This was a super fast drying nail polish and there are always so many colours to choose from. Its my usual go to brand when im looking for nail polish and i always find that they bring out new colours for new seasons which is great!

I love this nail polish so much! its in my price and and it last miles longer than any expensive nail polish i have purchased. I own about 9 of these nail polishes and i have never been disapointed.

i loved the fact that the nail police hangs on. it is water resistant (to some extent) and the colours are a dream because there are so many to choose from. and for those that are brave enough to follow how-to nail designs, the essence gel nail polish is a great way to go

Ever since I got my hands on this product over 3 years ago, I've never looked back! This nail polish is amazing because it is thick and very well pigmented so you don't have to go over your nails with a thousand layers, and it lasts a decent amount of time on your nails. Another awesome thing about Essence nail polish is that they have soooooo many colours in their range, so they cater for everyone :)

I have no issue with these. I absolutely love Essence The gel Nail polishes, a great selection of colors, the brush is great, the size of the bottle is great too - so you never have to deal with sticky polishes (if you switch between colors) its affordable - whats not to love?

I love the look of gel nails but can't constantly afford to get mine done. I found these nail polishes by Essence and thought I'd give them a try. I was pretty impressed. They don't chip off in a day and the colour range is so amazing. My nails weren't stained at all, even without a base coat. What I love the most about these (and Essence products in general) is that they aren't expensive and the quality is pretty good.

This is great stuff for the price!!! Please just remember to use it with the gel Polish top and base Coat to get the proper effect and long wear out of it. If you do it correctly it's Awesome!!!!

I absolutely love the essence brand. I normally use the nude nail polish which you can hardly ever find in stores (such a bummer) but I find that it dries out quiet quickly in the bottle. I always have to add a few drops of the clear gel polish in it as it get thick very easily. But overall I love it!

I love the new Gel formula for these Essence nail polishes - they really do give you that just manicured gel look.. There are a much of pretty shades to choose from ! The only downside I would say is that they don't last as long as the colour to go for some odd reason! But still love them and the price is only R24 each which is a great bargain

Definitely one of my favourite nail polishes..I cannot walk past an Essence stand without being tempted to buy one (even though I have so many already!)
They are very budget friendly without compromising on quality.
Love the bottles with the matching lid colour! makes finding the one I want to use in my collection so much easier (and prettier!).
You only need to apply 2 coats at the most and they take fairy quick to dry.
They last on my nails without chipping for at least 5 days.

I have recently decided to try the new Gel Nail Polishes from Essence. To be honest I really did not expect too much as it is very affordable. But as usual, Essence did not let me down. They might be an affordable brand, but they do not compromise on quality and they are always keeping up with the newest trends.
Ok, so back to the polish. The consistency is a tad bit thicker than the Colour 'n Go polishes, but it does not make application harder in any way. Actually application is a breeze as usual.
Also it does not take forever to dry and it lasted a good 4 days before showing signs of chipping. For me that is good because I am always typing and that takes a toll on my nail pretties. And the results is a shiny and expensive looking mani with the least amount of effort.
Best of all, it comes in such a wide variety of colours and the price does not break the bank.

I love how essence has made their colour range even wider , so you're bound to find a perfect colour for any season!
The nail polish has a flat like brush , which glides on easily on to the nails. The colours, I've tried, were pigmented and you just needed two coats to get the full impact.
If i remember correctly, i paid a little over R30 which is very affordable in comparison to most of the other brands.
I suggest wearing a top coat, to make the nail polish last even longer .

I'm a huge essence fan. I love that these polishes are affordable and come in a great variety of colours. I love the consistency of the polish, it goes on easily. The brush is also flat which I really love. I don't find that the gel range lasts any longer than the regular polishes, even with the gel base and top coats. I still love them and continue to purchase these.

Essence is my go-to make up brand, so, of course, most of my nail polishes are part of the Essence range.
I've used a couple of the Gel Nail Polishes without the base coat, top coat or the gel nail lamp, yet (after two coats) it looked like I had professional gel nails. The nail polish lasted quite long (one week) and was rich in colour. The price, quality and vast range of colours makes it an amazing product. It is also great for nail art and ombre designs.

I love the colours. I bought a mint and a red one. The only negative thing that I have to say is that you have to apply two layers for the colour to pop other than that I think that it's a steal because it's super cheap and the colours are gorgeous. You have to reapply after 3-4 days though but I always use a top coat in order for it to last longer.

I then realized that my nail treatment does not last as long on my nails because I have very dry and flaky nails and so my gelish would start flake off by my tips and considering the fact that nail treatments are not the cheapest things ever, having it come off within a week or so is quite a bummer.
I then decided to go back to my Varsity love for Essence nail polishes and I came across the Gel Nails range and I thought hey, this is affordable and the colours are pretty so let me try them out. I was also thinking that if they do not last long, I could always reapply them because they come with regular old nail polish remover.
So I bought a few shades and I must say I love them. I do need to apply a few layers on my nails, especially with the Sweet As Candy colour (MY FAVORITE SHADE), but it looks perfect and delicate once I have applied a few layers. It is adorable. The glossy finish is cute, even if you do not apply the top coat that they have in the range, it still looks great.

This gel nail polish in question is clear with loads of gold glitter in it. It applies easily and looks quite amazing. It's not too over the top though so you can still rock it during the day but it's oh so perfect for a night out :p.. This is a gorgeous mauve color , which I am loving for the almost autumn . Its a great color to transition from autumn to winter with as these seasons are all about these moody colors .

I have two shades now in The Gel nail polish, and much prefer it over the brands I've used in the past. The polish makes for a smooth application, and is thick enough that one coat is sufficient!
The colours are vibrant and intense, and the polish lasts about 3-4 days without a base and top coat before it begins to chip badly.

I have a large nail product collection and mainly thanks to the super low price of the Essence brand. I love having a variety of colours to choose from and I generally grab a bottle with each Dischem visit.
They continually change the range of colours so its always fun to check on new stock.
I really enjoy the shape of the brush and the ease of its application. It does have a good coverage and finish.

I Received the amazing Red ( I forgot the exact name of the colour, oops)Christmas Gel Nail Polish In the Essence Advent Calendar. I immediately tried it on and I fell in love straight away. I applied the colour to my bare nail , waited for 5 minutes and then applied a second coat. The colour is so rich, not streaky at all or clumpy and the best part is that it doesn't take long to dry.
For me personally the colour stayed on for about 2 weeks before the tips starting chipping. So overall amazing product has the shine of gel nail polish without the hefty price. The colour is stunning for the Christmas festive time and I find it goes with all my outfits and looks.

The essence gel range are a true life saver,being a wife and working lady ,i dont alway have time for having my nails done at a salon ,but with essence gel range ive had so many people ask me at what salon have you had you nails done and ofcourse what do i do? *smile :)* cause my trusted and tried essence nail polish has given me the best gel look , one coat usually last longer then applying a few coats but if yo do want a more intense colour a few colour usually does the trick, there a polish i usually use of essence its like a white under coat you put on before you apply a colour and it looks gorge and intense and no one will miss your stunning nails ,the colour range is amazing ,beautiful application and the price is really good ciao for now xx

this is a must have product, i have been using it since the begging of last year, and i fell in love with nail polish, as a working mother of a toddler i never have time to do my nails as often as i would like. There is a wide range of colours to pick from - the "dare it nude" shade is my favourite. The consistency of the polish is also really good, one coat will definitely do, but I like to add an extra coat.

Between my sisters and I, we own almost every shade from this collection. Whats not to love? Its an affordable way to having neat looking nails without the expensive salon price. The Gel finish is beautiful and it dries really fast!
As a fashion designer, I work with my hands daily and put a lot of strain on my nails so I'm lucky if I can go 7 days without chipping the colour. For me, 7 days is good enough, especially at this price and touching up is quick and easy.

You definitely get more value for your money. The packaging is cute and the applicator is wide enough for ones nail bed. The nail polish applies smoothly and lasts for up to a week, obviously depending on how often you work with water. I do mine by applying their base coat as well as top coat to have the nailpolish last a little longer.
This is a definite YES in my books and at the price they go for, One can purchase many colours.

The thing i love about this product the most is the brush that it comes with. It has a wide brush that can cover the nail more and when the nail polish is a thin layer, its the best and dries way faster. I have many colours and the ladies in my family also use them alot.
Essense is definitley a good brand.
The nail polish is pigmentated so you really dont have to apply alot of coats unless its a really light colour and you want it to have more colour.

Essence nail polish is amazing in terms of affordability and its wide range of colours. It also has a gorgeous finish once applied on nails .
Application brush size is a dream the wider the nail is. It however smudges so much if nails are broader. Thick brush also makes it difficult to reach the nail edges without over-smudging.
For me personally, the nail polish on my nails doesnt last very long. I must say though that the nail polish lasts so much longer when applied to artificial nails..
