All Natural Healthy Hair

With the Season of Winter still upon us, and your skin feeling a bit dry and you need that extra moisture to keep that dryness away. But sometimes we forget our crown glory (hair) our scalps, that too needs all the moist it can get to keep healthy.    

So here are a few helpful and natural oils to try out, I keep mine over night meaning I slept with the oil in my hair just wrapped so I don't damage my bedding. You can find these oils at any Pharmacy Store I got mine from Dis-chem and Clicks which means they not really difficult to find .

1. Olive oil

Not only is olive oil good for your  health and amazing to eat, it also has natural healing abilities as its loaded with antioxidants. 

A few benefits to using Olive oil is its:

  • Prompts hair growth
  • Fights of fungi and bacteria like Dandruff and Lice
  • Naturally conditioning hair 
  • Helps with damage caused by hair products or over use of styling products

You don't have to use Olive oil on its own on your hair you can add other beneficial oils to the mixture and apply on your hair.

2. Tea Tree oil

An oil which is most commonly used to treat so many health and beauty problems. It has natural properties like anti fungal, antibacterial, antiseptic, antiviral and anti-infection that helps to deal with certain hair related problems very effectively.

A few benefits to using Tea Tree oil is its:

  • Moisturizer to your hair and scalp that helps to control the excess oil
  • It prevents hair loss and promotes hair growth 
  • Keeps you free from bacteria and Fungi, which leaves you with a dry and itchy scalp 
  • Unblock the hair follicles and helps to boost up the immune system

3. Coconut Oil

 

Coconut Oil not only is it healthy for your diet and used only in the kitchen but it has amazing benefits for your hair to, a world-renowned oil which is filled with  anti-fungal properties and antioxidants. And has been used for thousands of years as a hair oil.

 A few benefits to using  Coconut Oil is its:

  • Is rich in vitamin E, vitamin K and iron and effectively eliminates dandruff while boosting hair growth.
  • Anti-fungal and antibacterial properties to protect against dandruff and lice. 
  • Seals in moist and  protects against environmental impurities and excess heat.
  • The fatty acids in coconut oil bind to the protein in hair and protect both the roots and strands of hair (Lauric acid)

A tip for coconut oil when you purchase the oil it looks like a white solid paste, when you want to use the oil take some out and place in a bowl and microwave for 30 seconds or less. Let it cool then apply to your hair, and comb through your hair.

 

But remember with all these oils the amount you use depends on the length and thickness of your hair. For best results keep in for at least two hours or overnight in your hair.

All these oils can be used to massage the scalp as they all promote healthy blood circulation to your scalp, so stock up on these oils and best of all there are no chemicals these are all natural oils where you can find very easily in stores.
