Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief Moisturiser

I naturally have oily skin but tend to struggle with it feeling dry (not sure if I make sense). I explained this to the lady at the Clinique counter while purchasing my skincare products and she recommended this product. I have been on this product for over 2 years. After application, my skin feels like it literally had a glass of water. A little goes a long way. It does not have an oily base which is what I feel makes it great for my oily skin neither does it make your skin feel too watery after some time. You can never go wrong with this product.

This is by far the best moisturizer I have ever used. My skin is very dry during the winter months and Clinique Moisture Surge is on top of its game! Even during summer it is a light weight moisturizer that leaves my skin radiant and matt-looking. I never want to go without it!

For years I have struggled to find a moisturizer that actually works for my skin. I have combination skin, but drier than anything else. I also have occasional breakouts on my t-zone. With a lot of moisturizers for dry skin, it was either too oily and would cause me to break out or if it's for combination skin, it would not moisturize my skin enough.

With the Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief Moisturiser, my skin feels and looks hydrated, without having any breakouts. My skin looks and feels moisturized all day, without having that oily look.

This product has really worked wonders for my skin. However, everyone's skin is different and it might not work for someone else the way it does for me, but it is worth the try. If it works for your skin, you'll be sure to continue using it.

I received a mini when I purchased a skincare set, however I didn't find myself reaching for this as much as I would have liked. It didn't offer my skin as much moisture as I expected and for the price, I wasn't able to load it onto my skin.

I am really enjoying this moisturiser.

The consistency is nice - it is not thick or heavy, but rather has a light gel texture to it. It has that typical Clinique scent that I go absolutely gaga for.

It does not just sit on top of the skin after application and therefore hydrates deeply. I don't feel that it actually increases my oil production nor does it control it. I love using it in the evenings just so that I can wake up with smooth and supple skin.

It is pricey, but a little really does go a long way.

When ever I hear the word "Moisture" or "hydration" or "thirst relief" in a moisturiser my head immediately goes to "oh! its a dry skin product" , so I tend to steer clear from those types of moisturiser because I have oily skin and the dreaded thought of adding a "hydrating" moisturiser on to my skin, gives me the shivers.

I received a few samples of the Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief Moisturiser as I needed a really good night cream.The product is a light pink gel-like texture and very little is needed. After using the Moisture Surge for about a week every night, I saw an amazing difference in my skin.

Results:
-My skin was looking more healthier
-It felt more plump/supple
-My skin felted hydrated and not oily

By only concern is the price, this a pricey product, so I'm glad I received samples to try as I would of never purchased the full size If I didn't try it out first.

I find that this is suitable for all skin types including combination skin types.My skin is so happy with me when I use this...though a skin is oily it does get dehydrated...that's when you see your makeup doesn't set well and your skin is dull...The clinique moisture surge just rejuvenates and gives back life to skin...

To start off, Clinique's Moisture Surge Range is now my new skincare obsession! This moisturiser is perfect for South Africa's hot, sticky, humid summer.

As a gel-like moisturiser, the formula works so well with my oily skin. It's lightweight, non-greasy, and untraceable. It also doesn't burn around my eye and mouth area. My skin is consistently hydrated with disappeared early signs of ageing.

I recommend using this together with the other products in the Moisture Surge range, as your skin will reap the maximum benefits.

We all know how hard the winter months can be on our skin, especially if you have dry combination skin like me. Personally the signs of dryness on my face start on my forehead – I would moisturise my face and literally immediately feel my skin is moist enough, until I took a closer look at my face. Upon closer inspection I noticed that the skin on my forehead was looking rather scaly. How was it possible that during the course of the day my skin would appear to be normal and yet immediately after moisturizing there’s scaly skin? I try to drink at least 1.5L of water daily and in my world that should have been enough to keep my skin hydrated. Well I was wrong.

While I was trying to find a solution on which product to now use, I suddenly had a light bulb moment “ping”. Every night after taking a bath, I would do my normal routine of washing, cleansing and moisturising my face. I would then wrap-up the process by gently massaging the Moisture Surge on my entire face. Except for the fact that this little baby comes in a cute packaging (glass bottle and the product itself is pink), it basically did wonders for the dry skin.

The product felt like gel in my hands and upon application you would expect it to leave your face looking and feeling greasy. But trust me none of that happens. This Moisture Surge made my face feel cooler and refreshed and I could literally feel the tightness of my skin loosening up. After a couple of minutes your face looks like you only applied a moisturiser. And trust me I didn’t expect it to look like that since the product felt like gel in my hands.

If you suffer from dry skin throughout the year, then this is the product for you. Let your skin soak that moisture that we all so badly need.

This is a product that comes out when Winter comes along. I've always had small sample sizes laying around as they usually come in their extra bags, or with complimentary gifts.

I like that my face literally soaks up this gel like moisturiser. It dries very quickly, so there is no time wasted on waiting for it to soak up.

I love that its in the tiny pot, I keep it in my make up bag, and in my car. I tend to have dryness under my eye area and on my fore head.

Definitely recommend this product for dryness and especially for the winter skin.

The feeling of this moisturizer is out of this world fantastic!! It feels so plump and supple and instantly revives skin. It's addictive, It's fantastic! Love it's gelish texture. As usual a fantastic product from clinique. Love clinique

i like this one for winter months when my skin is dull and dry. its got a great plumping firming feeling to it and feels amazing on skin! and it doesn't clog up my skin or give me brake outs so thats a plus for something that provides so much relief and moisture !! and a little goes a long way with this one so it may be pricy but it lasts forever

These last few weeks I have been struggling with severely dehydrated skin. I suspect it was caused by a certain powder I was using to set my makeup.

I realized my skin needed some TLC asap and I then decided that I wanted to try Clinique (my first time). The Clinique lady was very helpful and immediately noticed my problem. She then suggested that I use the moisture surge range.

I have been using it for almost a week now and love the results so far. The dry, flaky patches on my brow bone and around my mouth is clearing up. My skin feels soft and silky and just looks so much better! Very happy with this product!

I read a review about this on the blog AllDolledUp, and have to say, I went straight to the Clinique counter at my local Red Square.

I have terribly sensitive skin, so didn't really want to fork out over R400 for something that I might react badly to, and the sales lady was so helpful that she gave me a little tub that she put the product into, the test it out.

It didn't irritate my skin at all, and even left my skin feeling smooth and almost matte, instead of sticky and greasy! However, it really really nourished my skin, especially the dry, dehydrated patches around my nose and my chin, that were suffering after winter.

The price is insane, as I'd use this up in (dragging it out) about 2 months, and I really couldn't justify spending that amount of money on just my face cream.

I have, however, found something that is pretty close to it - the Body Shop have a vitamin e 'sorbet' of sorts for your face (in a small glass pink jar) and it is the same consistency, and smells even better! It's done the same job for a MUCH more attractive price!

I've just used the last bit of this amazing gel and I want to go off and get another jar! I only use this when my skin feels dried out, be it because of the weather or for other reasons. It instantly replenishes moisture loss and rejuvenates my skin. Great treat for thirsty skin!

I love this product - whenever my skin is feeling tight/stretched I give it a dose of moisture surge. I never react badly to it and within minutes my skin feels soft and moisturised. I love the smoothness it leaves as well.
It is a bit pricey though so I only use it as needed. Though with Joburg winters that's quite often!

For a burst of moisture at any time, this is a great help to replenish skin and moisturise.

This is an amazing product and is perfect for dry skin or sensitive skin because it makes skin feel so amazingly soft and smooth after use and gives skin a lovely light glow. Skin feels amazing after use and theres no oily residue.

As the name suggests, this cream is all about the moisture. I wasn't sure that this would be right for my skin as I have a combination to oily skin type but I gave it a go with the hopes that it would work. I wasn't disappointed at all. This is for all skin types even my oil slick forehead and its so feather light that you wouldn't even know you've applied anything.

The texture is a gel/creme and it glides on effortlessly onto the skin. It has a faint fragrance which doesn't smell of anything in particular as with all Clinique products its fragrance free.

My oily T-zone wasn't affected by this at all and my skin felt great even during the heat of the day. A winner for me!
