Beauty Made Easy with Samy #4.3

Happy Friyay Beauties! ๐Ÿ˜˜

The days are literally running past nowadays, but one should never cease to forget about the importance of taking care of oneself- regardless of how hectic life may be.

This is a follow-up article where I'll be sharing my beauty regime (and my lotions and potions) with you. I can honestly say that this is my third week of being "beauty-conscious" in the sense that I've stayed true to my beauty regime every morning and night. I can clearly see and feel a difference to my facial skin and -health. I'm also being bombarded with compliments from the people with whom I work with saying things such as "I look younger" and that "it's like my skin's glowing".

Curious to find out what's been in my make-up bag for the past week?

Like I've told you in a previous post- I received a whole bunch of samples from a Clarins Consultant about a few weeks ago and just like a kid with new toys, I couldn't wait to test each product. Thus far I must admit that I've been pleasantly surprised with the outcome of the various samples and I have been forming quite a 'bond' with certain products.

During the past week I also realized that beauty products doesn't always have to cost an arm and a leg: I'll be focusing on two specific items with this regards.

Morning Cleansers: This week's cleanser was a well known baby product- Sunlight Mild & Gentle Mild Baby Family Soap. All my Clarins facial cleanse samples were done besides the Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel, which gets a rating of ๐Ÿ’„๐Ÿ’„. (My reviews vary from one to five lipsticks where 5 is รผber amazing and 1 is bleh ๐Ÿ˜•).

So without any facial cleanse amples left and a bank balance that doesn't allow to buy a full sized Clarins facial cleanser, I had to make due with what was available: my son's bath soap! I reckoned that if it's mild enough for a baby's skin it won't be too harsh for my face. And guess what- this little gem is awesome. My face feels fresh and soft. The Sunlight bar soap gets a rating of ๐Ÿ’„๐Ÿ’„๐Ÿ’„from me.

Toner: I'm still using my Nivea Refreshing Toner- this is quite a money saver since I bought it in January and there's still enough left for about two months.

Potions: I was so excited to start with my Clarins Multi-Active Yeux which promises to instantly revive the eyes and also targets fine lines. After a few days' applications I am seeing an improvement with regards to fine lines and reduced puffiness and dark circles. It's easy to apply and a pea-size drop is more than enough. This product deserves a rating of ๐Ÿ’„๐Ÿ’„๐Ÿ’„๐Ÿ’„. I'm still using the Clarins Pore Minimizing Serum and this potent potion gets an upgraded rating of ๐Ÿ’„๐Ÿ’„๐Ÿ’„๐Ÿ’„. My pores appear smaller and my skin feels and looks like a baby's bottom! I'm still using the Clarins SOS Pure Rebalancing Clay Mask (every Wednesday evening to be exact), and it makes my skin feel refresh and rejuvenated. This product deserves a rating of ๐Ÿ’„๐Ÿ’„๐Ÿ’„๐Ÿ’„. Lotions: I've still been moisturizing with Clarins' Bright Plus Brightening Day Lotion. It's easy to apply, non greasy and quickly absorbs into the skin. This is one of my favourite products and deserves a rating of ๐Ÿ’„๐Ÿ’„๐Ÿ’„๐Ÿ’„.

Night: I follow the same regimen as in the morning with only one difference- instead of using a Clarins moisturizer, I'm using Garnier's Skin Active Even & Matt Ideal Complexion which I'm also trying to finish before I completely go the pure Clarins road.

Make-Up: I'm literally just a mascara-and-lipstick-girl. The two beauties I've been using lately is Benefit's They're Real Mascara and Ackermans' Be Fabulous Tinted Lip Balm. The mascara lengthens and curls without leaving any black panda effects and one coat is more than enough to last throughout the day. The lip balm is a very impressive gem! It has the same results as those tinted lip crayons which is being sold by reputable cosmetic houses but it costs a fraction of their price. This product is definitely highly recommended. With its stayfast colour and moisturising properties you can't go wrong with this item.
