    Hi There (:

I personally love the Scholl Velvet Smooth electronic foot file. They also have a wide variety of creams and masks that you can leave on your feet. I have the foot file and feel like it works really well. All the best xo

Im also struggling with those hard skin on my foot and tried everything nothing helps, the only thing that make the pain better is to buy inner soles for comfort.

    Hi :)

I like to use Scholl Velvet smooth electric footfile but it is not a permanent remedy. What I have however noticed for myself is that in Summer, when i wear sandals then my heels get hard quicker than in Winter when I am wearing thick boots and socks.

I walk around bare feet as much as I can. Inside and outside. You'd expect my feet to be hard but actually the different surfaces naturally exfoliate it. So when you aren't at work or busy for the day dance around bare foot for a little bit.... Natural exfoliation :p

Also I remember to always put foot cream on before bed if I wore sandals or open shoes that day :)

Hi, if it's because of dead skin cells then you can soak your feet in a mixture made up of a quarter cup Listerine (mouthwash), a quarter cup white vinegar and half cup warm water for about 15 min, then when you wipe your feet the dead skin cells will come off easily, your feet will feel soft and smooth.

    Hi
Hard skin on your feet is a result of the pressure placed on that particular part of your foot when walking and also the shoes you wear. The hard skin protects the foot from being injured.. This is what I've understood from a podiatrist.

You could soften the skin by filing your feet after you bath/shower. You could also use the electronic foot files, eg:Scholl.
A way too keep the skin soft also is to apply cream to your feet and then wear socks to bed at night.

These are temporary treatments for as long as you do them... I don't think there is a permanent solution to not having hard skin on your feet though.
