I struggle to keep my hair in good condition due to having a thryoid problem which dries my hair out. I have been using this shampoo for just over a month now & find that it agrees with my hair and gives me some respite from the dryness between washes. I had my hair cut last weekend and even the hairdresser remarked that the condition of my hair had improved-a first in 20 years.

I enjoyed trying out this product, it smells really amazing as all dove products do! The Shampoo made my hair feel so clean, the treatment Conditioner made my hair hard to style after using it. I tried to use and then leave my hair to dry naturally and then it was amazing no frizz, very light and bouncy!

Did not enjoy this product at all. Felt like it did the total opposite for me. After using these products it made my hair feel weighed down and greasy. Would not use it again.

Received my Dove Nourishing oil Shampoo and Conditioner. Just after two washes i can feel the difference in my hair. I dye my hair often and it normally dry and brittle and frizzy..After using the two I can easily slip comb through my hair and , My hair is glossy and much smoother.

The new DOVE NOURISHING OIL CARE RANGE SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER is the best. It has a yellowish, thick,smooth,creamy texture which smells divine. I have used it the past week and my hair feels silky and soft. Would definite recommend it to all to try at least once, you wont be sorry.

My hair and skin is prone to being oily and I tend to stay away from anything that has the word "oil" in it. It was with trepidation that I initially tried the product, but I was more than pleasantly surprised. After using both shampoo and conditioner for 9 days, my hair is soft and silky and not at all the oily mess it normally would be after conditioning daily. What I have found, though, is that my skin is slightly more oily than before, but that it is easily managed by not conditioning every day. Do yourself a favour and try Dove Nourishing Oil Shampoo and Conditioner for a week - your hair will thank you for it.

I am so impressed with the Dove nourishing oil care shampoo & oil care daily treatment conditioner. Even during application I could feel it work it's magic. With a squirt of the potion my hair's natural shine was brought back to life. The Dove magician also added the most refreshing magical aroma :) I am hooked to this magic and will absolutely use the product again!!

The Dove Nourishing Oil care shampoo and conditioner is simply outstanding. The fragrance and texture is luxurious and it feels like your wrapped in silk and pearls, I wish I could apply it to my whole body! The fragrance also followed me until my next wash. My dry hair lapped up all the nutritious oils in the gold ribbon, without making it oily or heavy, it just soaks right into the hair. Everyone was dazzled by the mirror shine my hair suddenly has, my hair looks incredibly healthy and all the frizz is gone. I literary can't wait to have my next wash! And for the reasonable price it is selling for I'm not holding back. Thank you very much Dove and Beautybulletin.

I was very excited to have been chosen to review this set by Dove as I read all the reviews from the other members on how amazing the other range is.
Firstly, my scalp is very dry and flaky due to medication that I am on. I was really happy to see that the shampoo didnt dry it out any more than usual. I love the golden creamy texture of it and it feels heavenly when lathering. My hair didnt feel parched and stringly when I rinsed this out which made me very happy.
I then followed with the conditioner and it simply glided into my hair. I combed it through then rinsed it out. I hair was unbelievably soft after rinsing. It felt like silk. I then heat styled as per usual and my hair looked positively radiant. I will definitely purchase this as I am more that happy with the results.

Im not one to usually combine my everyday shampoo and a Treatment. So I wondered how the Dove Nourishing Oil Care Daily Treatment Shampoo and Conditioner would work since the treatment usually weighs my hair down and thats why I only do it once a week.
I love this product though. It has all the lightness of a daily shampoo and conditioner with the care and deep nourishment of a treatment.
I love the consistency which is wonderful gel like and tinted Gold- which is luxurious. Most of all the fragrance is delicious, and stays in your hair much longer than any other shampoo or conditioner.
I advise it, its affordable and is great!

Another awesome product from Dove! I've been using the Dove nourishing shampoo and conditioner for a week and have seen the difference already! My hair is more manageable and a heaven sent!

I must say i am so impressed with the product i would think twice about changing over to Dove hair products.
The first thing that got me was the absolute amazing fragrance-it really is something amazing, a mixture between Pantene, Loreal and all things gorgeous lol.
The products left my hair with an amazing shine, did not weigh my hair down and although it has nourishing oils my hair was not extra oily.
I am so impressed with this range I really would stake my name on this range, well done n thank you Dove.

It all started when I opened the padded envelope, containing the two Dove products... Dove Nourishing Oil Care Shampoo, with it's companion complement, the Nourishing Oil Care Daily Treatment Conditioner. What a beautifully 'yummy' fragrance! My unexciting day became a little more intruiging, and I found myself heading for home and desperately wanting to wash my hair!
I have finely textured hair, but quite a lot of it (fortunately). Although admittedly a little apprehensive about using a product that boasted 'oil care', (as I tend to have an oily scalp, and dry ends) I set out to test the products. On first impression, the product texture is 'luxe', and rich and thick in texture - and I honestly felt as tho I was embarking on a decadent pampering session... ahhhh, that fragrance!!!!
Firstly, my fears about the 'oil care' shampoo making my hair limp or 'heavy' certainly did not hold up. In fact, after lathering the shampoo into my hair, it felt clean, not stripped of natural oils and easy to rake my fingers through... (which, in my own personal experience)h is often not easy with highlighted or colour treated hair!). Ok, so, Shampoo = successful - tick!
Now on to the Nourishing Oil Care Daily Treatment Conditioner.... I applied the conditioner to my mid-length and ends, leaving for a minute or so to penetrate. Once again, the texture, the colour and the fragrance of the conditioner is temptingly edible... its like lathering your head in caramel. Safe to say, I didn't venture a taste... that would have been a bit weird - no?! *;-)
The result of my Nourishing Oil Care Shampoo and Conditioner trial is that : (1) my trademark fly-away, dry ends now look healthier, my hair certainly enjoys more body, and frizziness seems to be a thing of the past.
I'm extremely excited about these new Dove products. It got me to thinking about what women really want when it comes to beauty and grooming... On the top of my list are, good, clear skin, a body weight that I'm happy with, and of course, the accessory of all accessories, good hair!!!! I'm pleased to say that since I've used these two products under review, I've experienced several GOOD HAIR DAYS!!!!
... & girls, when you have a 'good hair day' everything else seems to fade into insignificance and the confidence levels are definitely boosted! Dont tell me that you dont swagger or walk differently when you know your locks are luminous and healthy!
I admit to being ignorant as to the retail cost of these products, but knowing the Dove brand, they will be quality and affordable -and even if they did tip the top of the prices scales, I'd unhesitatingly recommend them to all and sundry. You're looking at a great quality product, offering the promised results.... & we're talking about your most prized, effective accessory, your 'crowning glory' here! Go for it. You wont be sorry.

As much as i love this shampoo but mostly the conditioner there is no way, a single mom of two can afford it. I got a shock when i saw the price for the conditioner in clicks, i wash my hair everyday and love my conditioner, cause i dye my hair very often... Pity, I know you cant put a price on quality, but i have priorities

This is by far the most affordable hair products I've ever seen, plus they work and produce amazing results, which is exactly what I would expect from Dove. The smell of this shampoo and conditioner is so devine, and it leaves hair feeling soft and silky smooth. However I've noticed that if my hair is oily I have to wash it twice or thrice for it to be absolutely squeeky clean!

This shampoo helped clean my hair gently, without stripping any moisture. I was worried that this 'oil nourishing' product would leave my fine hair limp: however, it left my hair clean, light and bouncy, while still being soft, shiny and nourished.
The shampoo has a subtle, 'clean' fragrance that is very pleasant. This lather of the shampoo didn't feel harsh or soapy like some can, instead it felt 'richer', if that makes sense, probably because of the oils. I could tell that this was a pampering, nourishing shampoo :)
Overall, I enjoyed using this product and will continue to use it, as well as recommending it to my friends :)

I have to confess, I was a little skeptical about a shampoo and conditioner from a brand that I've grown up with being synonymous with body lotions..
But I was so pleasantly surprised!
The shampoo has quite a thick and creamy consistency, but still lathers well enough and leaves your hair squeaky clean, without it feeling dried out. This can be contributed to to do with the Weightless Nutri-Oil System (used in both the shampoo and the conditioner) which deeply nourishes & replenish, without weighing the hair down. This unique nourishing care system contains (as they call it) weightless natural almond and coconut oils, made up of super fine molecules, which allows it to be absorbed much quicker and deeper.
It was the conditioner that really made a lasting impression on me! I have a very busy lifestyle, so I very rarely have time to apply Hair Masks / Treatments & sit with it on for 5-10 min while it does its thing, before rinsing it out again. The Dove Nourishing Oil Care Daily Treatment Conditioner is a conditioner slash treatment that you can use daily, or as often as you wash your hair. And you only have to leave it in for 1min! I could definitely feel a difference to my hair after just one wash and condition. My hair was much softer & smoother and a lot less frizzy.
Both the shampoo and conditioner have the same, very subtle sweet fragrance.

I have received 'Dove go fresh Nourishing Beauty Shower Fresh Touch'; Cucumber & Green tea scent. When I received my parcel at the Post Office Counter, the first impression was "Oh, what a heavenly fragrance"; long-lasting with a pleasant effect but not at all overwhelming. It is really deliciously perfumed - as fresh as springtime . I love the sturdy, good quality 'stopper' with the lift up 'stopper' that could withstand all the Post Office handling without even the slightest spill! Elegant, very up-to-date, stand-up bottle in soft lines. Showering became an experience of blissful and refreshing indulgence. A good amount, thick 'gel-like' blob frothed amazingly enough, leaving my skin feeling soft, smooth and beautifully moisturized. What a winner! On my shopping list for sure - so glad that I received and thus discovered this lovely Dove go fresh product!

This range hasn'let me down. The shampoo smells pleasant and cleans the hair thoroughly and didn't have to use too much of the product.
But i guess the star is conditioner. It looks so lovely and luxurios with the gold line and makes you feel great even before application. My hair felt very managable and soft after washing it off. I styled my hair in the usual manner and it was quite easy to do.
I usually apply olive or some hair oil before i wash and condition my hair. so , to test its effectiveness and it being an oil infused range , next time i skipped the oiling and straight went to wash and condition. I loved the look and feel of my hair and didn't miss the no oil routine.
I like the product a lot and might just go and buy the serum to see how everything fits togetherr.
If you looking for a decently priced , great hair care products i think you cant go wrong with Dove Nutri oil range. Great for upcoming summer months where beaches and pool water tends to strip hair of oils and moisture.

With the conditioner, at first, i didn't know why there were two different colours when I squeezed a R5 coin amount onto my hand. I do have very long hair, so I do need a certain amount to cover it. But once I saw the bottle's writing, then I understood. My hair used to have lots of knots, and I always need to use a lot of conditioner to smooth it out, but with Dove, I only need about a R5 coin size on my palm, and massage my head with it, and comb it out. My hair didn't feel greasy, it felt very nourished and coated with Dove conditioner, and it moisturised my hair from root to tip.
Even when it is dried by a hair dryer, I don't see any dryness in my hair, and it feels very healthy and looks shiny and healthy. It also gives a little bit of volume too.

Even when it is dried by a hair dryer, I don't see any dryness in my hair, and it feels very healthy and looks shiny and healthy. It also gives a little bit of volume too.
Overall, I think it is a good product, and is affordable, and can last a good 1-2 months for a small 250ml bottle set. I am happy with it, and I don't need to fork out money for expensive salon products.

On the package is says “ Dove’s unique nourishing care system contains a weightless blend of natural almond and coconut oils which are rapidly absorbed to deeply nourish and replenish essential nutrients”
I do agree. I like the packaging as I do not like to buy bottles too big, so this is good for the space in the shower. You really only need to use a very little amount as it is quite foamy. It’s got a lovely rich golden colour and smells nice too.

on its own, this shampoo is great, leaving the hair squeeky clean but soft enough to know that you are using a very nourishing product!
when used in conjunction with any other Dove conditioner, results are still great but not entirely satisfying in terms of frizz.

As I am Hypothroid my hair is normally in an awful condition. I tried out the Dove shampoo today and all I can say is WOW! my hair is soft, but manageable and not a sign of frizz and smells like a country garden. Thank you Beauty Bulletin for sending me this product!!!

The Dove conditioner coupled with the shampoo has made by hair dance with joy!! I cannot begin to tell you how fantastic my hair feels for the 1st time in 2 years. As mentioned in the shapoo review, I am Hypothroid & have had an uphill battle trying to find the right mix for my troubled hair-I must have the largest collection of different shampoos and conditioners& what not in the country-now they are all going in the bin!!!Thank you Dove and Beauty Bulletin for making my life a little easier. This shampoo is amazing. As I straighten my hair often it tends to get dry and rough, so I was very excited to receive this product. It made my hair feel strong and smooth, as well as shiny. I love the weightless nutri oils and I feel they really do replenish the lost nutrients in my hair. This shampoo has a pleasant scent and I would definitely recommend it. It is worth it for the price you pay.

I have only recently started using the product (thanks to BeautyBulletin)and OMG, why didn't I use it before. I use my hair straightner every single day and that always left my hair dry and I am embarrassed to say but it would start itching after a while because it was so dry. Now, I can style my hair and it doesn't itch and stays straight, shiny and healthy until the next wash.
Dove have certainly got a winner with this product and I will NEVER use another product again. Come on ladies.....TRY IT :)

What's there not to love? It cleans all the residue, dirt and oil from my hair. This shampoo restores scalp back to normal, moisturized, and shiny in no time. Use the shampoo and conditioner together for best results.
The packaging and smell is devine, as I have mentioned on the video review as well, the only problem I have with this is the static. my hair is static like crazy when I use this. Maybe Dove can't handle my electric vibes? Hehe, kidding!

I had the joy of trying Dove Nourishing Oil Care Daily Shampoo and Conditioner thanks to BB and I must say that I am in love with it.
My hair has always been so dry, dull, brittle and fizzy and no matter what ever product i used it always made my hair dry. After washing my hair with Dove Shampoo and Conditioner ,I noticed a big difference, it left my hair feeling smooth and silky and smelling divine. The almond oil and minerals nourished my hair from root to tip. It also made my hair less fizzy and has made my curls more defined. The price is great and you dont have to use alot because of its thick formula.
The Shampoo and Conditioner has helped my hair alot and i would recommend everyone else to try it.

Upon reading the label I have to say that I was terribly skeptical about this product. You find so many that promise but don't deliver. The second thing that worries me a bit is that it contained oils.....as these tend to leave your hair oily very quickly.
I tried the product and was pleasantly surprised. No Frizz, soft flowing hair and best of all, I didnt even have to use my flat iron. The next morning by hair was still full of bounce, no frizz and not oily.

I received this product from the FAB girls at Beauty Bulletin and I am oh-so happy that I did! The packaging is attractive and the gold and white colouring alludes to a luxury product. It’s also an indication as to the glorious oils within. The packaging is also very smooth to the touch (just like my hair!) and has a comfortable fit in the hands. It has a gorgeous smell, lovely and light and the product itself is like molten gold. The packaging lid opens up easily enough and the product squeezes out easily as well.
The shampoo is housed in a 200ml bottle and I found that it works really well with my hair type. I wouldn’t describe my hair as particularly dry right now, seeing that we’re moving closer to the warmer months but I know that in winter, this product is going to be my saving grace. The thing that made me happiest about the shampoo is that there was no “adjustment period” necessary. Usually when I try a new shampoo, it takes about 2 to 3 washes for my hair to feel normal but with this, it was instantaneous. Looking at the product, I’d say they were marketing this towards the 25-85 age groups! We know that Dove is all about natural beauty and even my grandmother was recommended to use Dove shampoo. My hair feels so soft and silky and even when I let it air dry, it looks amazing!

I seriously enjoy using this shampoo because it reminds me of honey - the colour and scent of it makes it such a treat to use that you almost tend to look for excuses to wash your hair. I like that it really foams up well and that it's not at all harsh on my hair. A lot of the time shampoos tend to strip my hair of all it's natural moisture and protective oils that they are unpleasant to use. This shampoo is gentle while giving you a good cleansing. Used together with the Treatment conditioner this range is truly remarkable. For a supermarket brand I am seriously impressed with the quality and results! I like it so much that I might consider switching to it over the Aussie range I use currently...but I'll have to see - I tend to be very brand loyal.

First off ... thank you to the gorgeous BB ladies for sending me this product - I am SO in love!! If ever there was an enthusiastic fan of the new Dove Shampoo & Conditioner, it's me!
OUTSIDE: Attractive packaging, professional appearance. The gold print looks good, but the word “shampoo” is a bit on the small side, which could be problematic for people who wear spectacles. I guess you could "teach yourself to remember” that the upright bottle is the Shampoo, but I’d prefer if the font was larger/bolder for ease of use.
Nice sturdy bottle with a wide base (no toppling). I like the cap with the prominent lip for ease of opening. The previous Dove product did not have a very prominent lip and my fingers used to slip when trying to open it with wet hands.
INSIDE: The fragrance is amazing! It’s a clean, invigorating smell of coconut and almond oils. A little product goes a long way, so you don’t need a lot of Shampoo to work up a rich lather – just a bit in your palm. It rinses well without leaving a residue.
It’s difficult to describe the product and really do it justice (you should try it yourself), but I think it’s magnificent! Unilever/Dove is definitely on to a good thing!

I tried out this Shampoo a couple of weeks ago for the first time as my hair was very dry and in need of some moisture. After the first wash I was so impressed with this. It cleaned and improved the texture of my hair. I could feel it before I used the conditioner. Impressed with the consistency of the shampoo and it washes out quite well. 10/10 for Dove
