So if I had to choose my favourite product from my entire make-up collection, it would be this one, Mac’s Soft Ochre Paint Pot (R230.00). It just makes me happy for days, its the ultimate eye-shadow base. What makes Soft ochre so special is, it is that perfect nude that you use everyday. It has an amazing texture, like cream, and makes eye-shadows pop. I’ve tried a few different eye shadow bases, they are mostly too liquid and cause creasing, and creasing is not hot. Mac paint pot’s don’t crease, well on me any ways, and I have quite a deep crease naturally, so if something wants to crease I’m a pretty good guinea pig. There are quite a few colours available (visit Mac website), I also have a Let’s Skate, which is very pretty light sorbet pink with glitter, all the paint pots are amazing really.
Tip: For flawlessly blended eye-shadows, use Paint Pot all over eye area, then apply a sheer nude eye-shadow shade on top of Paint Pot area.
