So, I’ve now been using this variant for a week and am quiet loving it. The canister isn’t as luxurious or golden hued but is still very sleek and modern looking with a golden band. The canister is full black in a round-edged rectangular shape. It simply has gold writing on the front. The box is the same mirrored gold and silver as all the cosmetics in the Beautiful Color Range. The mascara is intense and creamy; it goes on smoothly and with the fibrous brush, clings to lashes from root to tip. It gives lashes a dramatic, dense and doll-eyed look that’s full and dark. The lash-enhancing formula dramatically thickens lashes as it separates and defines each lash. This mascara has a patented dual polymer system which makes lashes strong yet soft and flexible. The formula doesn’t flake, smudge, smear or rub off and it lasts all day long. From dusk till dawn my lashes look incredible and yet feel like I’m wearing nothing at all. The formula is dermatologically, clinically and ophthalmologist tested making it suitable for sensitive eyes as well as contact lens users. This was a R180 mistake well made as it left me with another Elizabeth Arden product that is exceptional.
