The first feminie fragrance from Bvglari and was inspired by Botticelli’s painting, The Birth of Venus. So much so that the aromas are reminiscent of a salty sea, with sea crystals, bergamont and red ginger. Magnolia, quince, precious wood and amber are notes also present in the perfume.

I received this perfume as a gift and from the packaging to the bottle, it is very classy and gives you the feeling of luxury.
I love the smell, it reminds me of a tropical island, cool nights on the beach, love and good company!
The fragrance is bold so don't overdue it. It lasts a good 8 hours that is not bad for a special day or evening out!

This was one of the fragrances I (very luckily for me) won through Beauty Bulletin.
Let's begin with the packaging: The golden square box it is packaged in is nothing short of opulent. This is, in fact, the first sign you get of exactly what is in the exquisite golden box. On opening it, I found the most beautiful pearl-like flattened circular bottle with the golden top. The fragrance itself is utterly divine, and unlike many of the reviews, I don't find at all any "sea-saltiness" as described in the fragrance. I definitely picked up and can agree with the woody and musky notes, but don't be discouraged if you don't like the term "musky" - this fragrance is not at all what you may think of when the word musky is used. The scent itself is reminiscent for me of an ideal female fragrance. It could certainly be a signature-scent for many women. One spritz is all you need because the fragrance itself is very bold - don't over do it because you will spoil it. I simply spritzed it close to my neck and walked through it and I found that to be sufficient for me. Yes, the fragrance dies down a bit, but it lasts well over 8 hours and by that time, you hope to be snuggled up in your man's embrace, so the fragrance doesn't need to be over-whelming. This is certainly a balmy summer fragrance for those gorgeous summer evenings out, and I think in winter, it would be even better because it brings a certain 'warmth' to the wearer. There is a mystery in this fragrance that will want to bring people closer to you, so this is ideal for a smart night out, or a light spritz for the warmer days. Either way, you will have people wanting to get to know the women wearing this scent. Utterly intoxicating and gorgeous without being over-whelming and sickly sweet.

The packaging looks as if its emerged out of the sea with its white casing, gold lid and shell like shape. Its unlike anything Ive seen before - sitting on its side as opposed to its base. I love it.
Not only is it ultra chic, but the fragrance is so unique with its salty undertone. Many people have noted that this could be in fact a unisex perfume because of the musk and wood notes. I prefer this to perfumes heavy in floral scents! My only criticism is it seems to fade on the skin throughout the day.
