Head & Shoulders Shampoo

A mint like, refreshing & cool feeling left on your scalp.

Long ago a hairdresser friend of mine advised me to always change shampoos so there's not much I haven't tried.. Head & shoulders is something that I do use periodically and I think it's great.. It gives my hair that squeaky clean that most shampoos don't, getting rid of build up nicely.. Some variants dry out my hair a bit but I compensate with conditioner etc.. I am especially loving the menthol variant head & shoulders though becuase it doesn't dry out my hair at all.. It adds moisture in fact... I thought menthol would have a drying out effect on my hair, I was pleasantly suprised.. It had a nice scent, a bit too strong becuase it permeates through my home lol.. But it's fine as long as it doesn't Irritate my senses..

This is a really great product for dandruff , it cleanses and moisturizes hair from roots to tips .
It also hydrates the scalp preventing further dandruff from occurring .
The fragrance is so long lasting especially the citrus .

The shampoo works well in conjunction with the conditioner , it can be a bit pricey sometimes but when on sale the big bottles are very reasonable .

You can always trust Head & Shoulders to help Treat and Prevent a dry scalp. This winter, I used a lot of heat styling on my hair with my hair dryer and flat iron and this caused my scalp to get very dry. So I purchased the Head & Shoulders Citrus Fresh Shampoo for greasy hair, which a beautiful citrus scent. The results were amazing, after the very first wash, my scalp regained its moisture and there is less and less visible signs of a dry scalp.

I love Head and Shoulders, especially the Menthol - it leaves a tingling sensation and is nice and fresh smelling. I used to be all gaga over "proper" hair care products but as my family grew and money not so much I wanted to find something that works great for keeping my hair clean, fresh and dandruff free and at the same time suitable to use by my husband who washes hair on a daily basis, without drying out his scalp and at the same time keeping dandruff away. We have now been using Head & Shoulders consistently for 2 years and it works great! No complaints! So for a good shampoo that cleans, keeps dandruff at bay and is family friendly and affordable I would definitely recommend Head & Shoulders. Also if using for family I recommend buying the larger bottle (600ml) to further increase savings!

Suffering from dry scalp is not fun! This shampoo effectively controls and eliminates dry itchy scalp. Hair looks and feels great too, and the itch relief is almost immediate. Its pricey, but works well. A bottle lasts quite a while and it lathers easily. Plesant fragrance het not overpowering. A must for all with dry scalp

I am currently using this product and I am really happy with it.It removes the oiliness in my hair and frees me from dandruff.I also love the fresh scent!

i love this product soo much! it leaves my hair feeling soo fresh and clean and smell like apples!:D one thing i really love about it is that it fights off drandruff which i have been having recetly.. ovverall i would highly ecommend this!:)

When my hair was going through an oily phase I found that this seemed to work extremely well with regards to keeping the oil under control without drying out my hair. I love the fresh citrus scent that lingered on my hair for some time. I do not suffer from Dandruff, so unfortunately can not comment on that.

I loved the fresh smell of eucalyptus and wonderful tingly sensation on my scalp. After the 1st wash I already experienced a difference. My scalp felt instantly soothed. With continued use , my scalp felt better. The dryness is improving. Having had brain surgery I battle immensely with a dry scalp due to my operation scarring. I'm definitely happy to find a product that works

I would agree with Amina. This shampoo is perfect if you have greasy hair. I use this shampoo to keep my hair fresh because I have very oily hair. Two washes with this shampoo and my hair is fresh for two days, with a lovely silky scent. I love the scent of the shampoo as well, it smells super fresh and you can get a strong citrus scent. I also don't have dandruff, so I'm not sure how well it works with dandruff, but on oily hair, it works wonders! I would recommend you give it a try if you have oily hair.

Having oily hair is not attractive at all. I have tried so many different shampoos in order to find one that works perfectly for my hair.

This one not only smells amazing, but it leaves my hair looking incredibly clean for two days. Usually I have to ssh my hair every day, but not with this shampoo.
I do not have dandruff so I cannot comment on where it helps with dandruff or not but it definitely helps with oil.
It has a fresh and summery citrus smell which I like.

This is a great product with many variants, I was attracted to it by the amazing ingredients and its effect on dandruff.

The shampoo is rich with a great later and you can feel it working; no need really for a conditioner.

I love Head and Shoulders. If only it wasn't so pricey. It has a wonderful fragrance that makes hair smell clean, soft and fresh. There is a noticeable appearance in the reduction of dandruff and scalp problems with continuous use. A great effective product all in all but be careful not to get any in your eyes as it can really cause issues!

I absolutely love this shampoo.I used to suffer with dandruff in my hair and itchy scalp.Tried different brands,but only after trying Head & Shoulder`s Smooth& Silky shampoo,I`ve experienced clean hair,smooth and with a delicious fragrance.
The only down side i their price.

The citrus in this product does a great job of making hair smell refreshed and clean. Hair is left squeaky and tangle free. With continuous use dandruff is also reduced but not 100% eliminated.

I agree with Amina, I love the citrus head and shoulders! I also don't really need it for dandruff, so I use it more for the oil control. Because its citrus it helps keep hair fresh for longer. My hair feels softer and smoother and smells so amazingly fresh! You really can't go wrong with this one!

Head and Shoulders Citrus Fresh is one of my favorite shampoos. It is designed for people with dandruff and oily hair.
I don't really get dandruff but I started using this as a preventative measure. It smells amazing and I can go 2 days without washing my hair when using this.
It also leaves my hair really soft.
I would definitely reckoned this if you have oily hair. It really is something you should try out

On the rare occasion I get dandruff and the only thing that will get rid of it, is H&S. It has a wonderful smell and leaves my hair soft. I don't recommend using this on coloured hair as it will remove your hair colour.

I have been using this shampoo forever now! It does not damage my hair and makes my hair smooth and sleek. It also has a very nice fresh scent. The new apple range is even better!

It is not pricey and it works just as well as they advertise. No false advertising here, I have been dandruff free since I started using this product in 2001.

This will forever be on my shopping list!

For a consumer with straight to slightly wavy hair, Head & Shoulders was the perfect solution to all my hair problems. The citris in it refreshes your skull and moisturises it making you feel fresh and ready to take on the challenges of the day. Head & Shoulders unlike other shampoo's did not damage my hair or made it dry and oily.

Head and Shoulders is by far one of the best anti-dandruff brands out there. You notice the dandruff flakes decreasing after just one use. It also leaves a clean long lasting fragrance that does not smell clinical and medicinal. Thsi shampoo also work well to condition hair on its own unlike most anti-dandruff shampoos which can be quite harsh on hair. All in all a good product at a good price!

Without a doubt, the best shampoo I have ever used. I don't have dandruff, but that really doesn't make a difference to the way this shampoo makes my hair more manageable and softer. As for dandruff, my husband has an issue with that and after using this the first time, the difference was amazing. It totally gets rid of dandruff.

The price is definitely worth it. Does far more than most shampoos promise to AND it's not expensive at all.

I've been fortunate enough to not suffer from dandruff but two of my closes friends have very oily skin and hair. One of them has oily skin and hair coupled with a very dry scalp.

A very very bad combination :(

I asked their opinion on this shampoo since they have both given it a shot.

Results are in..

One friend claims that it worked beautifully and got rid of 100% of the dandruff. ( oily hair and skin)

The other friend was unfortunately not as lucky as she felt it really didn't solve the problem. ( oily hair skin and dry scalp)

I used this shampoo as well just for the review to test it on a "normal" hair type. I must say I enjoyed the creamy texture of the shampoo and definitely the smell which lingers in your hair a few hours after your wash.

I felt a clean feel to my hair for sure but as for the eradication of dandruff. (Not so sure?)

Apparently Donald Trump swears by this shampoo so I was compelled to give it a 4 out of 5 for effectiveness .
I mean I'm pretty sure with all of Donald's cash if he found a better product he would tell us all you know after buying the shampoo company ;)

Better than the others.

When ever my scupl gets a bit dry I usually use this product. It has proven to been quite effective to the the job done.

I like the fact that there is a large range to choose from, there is a fragerance to suit everyone.

Leaves a fresh sensation after using the product.

I have a sensitive scalp and using the wrong shampoo or conditioner will often leave me with a dry, itchy scalp. I use the menthol variant of this shampoo and it is awesome. It gives my scalp a cooling sensation and relieves the itchiness. Its a little strong for everyday use but I always keep a bottle handy. It can even be used to clarify your hair and remove product build up. I love the minty smell and the queaky clean feeling it gives my hair but I recommend using a conditioning treatment like a mask afterwards if your hair is dry. I highly recommend this product.

I tried the new range out after an article in Cosmo awarding Head and Shoulders best shampoo of the year- about 4 years ago.. When I used it I figured out why!

I bought the 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner.The shampoo is quite concentrated so you don't actually need to use alot to get the desired amount of foam.After use, I immediately noticed the difference and my husband's scalp and hair hasn't been dry or flaky since we tried head&shoulders..it has a lovely infigorating scent as well!

I use this range as I tend to get dry scalp in winter. Smells great, only need a small amount to wash long hair and lathers really well. Gets rid of 100% of dandruff (!!) and with regular use actually decreases your chances of getting it again. No need for a conditioner - which I now only use every 2nd wash - as hair is shiny and soft.

I use this shampoo religously, and it leaves my hair feeling soft and squeeky clean! I love that my hair is always super shiny!
