Clarins – Blush Prodige Cheek colour in 03

I have had a love affair with the French brand Clarins for many years and this blush did not disappoint. I will be buying this product again. I just love the sleek stylish look of this compact and the beautiful contents and the price is very reasonable for such a high quality long lasting formula. I love that this product can double up as a contour and really lifts your complextion. This is my number one all time favourite blush :) 03 comes with four palette blocks of coulour which enables you to get the perfect colour combination.
03 is definitely more for pale to medium skin toned ladies and it works perfectly in Summer or Winter. It is pretty pricey (isn't that what Edgars accounts are for?) but totally worth it. Usually I would use an expensive product sparingly but this lasts FOREVER. I have had mine since January and I have barely made a dent in it despite the fact that I use is regularly.

I really love this blush! Not only is the packaging beautiful and classy but the blush blends beautifully and creates a soft wash of colour without being streaky or garish. It is the perfect shade for fair skin like mine and looks very natural and adds radiance. I like the way the compact allows you to use more of the darker matte shade or more of the highlighting shade, depending on your preference.

Before I start reviewing the actual product I have to mention how beautifully this (and most Clarins products) is packaged. The compact comes inside a red velvet bag and the actual compact casing is so sleek and chic. I felt so pampered when I opened this beauty up.

Inside the compact the colours have been sectioned off in little strips, the matte shades for contouring and sculpting and the iridescent ones for a slight wash of colour. All of these colours have a silky, smooth texture that glides onto cheeks. You are left with a healthy and radiant glow.

These blush colours aren't heavily pigmented, but rather a very soft and pretty colour that is extremely buildable. It gives your cheeks a nice flush and feels extremely smooth when applied. The colour might not be very pigmented but once applied it stays put for the day. I love the silky texture and when all the colours are swirled together it creates a beautiful glow on your cheeks.

This blush compact comes with it's own blush brush. The type you find with most cosmetic brands. I usually don't use them but in this case I did cause it's the perfect size to pick up the smaller strips of colour on the sides. Besides the absolute luxury look of the packaging and the divine texture this pan will last forever so the high price is completely worth it. Your skin is left with a soft, pretty, illuminating glow. This blush comes in a few different colours so you just need to find the one that suits you best.

I was blown away when I opened up my BB goodie bag and saw this gorgeous blush. It has the most amazing colours that work so well with my skin tone as its more bronzy and brown which are shades I generally use anyway.

It has 4 shades of colours in this blush, 2 are bronzy and iridescent with shimmers to highlight the cheek and brow and the 2 others are matte colours. I sweep my blusher brush over all 4 of them for an all round summer glow and it looks perfect. The shades can be used alone as well and I’ve used the bronzy ones for my eyes and it works well. This blush is very buildable and the right amount can easily be obtained. I hate using blushers that are so light that you have to apply a million layers to get the desired effect.

This blusher retails for R360 which is very pricey but well worth it as blusher generally lasts for a long time.
