Get into the grooves with Clinique's bottom lash mascara

Get into the grooves with Clinique's bottom lash mascara

I’m one of those girls who love mascara (I don’t know many women who don’t to be fair). Truth be told, I have long lashes and I love to accentuate that. I often find that with larger mascara wands, it is sometimes difficult to get to my bottom lashes and those hard to reach lashes in the inner and outer part of the eye.

I have tried using the wands vertically, horizontally – basically every geometric angle. I’ve even tilted my head sometimes leaning toward a 180 degree; turn, to apply the mascara to my bottom lashes.

Sometimes, I have ruined my entire make up look, because I smudged my mascara. I hate that.  But make up remover cleans up the mess and I pull it off with results that are good but not great.

A year ago, I found Clinique’s bottom lash mascara and after trying it out, I knew I needed it in my life. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not going for the ‘Twiggy look’ the clumpy, false bottom lash effect unless I’m going to a retro party, I just needed a mascara to define my little lashes and of course, last the whole day without smudging

Some of you may think this isn’t a necessity but since I found this mini wonder, I can’t live without it.

The magic lies in the brush. It is conical in shape and about a ¼ of the size of a regular brush. The packaging is very pretty with a silver twist cap and a pale silver-grey tube emblazoned with a gunmetal floral pattern. I wear the shade 01 Black and it really adds fullness and definition to my lashes. And is super pigmented

I apply one coat to my lashes starting from the root to the tip. And the results are amazing! This mascara is great if you have very tiny bottom lashes, as it will bring them out and create maximum impact with minimal effort. It’s also great paired with a smokey eye adding more drama and smolder to your look.

The best part is that the formula is long wearing so it’s not going anywhere.

While it does have great staying power, you don’t need paint stripper to remove it.  Any make up remover will do.  You can also splash with warm water on the eye area and gently press it away. No tug-of-war here.

It really is a phenomenal product. Try it, you’ll see the world in a different light and it will take your eye make up a new level. Where you want your neutral eye to pop or intensify dramatic eyes this mascara with give you crisp, clump-free definition. And no, you will not look like a throw back from the 60s.
