I've transitioned about four years ago and I wish I could claim to be an expert on natural hair but sadly I'm not. I have naturally curly hair, which I used to hate but I've learned to embrace it. I would love for my curls to roam free but don't have the time or energy to wash my hair everyday as I love the way water activates it. I wanted to achieve that results without having to wash my hair every day and now I can, thanks to Marc Anthony Strictly curls range. I start off with Sulfate Free Curl Defining Shampoo and use Sulfate Free Frizz Sealing Conditioner. After rinsing, while my hair is still wet I apply Curl Defining Styling Lotion and either allow my hair to airdry or use the 2 strand twist out method. I've noticed that my curls last longer and are more defined as well.

great idea. I also and I have found a simple technique for keeping my curls in place. I divide my hair into sections and curl smaller sections using my curling iron. Once I have completed a section, I twirl it and pin it down in a bunch and secure it with a bobby pin. Repeat with each section and leave overnight.

Remove the pins, after a good night sleep and notice how fresh, defined and full of life the curls look.

I have a pump spray bottle that I picked up from Pick and Pay that has a concoction of oils and conditioners which I spray through my hair to reactivate the leave-ins from my wash and go. I just keep putting in the last remnants of my conditioner, hair oils and other nourishing products mixing it with water to dilute :) It makes sure you never waste products and is really useful :)
