Things to keep in mind when getting an ombre.

There are certain things to keep in mind when you decide to get an ombre. Disclaimer: I am not a hair care professional or stylist I'm only sharing with you guys what works for me and what I have realized helps from the first time I've decided I wanted an ombre ( have done it three times, my hair is currently ombred). First thing YES you have to get a purple shampoo, simply because it keeps the blonde hair blonde for longer, if you've gotten a grey ombre you should probably try to find silver shampoo, don't be afraid of the opaque colour it will not turn your hair purple, (I use Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes shampoo available at Clicks). Secondly get an hair treatment like a mask preferably something for dry, damaged hair because of the bleach used to create the ombre, it strips your hair of color and also its moisture, just to help repair the damage that has been done and so the parts that have been ombred does not tangle as easily. For everyday styling care try to use a dry oil too because ombred hair can do with a little more moisture and care than the hair that is not ombred.
