Isabella Garcia Control Complex

Alright so if you read some of my other reviews on Isabella Garcia's products you would have read that I'm that that big of a fan not that there was any wrong more that just it didn't impress me or stood out for me. It was just another face-wash and just another day cream and so on.

But of the two or three i did like this was my No 2. And once again I kind of used it as a spot treatment instead of a over the whole face product. I would use the spot intense mask at night and in the morning after toning before I put on my foundation I would again apply this control complex only on the effected areas. And I have to say it worked. The difference to me was that normally when you have a spot that is still in the developing phase and you apply makeup over its irritated and bigger by the time you wash your face at night. But when I applied the Control Complex on it and then do my makeup it starts healing and going away. As if it skipped the irritated to explosion phase (if you know what i mean ;-))

So yes this product definitly makes a difference in the spot department.

Most of the Isabella Garcia range is for more mature skin so this Control Complex was the only one really suited to my breakout prone skin.
It did control oiliness to some degree but cant say it stopped breakouts, I only received the very small sample bottle though so maybe with more continued use I would have seen an improvement.
But in all honesty the sales consultants where so irritating and harassing, they didn't stop calling me for weeks, (they didn't respect that no means no)... I would never actually buy the full size to try.. or any other Isabella Garcia product for that matter.

Out of all the products I received in the Isabella Garcia range, this was the only one that worked for me. It is a thick, creamy substance that feels quite 'abrasive' on the skin, and it takes a little effort to apply it, but when it has settled into the skin, then it starts to work it's magic. I had a bad breakout at some stage, and this product literally helped overnight. I applied it at night after toning, and used no other products in conjunction with it, when I woke up the next morning my skin was soft, smooth and clearer.
This is a product I will invest in again.

Good product! Does its job well in keeping the skins condition balanced and clear and also feels good to apply. Was the only moisturizer in the garcia range that I enjoyed

A life saver for oily troublesome skin! This is one of the best moisturizers I have used as it leaves my skin matte all day long with out it feeling tight and dry. My skin looks amazingly clear and healthy (this come with committed use). It does not contain a spf though, so be sure to use a good sun screen when going out in the sun.

I gave the whole thing to my mom because the products I received were more for a dehydrated/mature skin type but it did include 2 products for my troublesome skin.

This moisturiser I found to be very helpful in keeping my skin decongested. I suffer from monthly breakouts that time of the month but its been getting better as the months gave gone by due to a change in oral contraceptive. My skin isn't actually oily at all which is strange considering that I get these breakouts and this moisturiser helped in keeping my skin soft and protected. Its kind of got a dry texture but it absorbs easily.
