Kiehl’s Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturising Serum Concentrate

I love how clean and simple all the Kiehl’s packaging is. When I removed the bottle of Kiehl’s Hydro-plumping Serum from the box, I thought the product content would be a mousse, simply because of the pump-like spout. To my surprise when I pumped some serum onto my fingers, it was not a mousse.

I found the serum to be super absorbent on application. It is lightweight in texture, like water.. And silky, like glycerine, which made perfect sense after reading the ingredients.

The glycerine ingredient is actually plant-based and works within the formula in three key ways:

-          It is a moisture magnet and is known for its highly effective hydrating benefits.

-          Plant based glycerine is naturally occurring and highly compatible with skin and creates a reservoir effect for pulling water into the skin and keeping the skin moisturised as it enhances the skin’s moisture holding capacity.

-          It helps facilitate the transportation process of essential hydration through different levels of the skin’s surface layers

Another ingredient is Shiso Leaf extract, which helps anchor moisture, deep within the skin’s surface layers.

I am really excited about trying out the Hydro-plumping serum to restore and balance my skin’s vital moisture, resulting in fresh, plump, hydrated and youthful looking skin!

Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution

At first glance, the Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution looks thick and heavy, but it is super lightweight, like water on your skin, yet very slightly, sticky.

This product is presented in a dropper bottle, easy to control how much (or little) you use.

Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution is formulated with naturally brightening Activated C along with White Birch and Peony Extracts to correct and prevent discoloration (dark spots) and enhance skin clarity.

Vitamin C can make skin more sensitive and prone to pigmentation, so I would suggest using a decent sunscreen while using this product.

You can also use this serum to fade hyper pigmentation on your hands, neck, and décolletage.

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate

This is THEE most AMAZING beauty product I have used in my entire life! I was introduced to Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate about a year ago and have been using it religiously every single night. It is a botanical elixir and also contains essential oils which helps repair, regenerate and replenish skin during the night.

The formula contains Squaline, Evening Primrose Oil and Lavender.

-          Squalane restores skins natural balance, keeping it soft and smooth.

-         Evening Primrose Oil contains essential fatty acids 3,6 & 9 that are important in maintaining healthy skin and radiance and also assists the skin in maintaining its moisture barrier.

-          Lavender: Soothes and improves skin-tone.

Although the MRC is oil based, it surprisingly does not make you feel oily and sticky. It feels and smells like a spa treatment for your face, leaving you feeling refreshed and relaxed! 3 drops is all you need to press into your skin.

I am a huge fan of the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate and excited to see how it works with the Hydro-Plumping Serum and the Dark Spot Solution.
