Exposed by the Smashbox Full Exposure Palette

If you’re a celebrity, then being exposed is the last thing you would want. If you’re a makeup junkie like me, let’s just say full exposure is exactly what you need. I’m talking about the Smashbox Full Exposure palette that completely knocked my socks off. I was so excited when I stumbled across it in my local Red Square store and jumping for joy that it was available in South Africa.

The packaging of the Smashbox Full Exposure palette is matte black with a satin feel to it and large holographic writing on the lid. Whilst it looks gorgeous, fingerprints are left behind and that is the only con for me. The lid has a magnetic closure that is quite strong so I never have to worry about it popping open at any time. There are no pretty names for each shade but they are marked from S1 to S7 for shimmers and M1 to M7 for mattes. The inner is made of sturdy plastic and has a full sized mirror for on the go. The palette also comes with the signature red and black handle, dual-ended brush. The brush is made from natural hair and I’ve actually got it sitting in my brush jar for when I need it. It has a flatter, dense side for packing on colour and a more sparse bristled side with longer hairs that is perfect for blending out harsh lines.
