A perfect day-time winter scent and yet i find it fitting for spring evenings too. It is floral jasmine scent that wraps you up in its comforting floral scent with a sweet vanilla base. The staying power is perceptible enough to attract a lot of compliments - yet its not overpowering. It reminds me of Jasmine and vanilla as i spray it on me which settle into lovely honeysuckle later on. It is sort of perfume which i feel is not age restricting, young women as well as mature women can wear it.I love to dab Allure on inside of my elbow and i just keep on smelling them. Its a sensual and alluring perfume. The bottle design is simple and classical. Then one day, I walked into the Chanel Boutique in Edgars, V&A and a friend was telling me how she loves no5 and not a lot of women love Allure. To me no5 is okay but a little but too overpowering for me (I guess each women for her own). I went straight for the Allure and I immediately fell in love with this fragrance. To me it smelled divine and heavenly. It has a floral and vanilla smell. I love the smell of vanilla by the way. It was like this perfume was made for me. Like it chose me. (And my friend told me that the slogan defines me so me and allure are a match made in heaven lol). I even sprayed some of it on my fingers.
