I bought two cos I just had to have.beautiful product and such a great variety too! its like lips coming to life with a touch of dazzle too.I love the coverage of this lip gloss and the long lasting quality. The color I picked is perfect. This is one of the best lip glosses I've ever tried and it has an SPF 15, wow beyond pink is my favourite

Okay, so I am totally crazy for coral, so when I saw this shade, I just had to have it!!
The packaging is fairly petite which make it convenient and easy to carry around, it's simple and to the point and very elegant.
The formula has really good pigment quality and a nice consistency, making it thick enough to show the color, but remain light weight at the same time - this ensures a lovely comfortable wear.
It last for about 2-3 hours, so fairly average when it comes to wear / staying power capability, but what does make this different is that is doesn't just fade in 1 go, it fades gradually, so at least I am comfortable knowing that I won't have a washed out look, but yet varying shades of coral which is a huge bonus!
Over all a really great effort from Avon! I think this should definitely be a staple in every girls handbag!

After trying out avons new glazewear lipgloss in plum dazzle and clear it was not surprising that avon came up with more great products,the colour is amazing and the texture is smooth making it really comfortable to wear and not at all sticky.thank you avon you guys never dissapoint

I am not typically someone who wears a lot of lipstick or gloss because I prefer to have very dramatic eye make up and having dramatic lips at the same time tends to leave a person looking somewhat overdone.. that said after trying Avon's Ultra Glazewear I feel that I can start having the best of both worlds.. or having my cake and eating it ;) These glosses are really lovely with a light formula that does not leave your lips feeling the slightest bit sticky..
The staying power is typical of most glosses, that being not very long, but the power in the colour punch that you get for the time that it IS onyour lips is well worth the reapplying time spent on it..
I tried out two colours, Plum Dazzle and Mauve Movement,I find that the plum dazzle is wonderful for night time wear, being slightly "sparkly" and just dark enough for a sultry, glamorous look. While the Mauve Movement is light and girly enough for day time wear. After applying most other glosses or lipsticks I find my lips feel sticky and dry at the end of the evening, with these little babies in my arsenal, my lips feel beautifully moisturized, soft and smooth.. The added benefit of the SPF 15 means that it can be worn any time anywhere!
The only downside to owning these lip glosses is that every woman who sees it wants to try it out too and you then have to share... or not as the case may be ;)
Love it, will definitely buy it again!

I love this gloss, why? Firstly because it does not feel like glue on my lips I can press my lips together without that sticky feeling. I can wear the clear gloss as is or apply some over my lipstick for that extra shine. The gloss leaves my lips shiny and soft, it won't last long but I don't mind re-applying. Avon has a variety of colours that are so worth checking out and great for summer.

Upon recieving my avon ultra glazewear absolute lipgloss (so classy, right?) from none other than my faaaavourite people in the world, beauty bulletin, i was so excited, the lady at the post office gave me the furry eyeball look...... Anyways i dashed home as fast as possible to open up my small white package...and when i opened it.... It was like angels singing.... The 2 smartly wrapped and elegantly wrapped little beauties almost bought tears to my eyes. I picked them up so carefully and admired the sheer beauty of them, my avon lippies that would become my number one companion for the next month, well, actually from now on LIFETIME!!!!
In the gorgeous shades of nourishing nude and radiant red I unwrapped them and immediately headed off to the mirror to try them out! That soft pop of the lipsponge leaving the tube gave me goosebumps.... I decided to try the radiant red shade first, as i had never even thought of trying a red lipgloss before! The consistency of the gloss is smooth and with the help of the spongebrush it applied smoothly and evenly, like a dream! The colour pops and shines like a million diamonds on the lips....kissable, is an understatement. The red is daring, sexy and makes me feel like im a glamour girl from the moulin rouge! Theres nothing i dont like about this colour, its the perfect tease for a great night out And its easy application makes it a pleasure to wear!
I love the fact that i can wear this lipgloss and know it has SFP15 to protect my smackers while im wearing it. Making it perfect for all year round too. Its available in many shades, so theres a lip smacking shade for everyone! My next shade i recieved as mentioned was nourishing nude..... It reminds me of a soft creamy toffee colour, and has a lovely subtle scent! Mmmm yummy!! Can i get a coffee with that? ;) its perfect for everyday where and its visible yet not overpowering, the perfect product if your looking for a nude lip to compliment your day wear make-up!
Onwards to the moisturizing effects!! This product is known for its mositurizing effects, and after a good 10 days of usage i can honestly say the difference in my lips is incredible. Soft, smooth, no cracks and my boyfriend even commented and said how nice they look! ;) the thing is you become so addicted to this wonder gloss that it becomes your best friend. It jumps from my make up bag, to my varsity pencil case, to my handbag and then my bedside table. If i cant find my lipgloss, i kinda have a mini heart attack....i think its worse than when i misplace my phone (gasp! Yea, its true people...this product is just THAT amazing) I will never use another gloss, never ever ever!! Thank you beauty bulletin for helping my lips find their lifelong companion, with all the bells and whistles, you cant give this product a skip....dont even think about giving it a skip, just dont.

Absolutely LOVE this product which says a lot as I am fussy on lip products! these are wonderful, they moisturize while adding a perfect amount of colour to your look. They apply easily without smudging, the applicator is wonderful! I have loved using this product as it is the perfect accessory for a small handbag on a night out.

This lipstick and Lipgloss is available in brochure 4 of the Avon Booklet. Each Lipstick and Lipgloss comes in 10 shades so theres a colour which suits every ladies desire.
Withe the lipstick and lipstick both enriched with SPF 15, shea butter and vitamin C, it really nourishes and moisturises the lips. The color payoff is so effective too(thanks to Avons Colour Reveal Technology) which i love, so I dont need to re-apply my lipstick or lipgloss every hour on the hour. My lips seem to be conditioned and appears to be softer, unlike when ive used other lip stuff.
What i like about the lipgloss is that it doesnt require me to plump the tube to get out enough, the soft spunge easily brings up enough lipgloss to apply smoothly to my lips. This Avon lipstick is more like a Liquid Lipstick to me, because of the colour being so great and long-lasting, also its far from other lipglosses which is overly sticky and messes all over my lips.

I absolutely loooooove this lipgloss, one of the colours i was sent match my skintone very nicely. I will defiantely recommend it and buy it again. I want to buy some other colours too. It is not too heavy on the lips, so when its hot outside you have no problem wearing this amazing lipgloss. I am not a fan of any lipgloss, because it usally feels as if there is some sticky sweetie left on you lip, and my husband believes that sticky lipgloss is the culprit that gives him coldsores. Well was I greatly surprized with this product from AVON. The colours - awesome - but the feeling, not sticky and it is longer lasting than any product that I used before. I tried it on, on it's own and even used it as a shine plumper over my own lipstick and both ways this is a product i will buy again. Thank you beauty Bulletin

I was excited to try this out when I received it and true to its name, it's non-sticky and so shiny!
I loved the colour, it wasn't too bright or too light... it was just perfect.
I wore it out to a party and was amazed at how long it lasted... I only re-touched once! (And that was after a drink had messed it up.)
I also loved the the way it was smooth and light, not heavy at all. By far the BEST lipgloss I've ever used! Thanks Avon for making such a brilliant product for us girls.

Wow, when I received my Ultra Wear Lipstick and Lipgloss I was a bit weary as I do not usually wear lipstick, but when I tried them I was truly amazed. Not only is the lipstick nice and soft on your lips, it nourishes your lips while you wear it. The nice thing too is that you can decide to wear the lipstick on its own or have some lipgloss over it which ends up giving it that ultra soft, smooth and sexy look.
The bonus for me was to get it in pink as I love pink, but I know any colour will look absolutely gorgeous as this product is one of the nicest lip products out there right now.
I tried different looks by either wearing the lipstick on its own or the lipgloss and then by putting them together as well.
The lipgloss is just as amazing as, to me, it even has a nice smell when you put it on and stays on for quite a while. It does not go all funny like I find some lipglosses do and I absolutely love it.
The fact that both the lipstick and the lipgloss have a SPF in it is even more amazing as now I know that my lips will be protected everywhere I go when wearing it during the day and being out-and-about.
Avon has done another excellent job by making yet another excellent product for us to use... Well done!!!!

I was extremely excited when I received my Avon Ultra Glazewear lipglosses in two shades. Firstly, the colours were perfect for me. Soft, subtle tones that are perfect for daywear. In addition, I was impressed by how smooth the application is. Usually (with me at least), you know you're wearing lipgloss because you can feel it on your lips - and it's usually very sticky. With Avon's new lipglosses, I barely even knew I was wearing it, because it glided on and wasn't heavy at all. To top it all off: the lipgloss has an SPF and actually moisturises lips, which is brilliant for me now that winter is approaching. All in all, I'd have to say that this is my new favourite lipgloss.

I was thrilled to be selected to review Avon’s Absolute Ultra Wear Lipstick SPF15 and Ultra Glazewear Absolute Lip Gloss SPF15.
To start, I must say that I love the hot-pink and silver packaging. It really does make you feel like you’re pampering or treating yourself when you can take out a beautiful, feminine looking lipstick to apply. The products look very premium and I really want to complement Avon upfront for the glamorous selection of packaging for these new products.
Avon’s new lip range combines glamorous colour with nourishing care. I loved the feeling of the Absolute Ultra Wear Lipstick on my lips. The product really did feel very hydrating and nourishing – which I enjoyed. I received the ‘Natural Flush’ colour to trial. Unfortunately, against my pale complexion, I looked quite washed-out and pasty. So the colour wasn’t right for my personal skin complexion. I’d love to try one of Avon’s brighter shades! But my lips did look fuller and felt smooth and cared for.
I absolutely LOVED the Ultra Glazewear Absolute Lip Gloss! I received the ‘Pure Poppy’ colour. I loved the effect achieved when applying the lip gloss over the lipstick. The colour and shine was beautiful and my lips looked full & glossy. This lip gloss is not at all sticky which I was thrilled about. It feels really lovely on your lips. The ‘Pure Poppy’ pink gives an awesome pop of colour. I was so impressed!

The Avon Ultra Glazewear Absolute Lip gloss in Creamy Coral is a sheer, fruity smelling lip gloss with just enough stick to make it last on the lips. I love the fruity scent and the comfortable wear of the product. The colour in the tube is a creamy pastel coral and translates into a glossy almost clear colour on my lips. This lip gloss looks stunning paired with the Avon Ultra Colour Absolute Lipstick for a summery pout.

So it's been a week since I received and have been using the Avon Ultra Glaze Absolute Lipgloss *PurePoppy* and the Avon Ultra Wear lipstick *PureOrchid* Thank You Beuty Bulletin
I wasn't too exited when I realised what colours I got, because I'm not into colour when it comes to my lips it just NEVER looks good on my dark skin shade. But nonetheless I was going to try these two products out...
The lipstick was in Pure Orchid I put it on for the first time and I loved how moist it was on my dry lips kept my lips soft for about an hour and when I was re-applying I realised that the colour was still there. I loved that because the ordinary lipsticks tend to fade out leaving chipped, cracked pieces of colour on my lips. It also wasn't very heavy on my lips but made them look and feel bolder. The downside of it was having to re-apply constantly to keep the moist feeling there. But that definatly won't keep me away from trying out new colours and using it more often. And the smell just made me want to re- apply all the time.
And the Absolute Ultra Glaze Wear lip gloss was my favourite wasn't too sticky I could put my lips together and separate them without feeling like I had some kind of glue on them. Its smells good & I also realized that it tastes good,I honestly lick it from my mouth #hides
It feels lighter and silky,the texture is just out of this world. It also doesn't wear out,you can wear it for hours.
I fell even more inlove with it when I saw the packaging,awesome pink girly kinda packaging AWESOME!!
The lipstick is such a value for money.

I was super stoked when I got chosen as one of the ladies to review Avon's new lipgloss and lipsticks, so here's my first review on the lipgloss. The color I got was Renewing Rose, and I absolutely love it! Applying it was a breeze, and the gloss isn't sticky at all, something I can rave on about forever, cause there is nothing more irritating than a sticky gloss, right? I even felt it moisturize my lips when I applied it. So far it was great, but I decided to put it to the ultimate test. How long will it stay on my lips? I applied it this morning before my hour run on the treadmill and after I was done sweat was dripping down my face, but the lipgloss? Still looking perfectly in place on my lips (and probably the only thing that looked good at the moment). I am obsessed with the gloss right now, and I'm wearing it as I'm typing this. A definite must have for any woman! So happy I got the chance of reviewing it! :)

I bought the Avon glazewear absolute lipgloss in pure poppy, its my essential everyday handbag must have. Its very moisturizing for my lips, its not sticky at all. It lasts very long, I only take it off when I'm eating otherwise it stays on for long. Really love it, and would recommend it. I only have 1 of these, but I adore it! I have the colour "plum pretty" and it is gorgeous. It is so pigmented for a lipgloss, so comfortable on the lips and not sticky at all. I love it!

Ladies ladies and all you lips lovers, I received the Avon absolute ultra wear lipstick (Pure Orchid) with SPF15 and Ultra Glazewear (Radiant Red - lip gloss) with SPF15 and Vit E Omega 3 to review. And all I have to say is Wow-Wowlipcious both products are awesome and feels so great on my lips, not only do they have a great smell but they also keep my lips moisturized.
Both are not your typical lipstick and lip gloss that makes your lips feeling dry and oily, the fresh thing about them is the SPF15 and perfect moisturizer and vibrant colour with a great scented and sheer. They take your lips from dull to pouty and glam. boosting and flourishing your lips with a healthy colorful shine and moisture.
Personally both the radiant red and pure orchid colours are perfect through out all seasons, matches with whatever I am wearing and gives my lips that celebrity feel. Friends and family have complimented my lips and just how my face glows. (quickly checks if they both are inside my bag, what a relieve.
My advice to all you ladies if you dnt have it go Get It - Both have a lasting stay on your lips no need to keep re-applying every second. Definitely must haves

I was very excited to be chosen to review these products for BB. It took a while to get to me via Post office. I tried the lip gloss 1st and I have to say that I really like the texture of this gloss. It isn't thick and sticky like some other glosses out there. The colour I got is Heavenly Honey and is a lovely nude colour, which I quite like.
The lipstick is also very nice. It feels like you're applying a lip balm which is great for this time of year when my lips tend to dry out a lot. The only thing I didn't like was the colour. Pink renewal just didn't look right on me. I will be passing this on to my sister who loves lighter pink shades. The pink packaging is pretty and I will definitely buy this again but maybe in a darker shade.

Okay so I got my first ever Ultra Glazewear 2 years ago and it was the best then in February I bought myself another set of three (special of the month and really it was) and haven't looked back since.
This lip gloss leaves my lips very soft and glossy and I don't need to constantly re-apply the gloss like most brands out there. It nourishes my lips and it smells great as well, a plus for my husband when he kisses my lips lol.
The nude color is great for all skin tones and my friend probably uses more then I do because she asks for it all the time.
this truly is a good buy and a little goes a long way as my first one finished after like 6 months if I remember correctly.

I am not a huge fan of lip gloss. I find that most are too thick, so make your lips feel artificial or as if they are stuck together, most times they have too much plumper or it adds way too much shine! But I decided to give this product a try, more out of being nosey. I got it in Dazzling Diamond (completely transparent). I find that this gloss is great for day-to-day use, and can be kept in your hand bag. It is not too glossy, and certainly doesn’t make your lips feel like they are stuck together. I like to use my fingers to apply it, if my lips have some sort of colour already (I don’t want to dirty the brush) but find that I use it even when I am not wearing make-up. It adds a great amount of moisture, but is not that long lasting – so you will need to do touch ups, often! I like that it doesn’t have a plumper in it, but if you are interested in that, just add a drop or two of peppermint oil. This is definitely a product worth trying, but not sure if I will order the other shades. I like that I can use this over any look!

I used my Ultra Glazewear Lipstick and Lipgloss today. As per my swob pic the lipstick is a cerese pink, which i love. it glides on smoothly, smells kind of sweet like cherry and moisturises my lips excellently. I thought I would need to apply a lipgloss over it, but this was completely not needed. The color is long lasting and its really bright and shimmery. I love this about this lipstick. "Avon's products are great, but it's such a schlep trying to find a representative." If I had a lip gloss for every time I've heard someone say this, or for every time I've read it on a forum... It's true, though. Although the products are high quality, and real value for money, they're a pain to get hold of. I am lucky enough to have a representative living on my doorstep, but even so, it is still incredibly frustrating to have to wait two weeks for my order to arrive. I remember anxiously ticking off the days when I made my first purchase of Avon's Glow Bronzing Pearls. Isn't it far more convenient to be able to walk into a store and buy your goodies immediately? Well, now you can! Maybe some of you already know this, but it came as a shock to me: There are three Avon Beauty Centers, situated in Cape Town, Durban and Pretoria, where you can test all the products and make instant purchases! No more excuses, ladies! Now that this bit of exciting information has been shared, let's get to the good stuff.
I received two products from the ladies at Beauty Bulletin. So firstly, a big thank you to everyone involved in the selection process. I am thrilled to have been a part of this trial team. I was sent a lipstick and a gloss from Avon. Both products were sealed in a black Avon wrapping, which made me really happy. I'd never purchased a lip product from Avon before, so I was very impressed with the packaging. It was assuring to know my lips would be the first to try out these gorgeous products.
I tested Avon's Ultra Glazewear Absolute lip gloss in 'Nourishing Nude'. This was the first product I ripped open because I'd been dying to try out a nude lip gloss. The 6ml of precious liquid is housed in a classic lip gloss container with a wand for precise application and minimal wastage. Before applying the gloss, I made sure I had a smooth and flawless canvas by first applying some lip scrub in a gentle circular motion. Once my lips were prepped, I slicked some of the caramel-scented gloss onto them. The application is smooth and velvety. I only needed to dip my wand once to coat my lips, but it was impossible to resist applying more because the stuff smells like freshly-baked cookies! Throughout the day I found myself making weird faces, and trying to sniff my lips.
The gloss is light, gives a beautiful shine without looking greasy, and only has to be reapplied if you're eating or drinking a lot. 'Nourishing Nude' is an extremely wearable shade, perfect for everyday. It can also be worn over lipstick to add some shine and scent (because who doesn't love kissing someone who smells like cookies?). The gloss left my lips hydrated and soft, and I did not feel the need to apply a balm after I removed it in the evenings.
I feel that Avon's really made good on their promise of the Ultra Glazewear Absolute's ability to provide both colour and care for your lips. I did not need to apply anything else while wearing or even after I'd removed it. For at least two hours after wiping the gloss off, my lips remained soft, scented and 100% kissable. If you love the natural look, you can't go wrong with 'Nourishing Nude'. It provides a subtle colour, lovely fragrance, and SPF 15. Available in ten versatile shades, and currently going for R54.95 (regular price R109.95), there is absolutely no excuse for not trying the Ultra Glazewear Absolute. 'Nourishing Nude' is a little bakery in a bottle, and has fast become one of my favourites.
Ultra Colour Absolute Lipstick:
I tested Avon's Ultra Colour Absolute Lipstick in 'Lovely Fuchsia'. Being a fan of the nude look, I was quite taken aback by this bright lippy. As much as I love pink, it's not a colour I would easily wear on my lips. I wasn't sure if I could pull off such a striking colour, being the plain Jane that I am. But make-up is, after all, about self-exploration and adventure... so, I decided to give it a try.
One of the aspects I loved most about this product, was its presentation. Avon's Ultra Colour Absolute is a chunky lipstick that feels like a quality product. It glides out smoothly to reveal a good length of solid colour, branded with the Avon logo, which I thought was a nice touch, a feature common amongst high-end lipstick brands. Whether it would behave like a high-end brand, however, remained to be seen.
Like every other woman on this planet, I love sniffing my make-up. When I opened my Ultra Colour Absolute, I immediately braced myself for that 'oily' scent characteristic of most lipsticks I've used in the past. I was pleasantly surprised when I found Avon's lipstick had no trace of this smell, in fact, it has a very subtle fruity scent. The formula itself is unbelievably creamy and glides on like a dream. The Ultra Colour Absolute, while being a highly-pigmented lipstick, is not heavy on the lips - often I forgot that I was wearing any lipstick at all! It feels like a smooth lip balm, and it truly cares for your skin. Chock full of moisturizing ingredients, collagen, and vitamins C and E, this lippy is quite the nourishing treat!
If you're going to be wearing the lipstick for an hour or two in the evening, applying it straight onto clean lips is the way to go. It's got a beautiful satin finish and will keep your lips moisturized and soft. However, if you need real staying power from this gorgeous colour, I would suggest a different route.
There are many factors that can affect the way your lipstick behaves, like fluctuations in temperature, and eating/drinking/talking a lot. To ensure your gorgeous colour stays in place, you're going to need a bit more than just a clean canvas.
After scrubbing your lips (a very important, and non-negotiable step when applying lipstick, especially a bright colour like 'Lovely Fuchsia'), apply a drop of your regular foundation to your lips. I know, it sounds strange, and believe me, it looks even stranger, but doing this creates the perfect surface for the lipstick to "adhere" to. You know how you apply foundation to your eyelids so that your eyeshadow stays put? We're using pretty much the same principle in this case. Let the foundation set for a few minutes (pull a few funny faces in the mirror, if you like! Make-up is fun!), and then proceed with a sharpened lip liner that matches your lipstick. Start by lining the center of your Cupid's Bow, and then open your mouth and line the inner corners of your lips. Lastly, line the lowest part of your lower lip. The foundation actually makes the lip liner stand out more, and it will make the lip colour more prominent too.
After lining your lips, dab on the lip colour (dabbing will make your lipstick go further, and also ensure a more precise application if you don't have a lip brush). Now take your finger and gently blend the colour into your lips, touching up any mistakes as you go along. Gently blot with a tissue to remove the excess, and repeat the application and blotting for a more intense finish. Once you are satisfied with the colour, pick up your lip liner again and go over the edges of your lips with a cross hatching motion. Simply outlining your lips creates a hard, unnatural line. Blend the lip liner in with your Ultra Colour Absolute lipstick to avoid this look. (N.B. Lip liners are used when you need to create a long-lasting look; its waxy texture will prevent the lipstick from bleeding into the fine lines around your mouth.) To avoid lipstick stains on your teeth, simply bite down on your finger with your lips to remove any lipstick from the inner lip. Applying my 'Lovely Fuchsia' in this manner, my lip colour lasted for more nearly 8 hours, without any touch ups.
To remove the lip colour, simply blot and then slick on some Vaseline. Rub it into your lips for a few seconds, and then gently remove the rest of the lipstick with a tissue. Alternatively, you can blot until you're left with a subtle lip stain, and then apply some lip gloss or Vaseline to create a more subtle look, perfect for everyday wear.
As someone who does not usually wear striking lip colours, testing Avon's highly-pigmented Ultra Colour Absolute in 'Lovely Fuchsia' started off as quite a scary experience. The colour shows up really well on my caramel complexion, and I imagine it would be even more flattering on a porcelain skin tone. Ultra Colour Absolute is an excellent choice for flash photography as well (see my vampy picture!). Avon's new lipsticks are available in ten gorgeous shades. From everyday nudes like 'Coffee Creme', to racy colours like 'Red Velvet', there's a lippy for every skin tone, mood and occasion. There's even a hot purple, if you're keen to try the Lorde look. Enriched with collagen, vitamin E and C, as well as SPF 15, your lips will not only look stunning, they will also be pampered and protected. How much for a lipstick that promises AND delivers colour and care? Currently only R69.95 from Avon (regular price R139.95). At such great a price, you can't afford not to own one of these lush lippies. But, why not pair it up with its glossy twin? I am lucky enough to have a representative living on my doorstep, but even so, it is still incredibly frustrating to have to wait two weeks for my order to arrive. I remember anxiously ticking off the days when I made my first purchase of Avon's Glow Bronzing Pearls. Isn't it far more convenient to be able to walk into a store and buy your goodies immediately? Well, now you can! Maybe some of you already know this, but it came as a shock to me: There are three Avon Beauty Centers, situated in Cape Town, Durban and Pretoria, where you can test all the products and make instant purchases! No more excuses, ladies! Now that this bit of exciting information has been shared, let's get to the good stuff.
I received two products from the ladies at Beauty Bulletin. So firstly, a big thank you to everyone involved in the selection process. I am thrilled to have been a part of this trial team. I was sent a lipstick and a gloss from Avon. Both products were sealed in a black Avon wrapping, which made me really happy. I'd never purchased a lip product from Avon before, so I was very impressed with the packaging. It was assuring to know my lips would be the first to try out these gorgeous products.
I tested Avon's Ultra Glazewear Absolute lip gloss in 'Nourishing Nude'. This was the first product I ripped open because I'd been dying to try out a nude lip gloss. The 6ml of precious liquid is housed in a classic lip gloss container with a wand for precise application and minimal wastage. Before applying the gloss, I made sure I had a smooth and flawless canvas by first applying some lip scrub in a gentle circular motion. Once my lips were prepped, I slicked some of the caramel-scented gloss onto them. The application is smooth and velvety. I only needed to dip my wand once to coat my lips, but it was impossible to resist applying more because the stuff smells like freshly-baked cookies! Throughout the day I found myself making weird faces, and trying to sniff my lips.
The gloss is light, gives a beautiful shine without looking greasy, and only has to be reapplied if you're eating or drinking a lot. 'Nourishing Nude' is an extremely wearable shade, perfect for everyday. It can also be worn over lipstick to add some shine and scent (because who doesn't love kissing someone who smells like cookies?). The gloss left my lips hydrated and soft, and I did not feel the need to apply a balm after I removed it in the evenings.
I feel that Avon's really made good on their promise of the Ultra Glazewear Absolute's ability to provide both colour and care for your lips. I did not need to apply anything else while wearing or even after I'd removed it. For at least two hours after wiping the gloss off, my lips remained soft, scented and 100% kissable. If you love the natural look, you can't go wrong with 'Nourishing Nude'. It provides a subtle colour, lovely fragrance, and SPF 15. Available in ten versatile shades, and currently going for R54.95 (regular price R109.95), there is absolutely no excuse for not trying the Ultra Glazewear Absolute. 'Nourishing Nude' is a little bakery in a bottle, and has fast become one of my favourites.
Ultra Colour Absolute Lipstick:
I tested Avon's Ultra Colour Absolute Lipstick in 'Lovely Fuchsia'. Being a fan of the nude look, I was quite taken aback by this bright lippy. As much as I love pink, it's not a colour I would easily wear on my lips. I wasn't sure if I could pull off such a striking colour, being the plain Jane that I am. But make-up is, after all, about self-exploration and adventure... so, I decided to give it a try.
One of the aspects I loved most about this product, was its presentation. Avon's Ultra Colour Absolute is a chunky lipstick that feels like a quality product. It glides out smoothly to reveal a good length of solid colour, branded with the Avon logo, which I thought was a nice touch, a feature common amongst high-end lipstick brands. Whether it would behave like a high-end brand, however, remained to be seen.
Like every other woman on this planet, I love sniffing my make-up. When I opened my Ultra Colour Absolute, I immediately braced myself for that 'oily' scent characteristic of most lipsticks I've used in the past. I was pleasantly surprised when I found Avon's lipstick had no trace of this smell, in fact, it has a very subtle fruity scent. The formula itself is unbelievably creamy and glides on like a dream. The Ultra Colour Absolute, while being a highly-pigmented lipstick, is not heavy on the lips - often I forgot that I was wearing any lipstick at all! It feels like a smooth lip balm, and it truly cares for your skin. Chock full of moisturizing ingredients, collagen, and vitamins C and E, this lippy is quite the nourishing treat!
If you're going to be wearing the lipstick for an hour or two in the evening, applying it straight onto clean lips is the way to go. It's got a beautiful satin finish and will keep your lips moisturized and soft. However, if you need real staying power from this gorgeous colour, I would suggest a different route.
There are many factors that can affect the way your lipstick behaves, like fluctuations in temperature, and eating/drinking/talking a lot. To ensure your gorgeous colour stays in place, you're going to need a bit more than just a clean canvas.
After scrubbing your lips (a very important, and non-negotiable step when applying lipstick, especially a bright colour like 'Lovely Fuchsia'), apply a drop of your regular foundation to your lips. I know, it sounds strange, and believe me, it looks even stranger, but doing this creates the perfect surface for the lipstick to "adhere" to. You know how you apply foundation to your eyelids so that your eyeshadow stays put? We're using pretty much the same principle in this case. Let the foundation set for a few minutes (pull a few funny faces in the mirror, if you like! Make-up is fun!), and then proceed with a sharpened lip liner that matches your lipstick. Start by lining the center of your Cupid's Bow, and then open your mouth and line the inner corners of your lips. Lastly, line the lowest part of your lower lip. The foundation actually makes the lip liner stand out more, and it will make the lip colour more prominent too.
After lining your lips, dab on the lip colour (dabbing will make your lipstick go further, and also ensure a more precise application if you don't have a lip brush). Now take your finger and gently blend the colour into your lips, touching up any mistakes as you go along. Gently blot with a tissue to remove the excess, and repeat the application and blotting for a more intense finish. Once you are satisfied with the colour, pick up your lip liner again and go over the edges of your lips with a cross hatching motion. Simply outlining your lips creates a hard, unnatural line. Blend the lip liner in with your Ultra Colour Absolute lipstick to avoid this look. (N.B. Lip liners are used when you need to create a long-lasting look; its waxy texture will prevent the lipstick from bleeding into the fine lines around your mouth.) To avoid lipstick stains on your teeth, simply bite down on your finger with your lips to remove any lipstick from the inner lip. Applying my 'Lovely Fuchsia' in this manner, my lip colour lasted for more nearly 8 hours, without any touch ups.
To remove the lip colour, simply blot and then slick on some Vaseline. Rub it into your lips for a few seconds, and then gently remove the rest of the lipstick with a tissue. Alternatively, you can blot until you're left with a subtle lip stain, and then apply some lip gloss or Vaseline to create a more subtle look, perfect for everyday wear.
As someone who does not usually wear striking lip colours, testing Avon's highly-pigmented Ultra Colour Absolute in 'Lovely Fuchsia' started off as quite a scary experience. The colour shows up really well on my caramel complexion, and I imagine it would be even more flattering on a porcelain skin tone. Ultra Colour Absolute is an excellent choice for flash photography as well (see my vampy picture!). Avon's new lipsticks are available in ten gorgeous shades. From everyday nudes like 'Coffee Creme', to racy colours like 'Red Velvet', there's a lippy for every skin tone, mood and occasion. There's even a hot purple, if you're keen to try the Lorde look. Enriched with collagen, vitamin E and C, as well as SPF 15, your lips will not only look stunning, they will also be pampered and protected. How much for a lipstick that promises AND delivers colour and care? Currently only R69.95 from Avon (regular price R139.95). At such great a price, you can't afford not to own one of these lush lippies. But, why not pair it up with its glossy twin? I am not a lipstick person, due to the fact that most lipsticks, especially the one's I can afford, become dry and uncomfortable for me, making me constantly aware that I'm wearing lipstick, which is something I dread. But I tried the new Avon colour stay lipstick, first time I tried it, I fell inlove with with it. It's moisturizing and absolutely light. I even forget I'm wearing it, so inlove with it, and it's within my price range, which makes it even better. I only wish it would last longer, I have to reapply a couple of times, something I don't like.
The lipgloss ultra glazewear absolute is super amazing, I love lipgloss but also very sensitive to some as I develop a rash on my lips when I use some. But this was perfect, as if it was made for me, brilliant colour, care and long lasting shine, makes my lips, irresistible. Thank you Avon, affordability meets great quality and care. Couldn't ask for more. Can't wait to try new colours

Ooooo double the trouble this time thank you Naquita and Kelly.After recieving two cool lipglosses from Avons new ultra glazewear absolute lipgloss range I started feeling guilty only because I cant choose which one I want to try first because they are both so gorgeous and since I cant wear both at the same time I had to behave and start with the Pure poppy which is very cute and so girly,it hasthis really soft pink colour so you will not at all look like you fell back in time with a shocking pink colour,after applying the pure poppy and worrying that my smooth berry lipgloss was feeling lonely I found that application was smooth and light as some lipglosses I have found heavy in the past even when it wears off after a long while it leaves my lips soft which means this winter I dont have to apply some sort of lip balm (happy dance).The range consists of 10 all too pretty shades that have 6 oh so good for you conditioning ingredients which leaves your lips feeling very pampered and it has self renewing pigments whic basically means that the colour stays true for longer so go ahead kiss as many people as you like but you will still have a pretty coloured pout when youre finished.High five for Avon again.Oh and I always do my homework and I am glad to share that you can purchase any of the 10 very cute ultra absolute glazewear lipglosseswith any ultra absolute glazewear lipstick and you will pay R89.90 for both which is yet again an affordable find.

I was excited by the quality of these lipsticks. They go on really smoothly and have a soft texture, and a moisturising effect which I envy in lipsticks. There is nothing worse than a lipstick which fills any cracks and makes your lips feel dry. So for me that was a real plus.
The colour I received was Natural Flush – for me this colour is perfect for those “look natural” days, and I wear it more often for day time wear than for night, I love the fact that it contains a sunscreen for this pure reason. The lipsticks contain no stain therefore the colour does fade within a few hours or after eating or drinking, but the product claims to continue to condition lips which is a real bonus.

Avon Ultra Glazewear Absolute Lipgloss is awesome, I was lucky enough to review the one called "Renewing rose". It is claimed to have SPF15, my knowledge of such is little, but the truth about this lipgloss is that its amazing. I found that it has a neutral soft smell, so you don't feel the sensation to eat it or lick it from your lips.
It matches any skin colour really, (my friend forced me to let her have test it, I therefore no more carry it at close proximity to her), I have a caramel, though Ethnic skin tone and it looks nice. It is sophisticated, simply by the way it is packaged "dip-stick" and when you apply, unless you have humongous lips, only have to use it once, I use it twice nonetheless...its soft. I hope that I mentioned that its not sticky on the lips so you do not have to worry about your hair getting stuck on your lips.
This range is suitable for anyone really, because it doesn't scream at all.
Tho downside is that you have to apply it frequently, but its okay, it is called "lipgloss" and not "lipstick". I will definitely buy it when this one is finished. Good product by Avon. :)

I received the Avon lipstick in the shade of pure orchid. It's a moisturizing lipstick with intense colour. I used this lipstick on a bride who wanted just pink for her makeup. I filled in her lips with a lip brush. Then dotted on a bit of the gloss over for added glam. The end result was beautiful. The lip colour brought the whole look together. The quality and texture the product is good making application a breeze. The colour in the tube and on application is the same. Personally I found the lipstick ideal for the cold winter months as it's creamy texture kept my lips soft and embalmed

I received this parcel from BB which included Avon's Ultra colour absolute lipstick SPF 15 & Ultra glazewear absolute lipgloss SPF 15.
To start with, I loved the colour (a Light pink). And it was just amazing. It really have a sort of Natural look aswell.
The pink renewal lipstick and renewing rose lipgloss goes perfectly together and it stays on for long. It is definitely worth every cent. I haven't come across any lipgloss/lipstick that has this amazing quality.
Would definitely prefer this product before any other.

I had recieved the Avon ultra color absolute lipstick in the colour "Pink Renewal" and the lipgloss in the colour "Heavenly Honey". To start off I was totally impressed with the packaging of both the lipgloss and lipstick, they were both so sleek and elegant that i was impressed right away. I LOVED the way the lipstick felt while applying it, it was so smooth and glided on perfecly, better than some of my extremely expensive lipsticks had felt whilst applying. The colour Pink Renewal was an extremely light pink colour that had a bit of a milky look to it, almost like strawberry milkshake on my lips and I was wowed by the pigmentation. Even though it had no claims to be long lasting, it had lasted for a good few hours even after having a bite to eat which i found completely wonderful.
The lip gloss amazed me as well. It was not sticky at all, a trait I usually hate on lip glosses and I was impressed by the colour on me. It was a nudey brown and I was extremely excited about it as i was looking for a colour like this.
After applying and testing both the lip gloss and lip stick individually, my lips were super smooth and kissable. All in all, i was IN LOVE with these 2 products I had received as they had lived up to their claim and i can't wait to buy more colours in this range!

I am very pleased with this lipstick and lipgloss BB sent me to review.I was only able to get it from the post office one week ago,so im just meeting the deadline! I though i should try it for 1 week before saying what I think.
I was firstly surprised by the pretty pink packaging and I was crossing fingers the BB ladies chose the right colour for me and season appropriate.On my first glance at this pretty and feminine dark pink called "pure orchid" it was love at first sight!
I personally love wearing dark lipstick colours in colder months as fashion starts to become more season like. I think this colour really suits my skin and makes a beautiful contrast with my blonde ombre hair.
I think it has an edge and for sure goes well with all types of clothes for day and night.
It also lasts reasonably long.
The ultra glazewear absolute lipgloss came in "renewing rose" which is a perfect match for the lipstick.It just brings more shine and glamour to it.
In days I'm feeling like a pop of colour but not shine,I used the lipstick only.
For nights I used the lipgloss on top.

I tried the AVON ultra colour lipstick and Ultra Glazewear Absolute Lipgloss SPF 15 for the first time.
I received the lipstick in the "Pure Orchid" colour and I absolutely loved it. Its the colour that I would have chosen for myself, as it suits my complection.
I loved the fact that the lipstick glided on smoothly and didn't have that odd 'castor oil' smell and taste to it!
The lipstick gives a lovely gloss to the lips and keeps the lips well moisturized. My lips were feeling quite dry, due to a heavy flu, and lots of antihistimines, with my lips peeling. I liked the fact that the lipstick did not enhance the flakiness of my lips and the best part is that unlike other lipsticks in darker shades, this one did NOT 'bleed', the only con,if I can even call it that, is that its not a lipstick you can apply and forget about, its not a long lasting lipstick and needs to be touched up regularly, especially after eating or drinking, the other plus, is that is removes easily without leaving a tint on the lips.
