If you want length, you need this Eyelure Lengthening Starter Kit! It's not too heavy so its wearable during the day, and it's also perfect if you want to transition into a night time look.
Quality:
Eyelure is one of the best drugstore false lash suppliers out there and it's no surprise that I turned to them when I bought my very first pair. When properly looked after, I can reuse these lashes another two/three times at the least. Definitely amazing quality.
Price:
R79.95 is a bargain! I say this because included in the kit is an applicator, TWO strip lash adhesives AND a practice lash! I am yet to see another company that provides a practice lash and an extra tube of adhesive. Most only come with one! Again I say, BARGAIN!
Effectiveness:
Did I get longer lashes? Yes. I also loved the way they made me feel. My confidence shot up by at least 200%. Lashes are the most underrated feature of the face and when more attention is paid to them, you'll see how you naturally feel like you can command a room!
Definitely worth the buy!

I have not been a lash girl for almost all my makeup-life simply because it looked like a hard thing to do and frankly the process I saw some women go through in the local salons was not appealing! So imagine my relief when I saw this, I just had to take it home and try it...and I wasn't disappointed at all! Now I don't even use the applicator or tweezers, I just use my fingers!! And to top it off, these lashes blend in and look like your natural lashes, not at all plasticy looking or heavy looking. Get this for yourself and let your eyes in on a lil' fabulosity.

I received the kit on a Monday. I was sceptical at first as the last time I had false lashes was single ones back in 2009/2010.
The reason I didn't have them is the swollen eyes I would see, I guess they were not applied correctly.
Finally I got the courage to try them Friday morning.
They were easy to use, I didn't even use the applicator, I used my hands only.
The right lash was perfect, the left one had its moments. I thought maybe it was because I am right handed. I could feel the left lash when I blink but the right lash was perfect- I couldn't notice I had one.
Saturday I was attending the function- putting them on was not a struggle like the previous day.
But the left lash had its moment from time to time.
I love the fact that they are not individual, I love the length. I love the fact that I couldn't feel them even if I moved my eyes around. They felt natural.
The fact that they are re-useable is great and the price too.
It was easy to use especially as it was the first time. I didn't even had to use the trial lash that is included.
It was easy to take them off at night.
Recommend-
the use of mascara before putting on the lashes, to remove dust of eye shadow and to keep your natural eyelashes in line, so that they will match perfectly with the false lashes. Not too much though, one or two strokes.
Challenges-
It was difficult to use the glue, I think the tube with narrow end, and the bottle is soft for pressing out the glue- will be much better.
It was difficult to remove eye-shadows from the lashes.

This is my 1st time that i`m reviewing samples from BB, and i must say the eyelashes is an absolute fantastic product!!! I`ve never tried false eyelashes before. I was a bit worried about the sticky glue and getting the application all wrong.
The step by step guide is a big help to 1st timers like me, and to my surprise it was very easy to use, no sticky messes and it looks fantabulouse, LOL!!! The lashes looks very natural and it has an immediate effect on your appearance. I did`nt even have to shorten the lashes it was a perfect fit. The long dark lashes suited my dark eyebrows perfectly. It`s very durable and the product is really worth the price which is not expensive.I`m still wearing mine....

I bought the Eylure False Lash starter kit at the clicks beauty sale and what can I say? I am hooked! Applying false eyelashes has never been this easier and cheaper... The kit contains all the essentials from the glue to the applicator with easy to understand instructions. It was my first attempt at DIY false eyelashes and I must say, I did a pretty mean job thanks to The Eylure False Lash starter kit. The eyelashes don't look cheap or synthetic at all. They actually look extremely attractive and well blended with my natural eyelashes. What a transformation! Word of caution, like any other eyelashes, in order to make them last longer, avoid putting water on the eyelashes as this will make the eyelashes peel off. Otherwise, great product.

These starter lashes are brilliant for starters or even if you just need to get lashes on super quick! I have been using false strip eyelashes for more than 6 years. These lashes are easy to apply and super light - does not even feel like you have any on, the lashes are light enough to look natural and not have that fake barbie look. The glue is FANTASTIC! Over the past 6 years of using eyelash adhesive I have finally found the perfect glue. Tip - apply the glue to the strip of the false lash and have it dry for like 10 seconds so that it is tacky so that it is easier to apply. Blend in with your own lashes by using liquid liner in between the lashes and then blend with eyeliner and mascara.

I have always wondered about using falsies, but also thought that they would probably look very fake and gawdy... UNTIL I actually tried them out :)
My bf was totally against me wearing false lashes also, till he seen how natural they CAN look!
These were super easy to apply, and everything you need is in the box.
To remove them, I simply youtubed the process, which merely consisted of using oil-free eye make up remover liquid on a cotton bud and rubbing it gently at the base of the lashes till they come loose - EASY PEASY! :D .. BEST PART is they are RE-USABLE! Thanks Beauty Bulletin :D

As a newbie at reviewing products I was quite excited to receive the Eylure false lashes. It comes neatly packaged and includes lashes, adhesive and an applicator. I have tried false lashes before but found it a rather unpleasant experience as it hurt and most of my eyelashes would come off with the glue :(. However I was pleasantly surprised when I tried the Eylure false lashes.
The lashes feel soft and smooth, almost as natural as my own eyelashes. On application I found it a breeze to attach, there was no mess, no fuss. The glue included in this kit is fantastic! The stick within it makes it easy to apply and you can control the amount of glue that you are putting onto the lash.
The lashes worked really well and added some volume. They sat perfectly and looked natural and the glue held the lashes in place all day. On removal, it was easy, painless and best of all none of my own eyelashes had come off. I was super excited! :) I would absolutely recommend this incredible products to friends and family.

At first I was a little skeptical about using false eyelashes as I have a very oily skin.I have done lashes before and they didn't last nearly as long as I was told.But I thought I would try and see.I applied the lashes,following the instructions step by step,and I am impressed.The lashes lasted for the whole day until I took them off.And my eyes looked really good,without mascara.I wouldn't wear them everyday but for every now and then I would recommend these to anyone.

I have never had falsies before as my eyes are fairly sensitive and I'm quite clumsy with glue, however the applicator made things really easy. Took exactly 2mins to apply both lashes and lasted all day with out moving or any irritation.
They were quite light I forgot I was wearing them if it wasn't for all the compliments. Best thing is they are reusable and the next wear was as good as the 1st. Def buying this again

I am a BIG fan of Eyelure. I used this style the first time today. The packaging isn't the best, it doesn't really catch my eye. The reason I first started using Eyelure was because I saw the Katy Perry Range, which is the first style I purchased. I have seen cheaper brands with better packaging. I would love an acrylic box style packaging that was easy to slide out and in because the lashes are reusable. The lashes themselves are reusable and look very natural. It's easy to apply and remove. I love that you get a practice lash, for those who haven't warn false lashes before. The fact that you get two tubes of glue is fabulous. I do prefer using a tweezer to apply my lashes. I won't say that the applicator doesn't work, I just think that it's out if habit that I reach for the tweezer. I will definitely repurchase and encourage anyone to buy this brand. I have been batting my eyes the entire day...love, love, love it!

I have never used false lashes before, neither have I had any desire to try them out. I received my Eyelure False Lash Starter Kit and they sat in my cupboard for about a week or two. I wasn't too sure about it, as I thought won't it be uncomfortable or irritating and what happens when I want to remove it? So one Sunday I decided to try it out and my oh my. I love, love, love it!!!! It was so easy to apply, they made me look absolutely gorgeous, aaaand it was easy to remove, with no irritation to my sensitive eyes. They are reusable and although it is my first go at false lashes, my opinion is that the quality of these lashes are really good, and for only R79.94!!!! Did I mention that I loved it?!!!

have never used false falsies before for fear of gluing my eyes shut and also thinking that I may turn out to look like a badly put together drag queen. But recently I was offered a chance to try out a pair of Eyelure Lengthening by the amazing team at Beauty Bulletin – A big thank you for these! I received the Eyelure Lengthening No.118 starter kit which comes with a set of lashes, a practice lash, two tubes of glue (contains latex), applicator and leaflet.
Thank goodness for the practice lash because even though the instructions are easy enough to follow I did find that I had to make some adjustments, like step 1, should really be apply mascara to your natural eyelashes so that your natural eyelashes blend with the falsies. Also I found that if I let the glue become tacky which takes about 2 minutes the eyelash sticks in the right place and I used my tweezers to apply the lashes as I found the applicator a little cumbersome for me.

To Apply (as per the box’s instructions):
1) Lift the lashes from the tray with tweezers, applicator or your fingers (if they are glued across the lash, then ease them away from the half-moon using your thumbs in a downward motion, please do not pick off from the ends.

2) Measure against your eye and if they are too long then, using sharp nail scissors, snip off a small section at a time until they are perfect.
3) Apply a thin line of the Eylure Lashfix glue to the lash band. Wait about 20-30 seconds until it becomes tacky before applying (this is where most applications can go awry).
4) Apply with tweezers, applicator or your fingers (whichever feels natural to you). We believe a tweezers/applicator will give you a more precise placement. Place from the middle of the eye first then adjust the edges so they follow your natural lash line. Press and hold for a few seconds. If you make a mistake, simply remove from the eye, take off the dried glue, reapply and go again.

I found these to be really great especially for a first time user. They were super light and fit perfectly on my eye. The best part about these is that they look really natural with just a hint of glamour at the edges. They add the perfect amount of volume and length to wear during the day and I think that if you’re looking to keep it low key, just pop these bad boys on with a pop of color on your lips and you’re ready to head out the door!
And at just R54.95 (Dischem) a pair they’re a really great buy for anyone looking to add a little oopmh to their look.

I am over the moon with this kit! Thank you so much Beauty Bulletin for sending me this, you have opened up another world for me today! Applying your own false lashes is no easy task and it is rather difficult to find lashes that won't make you look like a circus clown. These lashes look very natural and I cannot get over the fact that it was so easy to apply. Thanks to the practice lash you can play around until you get the hang of it without ruining the other lashes, the kit also includes a little applicator that makes it very easy to apply. The lashes are also re-usable. I can't wait to wear mine out tomorrow!

I received this a few days ago and boy was I excited and nervous at the same time . I have never used or applied false lashes before and just looking at them can intimidate you .
This was so not the case with the Eylure lashes , the step by step instruction made it so simple after just reading it I felt confident and like a PRO.
I was thrilled to find that they are courteous enough to give you a "practice lash" in case you want to do a practice run first .
The lashes are natural looking and gorgeous when applied . They give your eyes such a defined look without making you look like you have falsies on . I love that you dont need apply mascara on these , its really optional I chose not to and it still made me look like had naturally full long lashes .
Whats even better is that as easy as they are to apply , its just as easy to remove .
Your eyes dont feel uncomfortable or heavy as I would have expected them to . They are actually very lightweight.

On wearing the lashes. They feel and look very natural. I had them on for a whole night, I didn't feel irritated. They were very light on my eyelids. The glue also held well the whole time. I would recommend these to everyone, ladies, get your Eylure kit and bat your effortlessly glamorous lashes.

Awww, this is so cute...this literally was my first pair of false lashes...listen I was so excited when I got these 8 years ago.
They are so easy to use, they light weight, and the price point isn't so bad either. That little grey thing though for the application, I found it to be a bit useless. It just never worked for me...nahhh I would pass on that and just use your fingers.
Otherwise, these are definately user friendly, but after a while you will want to upgrade to more fuller lashes, cz these lashes just don't look like much after a while.

I've always wanted to try out fake eye lashes but i never knew which brand to buy or which type of lashes to look out for! So i used the Eye Lure False Lash starter kit, honestly the best thing i have ever done! Not only were they beyond easy to put on with the applicator but they stayed on for so long, never coming undone or moving around. They were super light as well so it didnt make my eye lashes feel big, heavy or fake and gave the most beautiful fininshed look over all. Definitely going to be buying these again.

I dont wear falsies very often and when I have tried them out, the glue usually ends up everywhere and doesnt quite work, and Im usually on the run so complex eye lash gluing just isnt on the books. But perhaps Im just somewhat of a hazard. These lashes however are so simple to use and the applicator makes life very easy. Make sure when you apply the glue to let it set for 15-20 seconds or so, much easier! Gives perfect lashes :)

So I recently got a package in the mail box and I was so excited and curious about the contents. You can imagine my delight when I opened it and found a pack of these awesome eyelashes. I usually wear strip lashes but I had never purchased a pack of Eylure falsies.
So I decided to put try them on the weekend to complete my doll face look :-) Firstly I was impressed with the fact that there was a test lash (I suppose it makes sense to include one since it's a starter kit), I also liked the length of the lashes because I didn't have to cut them, they fit just perfectly (Yay). The feel of the lashes is very light and natural which is a bonus.
I didn't use the glue that came with the packaging though because they tend not to stick properly or one has to wait long before putting on the lashes... so I will not comment on it. As for the applicator, good try but it doesn't really hold the lashes on its own.
Overall the falsies were a hit for me and I will be stocking them up for my kit very soon. Hopefully there are multipacks which will offer more value for money. Thank You BB.

Well thank you to Beauty Bulletin and the Eylure Brand, was great getting lashes for the weekend.
For one, this was my first time wearing falsies and I have to say I adjusted very quickly. They were abit too long for a first timer such as myself but they felt comfortable and natural, weren't heavy and easy to apply.
I really enjoyed being a glamour queen for a weekend and my fiancé loved them.

I started my week long journey with Eylure London Lengthening starter kit of false lashes extremely optimistic at the opportunity of using false lashes. I have never worn false lashes before and was excited at the prospect. I flipped the pack over and went through the instructions quickly, eager to try the product. Once I read the how-to's, I quickly snipped off the length that I would not need and applied the lash glue. After waiting the required 20-30 seconds, I applied the lashes to my eyes, just above my natural lash line.
Here is where I encountered some difficulty. I don't know if it's the shape of my eyes or the amount of glue that I applied, but I couldn't get the lashes to stay on. Both the outer and inner corners would peel off after a few minutes, and my relentless sticking down and re-applying did not seem to help. This was the process I followed for about four days, not wearing the lashes longer than about an hour each day as a result of the frustration of peeling off and sticking down. Eventually on the fifth day, I decided to just stick it out, and although I did have to continue to stick down for the first hour and a half, after that they seemed to stay put.
It's probably just me though, and my lack of lash skills, because I haven't read that anybody else has had this difficulty, and it definitely hasn't put me off this product!

I liked the fact that one could apply these lashes that gave a little boost, and didn't look like fake eyelashes.
These lashes are so natural looking, I've worn them during the day too, and it just looks like you're using really good mascara.
The area where you apply the glue to, the lash strip essentially, is very thin, which is great as you don't need to try and hide it with a hectic winged eyeliner look.
I'm honestly very impressed with this set of lashes and how easy they've made it for people who are not familiar with false eyelashes.

It is important to be gentle with the lashes once removing them and also putting them back into their box after use so that they don't get damaged. You can also carefully take off the old glue, so it doesn't build up or get gross and unhygienic.

I have been wearing Eylure false lashes for a few years now and its really a great product. It is affordable compared to other brands and reusable as well. The applicator that is included in the kit is really helpful in positioning the lash without having to worry about it bending or damaging. The lashes are light and soft so it blends well with your natural lashes. I wear contact lenses so my eyes are fairy sensitive to eye products but I have never experienced any irritation by the lashes or the glue. I would definitely recommend this product!

Because of my belief in women working with what they have when it comes to beauty and make-up, I've never used false lashes before. I was very sceptical because of the process of putting them on. It actually turned out to be much easier than I thought and I loved the extended look. They were light and didn't move because I made sure to put on enough glue. I will be sure to use them again when I go out with the girls.

I enjoy having lashes on for big events and to look glam. Eylure makes really great lashes and this kit is perfect for beginners. The lashes are not overpowering and heavy. They look natural and are effective in opening up your eyes.

Let me start of by saying that ive never before used false lashed before on my eyes and that im equally satisfies with my own lashes :)
However, Eylure lashes gave me a new found hope for false eye lashes since ive tried it over the weekend.
The beginners kit, is well put together with a practice lash, before you attempt the set on both of your eyes , which is awesome, practice makes perfect!
After a few rounds of practice, i had glued the lashes and placed them on my lids, bare in mind that before you glue and place the lashes on your lid, make sure that you check the size / length of the lashed against your own as i had to trim/ cut away the inner corner to accommodate the shape and size of my eyes.
Overall im impressed, as i also tested the lashes by walking outside in the wind to check that they don't disappoint me someday!
Great quality lashes, price is affordable especially when you are able to re-use them and after a few practice rounds you see that these lashes need enough glue when u apply them to get the ultimate result which i did and will definitely restock them :)
