roots of my hair from the nape of my neck up. I don't add it to the crown of my head - I find no matter what the product when it's applied there it just adds oil instead of shine. The product is quite sticky when on the hands but doesn't feel that way at all on the hair. It has a very subtle smell which pretty much disappears after blowdrying, but the results totally make up for that added extra. I used it after styling my hair and it gave my hair a nice shine. It wasn't sticky, as I find other styling products that give my hair shine a bit sticky to the touch but after I applied it, it was like it wasn't there.
