Hi Gals

Recently I have been paying more attention to my eyebrows which has also meant more plucking. I have noticed a bump at some of the spots that I have plucked a hair. Presumably this is a new, ingrown hair which is more unsightly than had I just left the hair in place. :( Is there anyway from preventing these from forming and how do I treat them once they are there? Thanks

Always ensure that your tweezers are not old and they still meet together when pressed against each other - if not, they may need replacing.
And remember to clean them as well ensuring there's no build up of dirt and bacteria.
Use a magnifying mirror in a well lit area so that you do not pluck your skin instead.
It will also help a lot if you first wash / exfoliate your skin or hold a warm clot to your brows in order for the skin to be softer and pluck easier.
Pluck quickly and in the direction the hair grows - do not pluck a lot of hairs at once but work one hair at a time to avoid irritating the skin or braking the hair instead of actually plucking it.
When done, use a cotton bud dipped in a toner to soothe the skin and avoid further irritation. Aloe gel will also assist further with any irritation. If skin is really irritated, do not be quick to apply anything else on the face but wait for it to rest before make up. If irritation persists, please see a doctor.

I use Innoxa Young Solution spot drops on my skin after tweezing or waxing my eyebrows. It does sting a little but I've never had any problem with ingrown hairs when I use it.

Have you always tweezed? Would you consider threading?

    Hi Nuri1

I am on a very tight budget so threading isn't an option at present.
