I had used this mascara twice and on both occasions, it left my eyelashes feeling stiff to the point that it hurt when I blinked and as a contact lense wearer my eyes felt dry and often found the mascara flaking and falling into my eye which was quite uncomfortable and dangerous. it is also difficult to remove with the makeup removing wipes or pads and had to use and oil based makeup remover to get it out as it was stuck on the next day even after I used makeup removing wipes and facewash the night before and in the morning,
The price is just right for this mascara but I did not get the desired result. In fact, this mascara lumped and clumped my lashes so much I had to wash it off and re-apply at least twice.
I love essence products but I do not think all their products are very good quality. Do not get me wrong, I love the range and everything in it and the price does not hurt our pocket.
What I can't get over, is how this mascara makes my eyes water! The formula is somehow different to their other waterproof mascaras I own & it just doesn't work for me. Maybe I got a bad tube or something? The big brush isn't terrible, but its not great for precise work either and I find it to get clumpy fast. So even if the formula didn't sting my eyes, I still wouldn't reach for this over any of my other waterproof mascaras.
