Get the look: Purple Manicure with easy Flower Nail Art

Negative space manicures are really in at the moment and I have always been a huge fan of them. I just love finding new ways to create looks using this technique and decided to combine a few of my favourite elements in today’s look.

I wanted to create a soft looking manicure so I decided on combining a pastel purple and white nail polish. With this I wanted to add some flower nail art and polka dots to create a pretty and feminine look.

Flower nail art is really easy to create as it can be created on your nails by simply creating a few dots with your dotting tool and combining them with one big dot in the center. So why not add a cute flower or two to your manicure? Here is how you can create this look:

Step 1 - Using scotch tape, create a triangle shape by the base of your nails.
Step 2 - Paint the top part of your nails with your chosen nail polish colour and make sure to keep the triangle shape clean.
Step 3 - Carefully remove the scotch tape after your nails have dried completely.
Step 4 - Paint polka dots on your fourth finger nail using your dotting tool or a bobby pin.
Step 5 - Now create the flowers on your nails. You will simply use your dotting tool and make four small dots close to each other. Once that is done use your dotting tool to put a single dot in the middle of the flower to complete it.
Step 6 - After your flowers and polka dots have dried, apply your top coat. I decided on this very light and natural pink shade to compliment this look.
