I absolutely love this product. I think it's the best product for keeping your eyebrows in place for the entire day. I does not feel like 'gel' due to the thin consistancy. The only thing I don't like about this product is the fact that it weighs down mx eyelashes and I am not sure if it has something to do with the thickness of my eyelashes or not. If you're looking for a gel MASCARA, do not buy this product. But, it is perfect for keeping your eyebrows in place and super good for it's price which is amazing! Like I said..not recommended for your eyelashes.
At one point my eyebrows I had decided to regrow my eyebrows, as I wanted to reshape them and make them fuller and more natural. The entire regrowth phase was a mess, I constantly looked confused because of my eyebrows. I started using the Essence eyebrow gel and the gel would hold for an entire work day, which was amazing, strands never moved out of place and neither did it make my brows tacky or sticky. This now a monthly product even though my brows are on fleek
An inexpensive goodie. It keeps my brows put all day and although it starts off clear, it takes on the colour of my eyebrow pencil colour. I love it more after some use because it becomes a "tinted" brow gel.
I only use it as a browgel as I find it makes my mascara a little "goopey" so I stay away from that.
Love this product! I apply it before using my normal mascara. Important to let it dry properly then apply your usual mascara. Lengthens them, thickens them - pretty much a budget way to great lashes!
More often than not product fades... and this is not cute when the fading happened on your eyebrows!!! I often had instances when my eyebrow pencil would be gone by the end of the day *sigh* until I met this baby! I tested it out and it really works! you wont have to worry about your eyebrow pencil fading and it also gives your snatched eyebrows that final touch! LOVE IT
My holy grail eyebrow gel! Makes eyebrows stay in place for many hours - almost like superglue for your eyebrows! I also find it helps to make the brows looks a bit more natural if you have filled them in with a pencil or eyeshadow - it picks up the natural hairs. Only problem I find is that the wand picks up too much product so I have to wipe some off on the back of my hand but as for the price, it is definitely worth it.
This brow gel is one of my holy grail products. It keeps my eyebrows in place all day, without affecting my brow powder or pencil at all. Even without filling in my brows first, it makes them look so much more defined that I sometimes don't need to fill my brows in (HUGE timesaver!)
I love this gel, keeps my brows in place the whole day.It doesnt crisp my brows or affect my brow powders....Although it doesnt do a good job on the lashes,it works well on brows.Its affordable and a must-have
I bought this product a while back, and it serves it purpose. I've used before I apply mascara to give my fine lashes a bit of a boost and curl, I've used it alone for those days when I don't feel like wearing make up, (just so it looks like I have lashes lol) and I sometimes use it over my mascara once its dry to separate my lashes and neaten them out. I have used the gel on my eye brows but I prefer using it on my lashes. Because the gel is clear you can really get to the very fine hairs and as close to the lash line as possible without worrying about smudging black mascara over your eyes. Don't you just hate that!!
I love this product and use it as often as possible.it is great in that it doubles for lashes and brows giving you a fresh appearance without looking made up.because its colourless your own natural lashes are enhanced.making it perfect for poolside gym and a day at the beach
Felt a bit strange brushing gel onto my brows but oh my what a difference it makes! :) Keeps my eyebrows in their original shape ALL day!:) Love essence products and would definitely reccomend this to anyone looking to tame their brows ;) X
I love this stuff!! I recently started using it and it felt a bit weird brushing this gel on my eyebrows as I was scared it would dry funny, but it was perfect! my brows looked awesome all day long !
I love this product so much it sets brow powder to last all day! The only down side is it gets a little grungy after a while but I have seen that even the MAC brow clear gel also gets grungy.
Essence Lash and Brow Gel definitely competes with the best brow gels on sale at an affordable price! It instantly sets my brows without them appearing "wet & crunchy", which I hate! Don't waste your money on over priced eyebrow gel, they all tend to get a bit gunky after a while anyway! Replacing a R30 brow gel makes me feel a whole lot better than replacing a R100 brow gel. Highly recommend!
Having indian genes means that you are going to have bushy and thick brows. I have never had to fill in my brows ever.
Someone recommended this gel to me after I complained about my brows going in different directions. The gel kept my brows in place all day! Sometimes I would use a little eyeshadow to give me a bolder brow and this gel just helped me give my brows a more natural look.
I also like using it on my lashes when I know I am going to be too lazy to take my mascara off. It lengthens lashes but leaves it with an incredibly natural look.
One thing I hate is that after a while, your tube looks quite disgusting (since its a clear tube) due to the powder used on your brows. brows.
Since my eyebrows are not unruly and my lashes are naturally long, I find this an extremely useful product. I mainly use it for lashes as it surprisingly adds volume and it makes my brows more prominent and shapely. Great idea especially as it cannot make you look like a raccoon when it runs.
I always wanted to try clear mascara. When I saw one by essence, it was bound to end up in my shopping basket. It a perfect tool to tame unruly eyebrows, and works perfectly for eye lashes for those no-mascara days. I also tried it under mascara and it adds up quite a volume to my eyelashes. Now I have 2 tubes of it so that I don't transfer mascara pigments on to my eye brows.
If you looking for a budget lash and brow mascara, I would highly recommend Essence clear lash and brow mascara. It tames your unruly brows and adds a bit of volume to your eye lashes. I first apply this clear mascara on my eye lashes and then my regular mascara. It also helps to extend the use of your mascara when you feel it is a bit dry. But if you are using this clear mascara for both eyebrows and eye lashes it is always good to have separate tubes as you don't want to transfer bits of your mascara on to your eye lashes.
How can you not love it? It tames brows and gives lashes definition without weighing them down. This is perfect for someone who doesn't like having a mascara look because its invisible but makes lashes look amazing.
This was one of the first lash and brow gel which I've used. It was perfect to tame brows and make lashes look neat and tidy without the heavy feel of mascara.
I apply clear mascara before I apply normal mascara because it helps hold the curl in my lashes. My hair is naturally straight, so I need some extra help on the lash curling department and this product is perfect for that. I use to use the Palladio Clear Brow Gel but wanted to try this one out because it was R20 cheaper, and I love it! Like the Palladio one, it is nice and gentle and doesn't leave you lashes feeling hard or crispy at all (lol). It is perfect for girls with straight lashes, because when you apply this then curl your lashes with a lash curler, your lashes stay curled all day. You can then after apply your usual mascara on top for beautifl lucious lashes. I love that this product is gentle on lashes because I really can't afford to have them fall off or break off.
My eyebrows tend to do their own thing - they're not thick, but they don't like to stay in place. This product is absolutely amazing - the brush is a normal mascara brush, and the product does not make eyebrows shiny and hard like other products i have tested. It is extremely affordable (less than R30 if my memory serves) and lasts forever.
