Repair that Overworked Hair!

Repair that Overworked Hair!

Hello my readers & happy Friday!! I've finally settled into using the John Frieda Full Repair Range and can now finally give you my honest opinion about it. There are a couple of products which comprise the full range so I thought I start off with just the shampoo & conditioner to give you the basics. Like I said in my previous post, I tend to style my hair every single day. It hardly gets a break! This shampoo and conditioner combo is described as a lightweight micro-oil rich in omega 3 which repairs the look and feel of overworked hair. It claims to add body for full flowing styles and is safe to use on colour treated or chemically treated hair.

First off, let me say that the shampoo lathers beautifully. You only need a little bit but are left with a rich foamy lather all over your hair. This is quite important to me as I somehow feel that my hair is not being cleaned unless I see lots of foam! The shampoo itself is quite nice and smells lovely and did not dry my hair out in any way. It felt a little thicker while I was washing it so I think that's a good sign! The conditioner however is really where it's at with this combo. I apply only to my ends but it instantly softens the hair! It's also quite weightless so you don't need to worry that all the 'full repair' ingredients are going to weight your hair down. It doesn't at all trust me. My hair felt smooth and silky & I've actually received a couple of compliments about how shiny it is. Volume is really important to me, especially with my newly layered haircut so I was anxious to see how this range would play along with that.

I was very happy to find that the effect of the shampoo and conditioner left my hair full of body, light and bouncy. For my type of hair and texture, it was quite effective. It is obviously a product that needs to be used over a length of time as one cannnot expect results overnight but so far, so good! I'll keep you updated on my Twitter feed (@simplysiyaam) as I go along! Thanks for reading today & don't forget to rate this review! SS
