It has a very thick texture, but spreads easily enough over the skin to create a thin layer which should be then left for 10 minutes in order to dry out and do its work. After using this mask, my skin is noticeably 'cleaner' and I find that the day following use, the oil levels on my skin are visibly reduced, so I would give it a 5 out of 5 for that alone as it does exactly as promised. Its also very quick and easy to use which is a bonus for those who do not always have time to do masks which require longer lengths of time to achieve these same results.
