I think because of the formula (hypo-allergenic, perfume-free, dermatologically tested and free from artificial colourants) it has become a staple in our home for both my Husband and our youngest and thankfully we have had NO eczema flare ups. ]]> Fri, 19 May 2017 12:02:02 +0000 <![CDATA[Epi-Max Body Moisturiser: Amazing moisturiser!]]> https://www.beautybulletin.com/epi-max-body-moisturiser/discussions/30528/ https://www.beautybulletin.com/epi-max-body-moisturiser/discussions/30528/ I knew about this when I took my daughter to the dermatologist because her skin had some nasty rash. So the doctor prescribed us this along with other creams, turns out she has eczema. Ever since we started using it her skin has improved even the cheeks , the patches on the cheeks cause by the cold weather have gone. Now I know what a moisturiser is. The dermatologist told me to also use the cream on my skin. And I have been using as a night cream, I tell you it has made a huge difference, when I wake in the morning I can feel the difference in the texture of my skin and supple it is. The cream is not scented, looks like a regular aqueous cream, I like the texture of it too. Creamy and you can tell it has water in it. You feel the moisture as soon as it touches your skin. Great product for dry skin and to use in winter. ]]> Wed, 07 Sep 2016 10:41:02 +0000 <![CDATA[Epi-Max Body Moisturiser: Epi max junior & baby ]]> https://www.beautybulletin.com/epi-max-body-moisturiser/discussions/29290/ https://www.beautybulletin.com/epi-max-body-moisturiser/discussions/29290/ I bought this for my son when he had some sun rash on his face. I liked it because it helped remove the rash and is mild and gentle on the skin. It definitely cleared the rash however it's quite oily if you use it on your face so rather use it at night. As a body moisturiser I think this is perfect in winter as it is a thick consistency that deeply penetrates the skin and seals in moisture. If you have dry skin this is a great product as it helps not only to moisturise but also to repair the damaged skin. ]]> Fri, 13 May 2016 17:56:38 +0000 <![CDATA[Epi-Max Body Moisturiser: Constantly reaching for this]]> https://www.beautybulletin.com/epi-max-body-moisturiser/discussions/26190/ https://www.beautybulletin.com/epi-max-body-moisturiser/discussions/26190/ I keep a pump bottle of Epi-Max in my kitchen so after cooking and washing my hands (which is a few times a day) I apply this lotion. It is a life saver for the over-worked skin. I have been using this for about 5 months now and honestly cannot see myself without it. Only improvement I would make is to add an SPF into the product. But other than that, a lovely product that I would compare closely to your normal aqueous creams. ]]> Wed, 14 Oct 2015 12:00:55 +0000 <![CDATA[Epi-Max Body Moisturiser: Epi-Max Body Moisturiser]]> https://www.beautybulletin.com/epi-max-body-moisturiser/discussions/26182/ https://www.beautybulletin.com/epi-max-body-moisturiser/discussions/26182/ For the past 4 years, I've been using Epimax Junior Moisturiser on my son, who used to very dry skin, bordering on eczema. When he was baby, I used to use this instead of soap (as I found that Aqueous Cream didn't work as much), and it left his skin beautifully soft. It also absorbs very quickly and I love that it doesn't have any fragrance that could irritate his delicate skin. He's now almost five years old and this is the ONLY moisturiser he uses. For myself I sometimes use it instead of a normal night cream, especially in winter, as it moisturises quite well. Definitely perfect for dry and sensitive skin. ]]> Wed, 14 Oct 2015 10:19:11 +0000 <![CDATA[Epi-Max Body Moisturiser: Therapy]]> https://www.beautybulletin.com/epi-max-body-moisturiser/discussions/26166/ https://www.beautybulletin.com/epi-max-body-moisturiser/discussions/26166/ I have mixed feelings about Epi - max i started using it about 5 years ago, i never used to use hand cream, but my hands and feet became addicted to this. Now up until this day if you were to ask me 'what couldnt you leave the house without' everyone i know would say epi max I really would like to stop using it, only because its got to a point where if i wash my hands i have to use this cream, no other cream helps So as much as it is my life saver, i also wish i never had to use it again ]]> Tue, 13 Oct 2015 18:48:14 +0000 <![CDATA[Epi-Max Body Moisturiser: A WINTER MUST HAVE!!! ]]> https://www.beautybulletin.com/epi-max-body-moisturiser/discussions/23425/ https://www.beautybulletin.com/epi-max-body-moisturiser/discussions/23425/ I actually bought the EPI MAX all purpose moisturizer because my 3 year old son's legs were quite dry and normal aqueous cream wasn't helping much. He kept scratching his legs which made it worse. I couldn't believe the results after using it for a week. My teenage daughter was so impressed she started using it as a daily moisturizer. She has extremely sensitive skin which also tend to get dry from time to time. It worked for her skin, within a couple of days she could see a difference. In winter the area around my mouth gets quite dry and my normal day cream doesn't seem to hydrate my skin so I gave EPI Max a shot and now I'm totally hooked. Its the only moisturizer I'm using at the moment. It's a definite winter must have!!!!! ]]> Thu, 04 Jun 2015 11:35:50 +0000 <![CDATA[Epi-Max Body Moisturiser: Epi- Max Moisturiser ]]> https://www.beautybulletin.com/epi-max-body-moisturiser/discussions/18370/ https://www.beautybulletin.com/epi-max-body-moisturiser/discussions/18370/ I've been using this moisturiser for quite some time because I suffer from eczema on my arms. It is very moisturising and actually helped a lot with my eczema. I love how it is so rich and moisturising, however it doesn't leave that greasy feeling on skin. I find it to be the most affordable moisturiser for extremely dry or irritated skin. Plus it is fragance free so it definitely doesn't irritate skin anymore than it could possibly be. ]]> Tue, 08 Jul 2014 14:28:16 +0000 <![CDATA[Epi-Max Body Moisturiser: Absolutely effective]]> https://www.beautybulletin.com/epi-max-body-moisturiser/discussions/17462/ https://www.beautybulletin.com/epi-max-body-moisturiser/discussions/17462/ Epimax plus is widely recommended by dermatologists for dry, scaly skin conditions including eczema!my son is so atopic he reacts even to the labels in his clothing and the soap powder used to wash his clothes so this became a staple in the house! It contains cetamacrogol and glycerine as well as urea so it performs the function of a keratolytic( sloughing agent) whilst moisturising deeply! Considering the price of other dermatologically suitable products this is dirt cheap and works very effectively on skins all ages ! ]]> Sun, 15 Jun 2014 18:34:48 +0000 <![CDATA[Epi-Max Body Moisturiser: Epi-Max Skin Moisturiser]]> https://www.beautybulletin.com/epi-max-body-moisturiser/discussions/16132/ https://www.beautybulletin.com/epi-max-body-moisturiser/discussions/16132/ A BRILLIANT product, which my Pediatrician recommended for both my babies when they were infants for the eczema. It was a incredibly cheap alternative to eczema lotions and much gentler on their very sensitive skin. Both my lassies have sensitive skins and get rashes from grass, sun exposure and certain fragrance body lotions. Their fragrance free range I couldn't live without! Its great for adults too for those winter heels and elbows. ]]> Sun, 23 Mar 2014 16:28:02 +0000 <![CDATA[Epi-Max Body Moisturiser: Epi max]]> https://www.beautybulletin.com/epi-max-body-moisturiser/discussions/14801/ https://www.beautybulletin.com/epi-max-body-moisturiser/discussions/14801/ this product works great. Most creams just sit on your skin and don't really get absorbed. I have suffered with dry skin all my life. Not anymore... Epi-Max is dermatologist approved and really works. I have never used another cream in the middle of winter and felt my skin to be super soft and nourished. It lasts for the day, absorbs into your skin and you won't look ashy and grey anymore. It can be used for your face as well. (I've got my boss hooked on it - he says it helps after shaving and he doesn't get dry skin anymore.) You will notice the difference in a few days! Your skin will be supple, soft and feel nourished from the inside. Quick Tip: Apply your body moisturiser as soon as you get out of the shower. Don't dry your body too much, just dab lightly with your towel. This helps with better absorption. Luvies, LC ]]> Wed, 05 Dec 2012 11:18:01 +0000
