I washed the weave the the shampoo then left the conditioner for up to an hour and then rinsed with cold water, and then blow dried it at low heat. The weave was so soft and my hands was just running through it effortlessly and I was really surprised. A month ago my hair was very flat and boring, and I was looking for some inspiration to switch up my hair a bit, Dove came just in time. After using the Oxygen Moisture shampoo and conditioner my curls were more defined and bouncy; and my flat hair gained some life. The Intensive Repair Treatment Mask helped to combat breakage by strengthening and nourishing my hair. The ends of my hair is very damaged so inevitably there was a lot of breakage when I brushed through, but after the treatment mask the breakage has definitely been reduced. Even though the trial is done and I have given my final verdict, I will undoubtedly continue using this product. I would recommend anyone with fine, flat and damaged hair to give Dove a try. Although I don’t have fine and flat hair that was the only choice of shampoo in my box I received, but loving the Dove brand so much I decided to give it a try anyhow as I have highlighted hair and I need to give my dried out parts some TLC. First of it smells Devine, but second of all I have quite thick hair and its shoulder length, which means that when I use the shampoo I have to squeeze out quite a bit of product, so in this case a little does not go a long way on my hair, but I’m sure for people with fine shorter hair a little bit will work just as fine. It does not foam as much as I would like it to, but what I find that helps is that I rinse and repeat, and then it foams like I like it to. The shampoo left my hair feeling dull and lifeless and caused my hair to break off during the washing process. It did however clean my hair very well which I was very happy with! After using the conditioner, however, my hair felt more smooth and manageable but still left my hair very flat, which is not what I am looking for as I love my big curly hair. Firstly, let me touch on packaging. The bottles look great, they are simple with metallic writing on a white into blue ombre coloured bottle. The writing is , the ml and what the benefits are visible on the bottle. I have natural hair so I use Sulphate free products, it doesnt indicate if the shampoo is sulphate free however I still tried it. I also have fine hair so Im looking for products that offer volume and the Oxygen moisture was perfect for this! The shampoo did not leave my hair feeling dry(i was happy about this) & the conditioner sealed alot of the moisture that shampoo tends to strip away from our hair. Next I used the treatment mask, its called the Intensive Repair mask with Nutri-Keratin Actives. Loved it! It made my hair really smooth and soft, after leaving it in my hair for 10mins. PS: I also used the same process(shampoo, conditioner and mask) on my weave and not only was it exceptionally clean, but it was really soft, as if it hadnt been worn before. Ive trusted Dove from face products to body products and I can definitely say their hair series is just as great!
