This concealer covers spots and dark marks really well.
Its thick consistency is easy to build and apply with a concealer brush to get the desired coverage.
It stays put all day, and I like the fact that it comes with two different colors, as sometimes when I have more of a tan the darker color of the palette matches my skin tone more than the other side, or I use a mix of the two colors.

This is my Favourite concealer to use, to carve out my eye brows, it blends out so easily and just helps my eye brows look so neat, ive tried a few other brands but none of them are as affordable and easy to use as this one!

This is a duo concealer with one shade being slightly darker than the other, it is ultra creamy in texture. I find when I blend the two shades together I get the perfect shade for me to cover up dark circles under my eyes. It blends in really well and covers up good too. It doesn't fade or wear out and looks very natural.

I purchased the lightest shade, but it was still too dark and looks quite orange on my skin. It does provide decent coverage though. The consistency is a very thick cream concealer and for the price I think it is worth it.

Very budget friendly option that covers! I have dark pigmentation under my eyes and this does a great job of covering it! Stays on for most of the day. Small enough to carry around in my handbag for touch up if needed.

What intrigued me about this concealer is that you get two complementary shades. I bought it because I thought I could use the lighter shade under my eyes, and the darker shade happens to perfectly match my foundation. The formula is thick and creamy, and covers spots very well, but I find it to be too heavy to use under my eyes - it tends to crease because I can't get a thin enough layer on.
For the price, I think this product is good value for money, especially if you are able to use both shades.
I find that when I use a setting powder on top of this, any spots remain perfectly hidden all day. I have hit pan on the darker shade because I use it so often, but I haven't used much of the lighter shade. I now use a liquid concealer for my under-eye area.
At this price I would buy it again just to get a shade that matches my foundation so well and provides excellent coverage.

I have always been a huge Essence fan since the first day I laid eyes on them. It was at my local Clicks store, I seen nail polishes in the most vibrant colours, I just had to have them all! My heart probably skipped a beat and butterflies filled my tummy. My obsession started with the nail polishes but soon after that I discovered the Essence make-up range and completely fell in love. I was like a kid at a candy store just wanting to get my hands on everything. Since then my Essence collection has grown, what I like most about Essence products is the cute packaging, the great quality and not only is the quality good but so is the price tag it's super affordable. I love that it is cruelty free and I absolutely love the trend editions and the creativity and uniqueness of each product.
Today I am reviewing the Essence Pure Nude foundation, Pure Nude concealer stick and Camouflage cream concealer.
I recently recieved a bag full of Essence goodies to review unfortunately the foundation and concealer stick colours were too light for my skin so I popped into my nearest DisChem store and bought the darkest shades as there are only three different shades of the Pure Nude foundation and concealer stick.
Here are my thoughts on these products:
Essence Pure Nude Foundation
The foundation has a soft creamy texture and applies on easily. A pea size of the foundation goes a long way, the product blends on easily and it has very good coverage but even though it was the darkest shade it's still a bit light for my skin tone. I applied the foundation using my fingertips as I find foundation is easier to spread and blend and gives a flawless finish. I love that the foundation is light on my skin, it doesn't have that "cakey" heavy feeling it feels as if I'm not wearing any foundation.

The concealer stick applies on easily, there is not much coverage this could be because the concealer was way too light for my skin tone. What I liked most about this concealer is that it has soft and creamy texture and also feels very light on my skin as if I'm not wearing anything.

I bought this recently when there was a sale at Clicks. I love the packaging (it's small and contains two shades). I have a medium to dark skin tone so I was skeptical about how the light shades of this product would look on my skin.
The texture is smooth but quite thick so I suggest using a concealer brush for application. It went on great and blended well. I use this concealer under my foundation to lighten any blemishes or pigmentation. It works well for light to medium coverage, but I still prefer the Essence coverstick as a concealer as it provides full coverage with just one application.

I was a little disappointed in the product as it was the first time I've ever bought a concealer,it did not cover all of my dark marks and imperfections I wanted covered, but I realized that it did mask the bags under my eyes and it had brightened up the area as well and stayed put all day without creasing so over all I am still impressed because it is a essence product. I would repurchase this for under my eyes but not so much for covering the freckles on my nose or scaring on my face:)

This concealer is super affordable however I didn’t really like the quality of it. The pans are super tiny and left my skin looking cakey. I will recommend it to others but I won’t repurchase it myself

I bought this product during the 3 for 2 special at clicks, so it could complete my required 3 products. I usually use MAC concealer and have recently started using Flormar Perfect Coverage concealer for contouring purposes etc.
This product is great if you do not have a lot of space in your purse and want a product that can be taken every where you go for touch up purposes.
The product doesn't spread over my skin as easily as I'd like, the consistency is too thick which means it doesn't give me the coverage I desire.
I will not be purchasing this product again.
