Storing Nail Polish

Storing Nail Polish

Did you know that high temperatures and direct sunlight exposure is NOT good for your nail polish?  or any of your beauty products for that matter.

Remove your nail polishes and skin care products from your window sills.

The high temperatures can ctivate a nail formula’s solvents, which gives your polish that thick and melted consistency.

I keep my nail polish in the fridge.  I use my egg trays for hand storage.

Keeping it a cool place will extend its shelf life and keep your lacquer smooth and easy to apply.

It’s always best to keep face products in cool, dark places too, because heat can change the formulas and make them less effective.  Putting your eye cream in the fridge has an extra benefit – the coolness will instantly de-puff and soothe.
