Clinique High Lengths Mascara

i GOT THIS AS A GIFT and it works absolutely amazing on my lashes i love it
the only thing was that it didnt really last for a long time

but overall its great and i would purchase it again :)

This mascara unfortunately did not meet all my expectations :(

I find the wand to be very gimmecky with not a lot of payoff. The wand is very thin and curved and only has bristles on the one side of it.

The idea is to lift, curl and lengthen the lashes, but I only experienced the curl. The formula is nice - it is not too wet / dry and it is pretty pigmented. It does not flake and lasts well throughout the day.

If you really want to own a good Clinique mascara - I can 100% recommend Chubby Lash.

I received a sample of this with my last clinique order (if u haven't ordered ur clinique from their online then I suggest u do cause they are great with giving samples)
So this is a great mascara! It does Give amazing length and the formula is nice and thin and applies great to lashed, my only issue with it is I can't seem to come right with its thin curved brush, I struggle to get the brush at the right angle to get my very inside and outer small lashes. Could just be me tho

I received this 5ml sample of Clinique’s High Lengths Mascara and have never looked back. I’ve never really focused on purchasing mascara from Clinique as I assumed my other branded mascaras were doing a good job. This all changed when I used this mascara.

The tubes of the sample as well as the full-sized version are both white with mirrored silver writing and lid. It’s a very clean, industrial, modern and minimal look which I really really love and appreciate. It looks so clinical when being used as well as when taking the tube out of your bag. Once the cap is open, a very strange and long “contraption” stares at you. The stalk is black whilst the single rubbered comb-like applicator is lime green.

The “brush” of this mascara is very unique and strange; I will refer to it as an applicator as brush does not suffice. The applicator is thin and of a solid stalk with tiny bristle on one end. At first I was sceptical as how to use this applicator and found the application very tricky. Once I’d gotten used to the movements needed I was able to use the applicator like a pro; nonetheless, a mirror is still very much needed. The brush manages to stick to and separate every single lash to produce a wide fanned out lash look that is very natural and striking.

The formula is highly pigmented and so delivers a strong full amount of colour onto lashes. The formula also manages to stretch out limp and lifeless lashes to illegal lengths, this allows for eyes to look wider and fully energized. The fine tooth-combed applicator helps to grip each root and gets colour on even the thinnest of lashes. The formula is ophthalmologist tested ad suitable for sensitive eyes.

I absolutely adore this mascara and find it perfect for day use to achieve a youthful, natural and wide-awake look. The mascara doesn’t clump or flake off and has a very long lasting time. It looks professional and gives a clean, smart finish. Due to the applicator, it’s not to be applied when in a rush as it does become messy if you don’t have the time, patience or mirror to help aid you.

I'm useless with mascara - always end up making a big mess. And I found this one impossible to use! I had a great travel size one given in one of the freebies - but binned it after trying it a few times.
I found it put too much product on the lashes, made them very wet and sticky so that it went all over my eyelid, and made my lashes clumpy.
Perhaps it's simply that I don't need length but rather need lift and curl, or that I'm just not good with mascara.

First impression: " Wow"! What an amazing brush or should I call it a comb? How will I do this???

Its quite easy actually and it really does reach short itty bitty lashes. Lucky for me my lashes have a natural upward curl so length and definition is what I'm after. I start at the base of my lashes and build the foundation then I do the inside and then another few strokes on the outside and I'm good to go.

This mascara lives up to its name and high length is the end result. I love it!!!!
