#HydramaticLipstick Project Wrap Up

Avon asked 9000 women about their ideal lipstick and created the best of both worlds, #HydramaticLipstick – a matte lipstick for dramatic matte colour with extreme hydration.

BUT, did it live up to the hype? We recruited 1000 people to try the world’s 1st matte lipstick with a hydrating hyaluronic core! Week One’s Story
With this being Beauty Bulletin’s FIRST project featuring 1000 influentials, it was only fitting to kick the project off with a one-day thunderclap launch. Influentials flooded Instagram with high-quality stills and carousel feed posts featuring Avon’s new #HydramaticLipstick and its unique bullet design in their personalized #HydramaticLipstick boxes. Influentials drove their audiences to follow the #HydramaticLipstick conversation to see the results and to find out if the product delivered on a matte finish without compromising on moisture and comfort.,
Week Two’s Story
With the launch of a ground-breaking product, it was only fitting to have a ground-breaking challenge for it too. Influentials took to TikTok to join the #HydramaticLipstick TikTok challenge where they used Avon’s branded effect while wearing the Avon lipstick. The effect brought up questions and a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer option for each question, which influentials answered by tilting their head in the chosen direction. This exciting challenge was all about celebrating modern women who can be multiple things at once, just like Avon’s #HydramaticLipstick – matte & hydrating!
Week Three’s Story
It has now been 2 weeks of trialling Avon’s NEW #HydramaticLipstick and influentials were now ready to share their social reviews on the groundbreaking product. Influentials shared still feed posts with their feedback in their captions, with most even filming conversational style reels speaking about the lipstick and what they thought about it, sharing their honest reviews of #HydramticLipstick. There’s no doubt that Avon’s NEW #HydramaticLipstick was a great hit and certainly delivered on both matte finish and moisture as claimed by all influentials. Influentials also invited their followers to check out the link in bio for some more info on the world’s 1st matte lipstick with a hydrating hyaluronic core and to purchase it if they wanted to try it for themselves.
Week Four’s Story
There’s no better way to showcase the awesomeness of #HydramaticLipstick than with a lipstick swatch party, and that’s exactly what our influentials did! They shared the most creative swatches of #HydramaticLipstick, showcasing the 3 different lipstick shades they were trialling – Granet, Rosey, Purple – in their swatch party posts. Influentials showcased the bold, dramatic pigmentation of the lipsticks, as well as how each shade looked. Influentials took to their captions to speak on the formulation of the Avon lipsticks, highlighting that it’s the world’s FIRST matte lipstick with a hyaluronic hydrating core, without compromising on comfort or moisture.
